GoodParty.org is a U.S.-based civic tech organization on a mission to empower independent candidates and everyday Americans to run for office, win, and serve, without relying on traditional political parties or big money. Initially launched to address the imbalance in political representation, GoodParty.org has rapidly grown in reach and impact. In 2024, it supported 6,700+ candidates for local office across 50 states to achieve 3,400+ winners. The organization combines the power of technology, community, and nonpartisan support to make democracy more accessible and effective. GoodParty.org offers a robust suite of campaign tools and voter data designed specifically for independent and nonpartisan candidates. Its free web-based software includes a custom campaign plan, the ability to create custom voter data, and outreach methods such as text-banking and door knocking. The platform also provides step-by-step campaign training, live candidate events, a community space for collaboration with other candidates, and access to free campaign materials like yard signs. GoodParty.org solves the core problem faced by independent and third-party candidates: a lack of resources, guidance, and institutional support. By offering accessible, affordable, and expert-driven tools, it levels the playing field and enables candidates to run effective campaigns without the backing of major parties. Whether it’s simplifying campaign strategy, enhancing voter outreach, or demystifying election logistics, GoodParty.org empowers individuals to transform their communities through people-powered, nonpartisan political leadership.
