I have domains and websites with Fasthosts, Google and Squarespace. Google Analytics enables me to monitor all my sites easily and consistently. I can also analyse my YouTube channel and track engagement of my email campaigns. I regularly look at Google Analytics on my main website (around two to three times a week) to understand which pages are getting the most views and from which cities/region around the world. My business now is art-based but I have over 27 years experience in commerce/IT. Even so Google Analytics involves a steep learning curve to implementation and analysis. Sometimes the help pages/instructions send me off doen a rabbit hole of cascading links as it often feels that to understand the help page I'm on I need to have read another one or more first. It's not that the help is badly written, it just feels like everyhting is linked to everythign else and that there is a summary text missing that could provide a bit more direction over scope of intent and any prerequisitie steps required.
