After a quick training end users can investigate trends and outliers they see (without coding!). Users trust data sources more as they can see the model. Using centralized metrics helps everyone to be on the same page across teams. Overall, the tool helped multiple teams to access data points of interest quickly, manipulate visualizations and derive insights. The tech support team was super quick to answer any of my questions, and their answers were helpful. **What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?** We had to create a transformation layer to replicate the same accessibility of data points as in our main reporting tool. It created another step in the pipeline and it needs its own maintenance. After going through at least a dozen tools, I was super impressed with the quality and ease of the GoodData interface. It was the only tool I felt comfortable passing along to my colleagues and feeling like they'd be able to "figure it out" without needing much heavy lifting by me. I used lots of documentation and whatnot to learn how to use it, and it was all organized well and super informative. I'd highly recommend GoodData to anyone out there looking for a user friendly and yet very powerful BI tool. **What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?** My only complaint was it is a bit difficult to explain the building of the logical data model to my business partners. We had planned for an implementation that would require very little development help but that was not the case. The implementation needs to be done by a technical team and there are a lot of parts that are required to make the implementation more automated. These features come as standard with Good Data so it allows our team to focus on creating even higher value features and dashboards. **What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?** Currently, we do not have the ability to display data on dashboards in real-time. There is latency of approx 15 mins-20 mins, shorter in some cases but it cannot be classed as real-time. **Recommendations to others considering GoodData.AI:** Excellent, very flexible solution for Data Analytics. We are preparing for the first rollout to our internal users (and subsequently, clients) and the whole implementation team- Developers, Project Manager, Account Manager have been very supportive in helping us to meet our goals for the initial product release. We all know the butchered saying ‘What gets measured gets managed’. Cliché perhaps, but spot on! Having KPIs and dashboard-style reports benefits the vast array of users we have from multiple departments - product teams, IT, engineering, quality, and executives. Since we’re able to surface the analytics seamlessly, there’s no need for our customers to devote IT resources to get value from their data. There are multiple data visualization methods available and it’s easy to export information to share with stakeholders or even schedule emails to be sent. Apart from the product, GoodData is a great partner to work with. Their account team and technical specialists are proactive, responsive, and sharp. **What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?** There is a bit of a learning curve and education time is needed to fully understand the best ways to configure KPIs. That said, the documentation is there and we’ve employed services from GD for more complex efforts with great success. We'd also like the ability to deploy to AWS GovCloud. **Recommendations to others considering GoodData.AI:** Attend a webinar! I found a high level overview helpful when taking over an existing implementation. The data gets refreshed 1x per hour, and the report takes 20- 30 minutes to populate accurately on a report, so if you make a project plan change that impacts a report, at 10:05, the next data refresh doesn't happen until 11:00, and the report isn't available with that data until 11:30. **What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?** We didn't have this level of detail in to our project and portfolio for financials. We are really able to slice and dice this data and get really granular with it.
