"A great note-taking and class-making app."

What do you like best about Goodnotes?

GoodNotes has been indispensible for daily notetaking during meetings, signing documents, grading/marking up electronic papers, and for running online courses. It's easy to use and has a very minimal learning curve. The ability to convert hand-writing to typed text is extrememly useful as is the ability to quickly switch between tools and colors when it comes to note-taking and presentations. GoodNotes integrates well with virtual meeting software (GoogleMeet, Zoom, etc.) and is useful as a whiteboard while screen-sharing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Goodnotes?

The only complaint I've had is the lack of greek letter recognition. I work with greek symbols frequently in my note-taking and courses. When using the writing-to-text, it would be nice to have the greek lettes appear. When handwriting notes, this is not a issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Goodnotes solving and how is that benefiting you?

GoodNotes allows me to sign business documents, acts as a whiteboard for online course instruction. It allows me to prerecord lectures and actively write on lecture slides (when combined with screen recording apps) rather than switching back and forth between screens/pencil and paper. While there aren't built in animations, I can quickly add in photos and move components around a screen or demonstrate motion with the laser pointer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Goodnotes?

The best thing about Goodnotes is that it can replace many of your notebooks. As well as your planner and your sketch book, you can use it to annotate notes on PDFs. I no longer have to carry around several notebooks. Now I just have Goodnotes on my iPad. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Goodnotes?

The types of paper and notebook covers in Goodnotes are limited. There are some more available in the store, but I would like to see some truly original templates, such as pro level graph paper, triangular grided paper or different coloured papers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Goodnotes?

The most helpful about Goodnotes is the use of the Apple Pencil with my iPad Pro.

The upsides are:

-Drawing on PDFs

-open big PDFs like architecture plans

-generate notebooks with many pages

What do you dislike about Goodnotes?

I dislike about Goodnotes that I could not use the automatic backup with the iCloud Drive.
