## About 360° media
360° media, consisting of 360° videos and images, is a great way for developers to enhance traditional apps with immersive content. You can embed a 360° video into a travel app to provide viewers with an Underwater scuba diving tour as they plan a vacation, or into a home-building app that takes prospective buyers on a virtual walkthrough of their home before it’s built.

**What do you like best about 360° media?**

It was a good product till the time it was discontinued. Better to invest the resources in capturing 360 footage with normal cameras and hosting it on other services.

**What do you dislike about 360° media?**

It's a deprecated offering. Better options exist, but organisations should now wait and watch out for the dominant VR providers in this space. With rumours around Apple, Meta and Samsung headsets, this space could see a radical disruption like the one that happened around the original iPhone launch

**What problems is 360° media solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For simpler use-cases, a 360 video with voiceovers does a fantastic job of providing the required immersion and instructions to the end-user. It was well-suited for product showcase and virtual tour use-cases.
