**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

We are able to pull all data we need using existing metrics and also create new ones. Its easy to setup dashboard. Employes without much experience can easly use created reports. I find speed as a good advantage of this system comparing to some other solutions we used, as well as export and embed opportunities

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

Can't just copy paste recepies. have to reproduce every report choosing from scratch every attribute and metrics. When gooddata is embeded in zendesk its not possible to share link to a report.
Some metrics are contradictive, its hard to understand why certain metrics doesn't work in current report. And forcing never actually worked. Analyze tabs is somewhat complicated.
Filters opportunities are limited.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sometimes we don't understand that data collected not in realtime, and it makes it sometimes complicated when troubleshooting.
We were able to make our own set of metrics which fills our business needs. 
Zendesk is moving on, so we have to migrate and won't be able to use this resource in the future. So that makes us create same reports using other tool.
So I don't know what else to say. It takes a lot of efforts to make new metric and administrator have to know where to search what. if you trying to make your own recepie you have to do a lot of trial and errors if you are new to the system

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

GoodData is pretty intuitive and has always been easy to use, whether I am looking at qualitative or quantitative data. The dashboards are clean and can be customized for any data need. The dashboards and reports sections are great for what I need to see - you can either look at pre-made categories or create your own folders for easy finding of metrics that you create on your own or use often. I find that creating different dashboards is simple and you can add visualization pieces into the page without a lot of work.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

I could have used some additional help tools when looking at some of our more complex metrics or dashboards, such as drill in metrics or versions of different metrics.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are looking at Zendesk ticket metrics such as first reply and resolution times, # of comments and re-assignments, as well as who our top agents are with regards to number of tickets. We also measure how many tickets are sent to agents and resolved there, or escalated to our development teams for resolution. The best part about the capabilities is seeing these metric trends over time as our clients often want to see how well we are doing with their issues and concerns. We do report on these internally as well. 

If there are easily identifiable reasons for certain issues, we can address those proactively and reactively which helps us scale our business with our largest clients who have high expectations about their support issues.

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

The most helpful part of GoodData is the ability to quickly hop into the platform and generate a report that I can export and schedule for my team. I like that I had the ability to create a link that I could send to my team members. There were some great upsides in how it connected seamlessly with ZenDesk and being able to quickly export. With ZenDesk transitioning to Explore, I'm not sure if GoodData will continue to be utilized.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

I would love it to continue to improve in advanced reporting. similar to the Tableau dashboard capabilities. The UI could be more intuitive. Once I jumped in, however, it was easy to understand and how it was filtering data. I noticed that when I was using Tableau and other platforms, it took some acquired skills, whereas GoodData, I could pick off from the very start. A very interesting platform to utilize.

The main problems that I have been able to solve is being able to see the trends in support tickets. GoodData made reporting easy.

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

I like how easy it is to create a new report. It's straight forward in how each category is set up and what metrics are listed under each cateogry makes sense.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

It's hard to find and filter reports. Our team is unfamiliar with best steps on saving each report into a perspective folder, so we often find ourselves using the All folder for reports. This can be hard to find if you forget the name of the exact report you are looking for.

**Recommendations to others considering GoodData.AI:**

Make filing the report a part of the saving process. Meaning you can't save without filing the report or editing permissions.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GoodData has made it easy to pull a large understanding of what our metrics look like. It's easy to create reports with specific metrics and then be able to export to a CSV. We typically export then paste into a Google Sheet. Ideally, we don't want to have to do that, but it makes the most sense for our current workflow.

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

GoodData has excellent integration with Zendesk (which is our primary use case). The integration is seamless and allows us to create custom reporting that brings attention to the areas of our business that we are needing to ensure are where we need them to be. They also have great support in my experience. Any time I have needed assistance in understanding or effectively presenting my data, they have been there to help.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

It's not their fault, but to make adjustments to the data flowing into the tool you really need expert help. I don't think that is a dig on this tool/platform, but it is a reality. It can also get pretty pricey, but all BI tools fall into this bracket.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We primarily utilize GoodData in pairing with our Zendesk support tools. This allows us to provide KPI metrics across the organization that speaks to the influence and play between our operational teams and other areas.

It is visually less appealing than you would expect and it can be difficult to find to correct filters and reports to provide what you are looking for.

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

GoodData brings a lot of flexibility and capability at an affordable price point for early stage companies. We compared several different platforms prior to making a selection and six months into our roll-out, we continue to be impressed by the things GoodData can do. These features will allow us to grow and scale our platform along with our company. Overall, we're now very happy with our selection.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

It was challenging to get up to speed on the platform. There are many unique conventions to the platform that took time to work through. Their documentation is improving, but is sparse in some critical areas. The metric builder with MAQL (their custom language) is challenging to use. Both these areas have seen improvements in the past month and continue to get better. The GD team has been responsive and actively seeks feedback on the platform. Listening and improvement have gone a long way toward tempering the early concerns with the platform. The support and integration team was key for getting us set up correctly.

**Recommendations to others considering GoodData.AI:**

Bundling a support contract with your initial platform license will get you up and running a lot faster and with less hassle.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're creating a new data platform for the tourism industry. GoodData has given us the flexibility and capability to focus our development resources on the areas of the highest value to our clients, while providing an excellent user experience through the GoodData platform.

GoodData is a good platform for OEMs as it completely hide the fact that GoodData is powering the BI solution. Well documented API. Good data visualization options, dashboards, reports. etc.

I wish there were better options for Date/Time fields and Timezones. MAQL takes a bit of time to learn.

You can create custom reports, spin up custom metrics and dimensions. It is natively available in Zendesk.
I really like the humanization of the reporting structure like - WHAT, HOW, FILTER tabs. Nice!

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

It is very slow. There seems to be no TLC given to this product in the past 203 years and it looks very outdated. I analyze huge ticket datasets, and this tool just takes forever to load the results or even the page. The interface is very 90s. Sharing is also a big pain

**Recommendations to others considering GoodData.AI:**

The usage of gooddata is very limited. You are rather good to use the API and use it in your databases and own BI tools.
There are though some good unique metrics available via native gooddata interface.

GoodData offers so many options for compiling reports and dashboards. The report builder asks questions in ways that guide me as a user to getting exactly the information I want.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

Not being able to report on "received at" address is a constant challenge and we've had to devise a workaround that is not always reliable.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows us to monitor customer satisfaction and key metrics related to responsiveness and complication of tickets. Also allows us to allocate staff time across multiple programs (we understand how many hours are spent on one program vs. another based on tags and received at address)

The ability to create custom metrics and drill-in reports are my favorite features. I've only used GoodData via Zendesk Insights, though, so my view may be a bit limited.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

Dashboards take too long to load and often require a page refresh to properly display data. Not being able to just type in MQL for custom metrics is really annoying and adds additional time to metric creation. Also, only updating hourly (or worse if not on Zendesk Enterprise) is not ideal.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's great having this built into Zendesk so that is has easy access to all Zendesk data without needing to build it ourself.

This tool has helped me in understanding the sales processing and equipped me with amazing tools by which I easily create the data-backed recommendations, so that our team has the great idea about the product proposals. Our certain outlets have collaborated with this tool and now we are capable of distributing the key operational KPIs , so that our profit get increased.

It is not simple in its usage a proper training should be given to the tea so that it can be implemented properly. Also its interface is bulky and it took time to find a certain category, which is irritating sometimes. Moreover we feel that its pricing policy should be further negotiated.

This tool is very useful for the sales business and it could be any business type like it will benefit the insurance sector and any product selling business. The most helpful functionality of GoodData is preparing reports instantly just by dragging and dropping the parameters.
As a data analyst, I need to validate and prepare a lot of reports weekly and monthly basis, GoodData makes the work simpler.

The visualization part should still be improved.
For reports with a tabular format, it is very helpful, but I still use other tools for the visualization.

To generate reports instantly GoodData is a great platform and also it is very user friendly

Reports are generated instantly, so my time is very well managed.
I use GoodData mostly for monitoring the tickets created v/s tickets solved, SLA and Aging.
It is easy to compare the data between two months and so on

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

Creating reports independently and scheduling exports. 
The "what-how-filter" layout allows to create a variety of reports.
The scheduling functionality provides any Zendesk user with reports automatically send via email.
The Dashboards allow to group relevant reports and customize filters for every other Zendesk user to self serve their reporting needs.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

limited options for visual reportings (i.e. poor design of tables and charts, sorting of charts, lack of formats and colours). We export data as processing it in Excel, Power BI etc. is more efficient and appealing.

The format (space of columns) in tables is hard work (much space is wasted in original setting). 

The preview of a report cannot be displayed when there are only a few columns (why not allow for scrolling to the right). This makes sorting columns difficult for reports with more than 8 columns.

Maximum of 20 columns (not a huge issue but inconvenient)

**Recommendations to others considering GoodData.AI:**

If you are looking to implement a user friendly CRM with strong and dynamic reporting capabilities Zendesk and Good Data can be recommended.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GoodData is used to report in Zendesk (for almost real time reporting) and to export all neccessary data for further processing in other tools. It allows us to tailor (raw data) reports (even create new metrics) and fully automate the export to our data warehouse using scheduled reporting functionality.

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

The access to all Zendesk fields is a huge plus. There is thoughtfulness in the premade dashboards. Also, it is intuitive to figure out how to create your own reports. Overall, the reports are accurate since the data from Zendesk comes straight from the source. Also, while the reports are slow to load at times, they usually don't break and do load eventually.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

Finding data and filtering is a choppy experience. The "what," "how," and "filter" sections need drilling in what causes a need for additional clicks. It is also slow to load. It's also difficult getting people logged in after sharing links. When sharing reports links with other Zendesk users who have signed up for Gooddata, they often can't access it. We had to come up with a workaround where they need to go to Zendesk, click on a GoodData link in there, then go back and click on the shared link. This obviously causes a lot of friction and decreased buy-in on using the tool.

**Recommendations to others considering GoodData.AI:**

Get familiar with it by understanding the premade reports, then try to recreate them from scratch on your own. We use it for Zendesk, so overall it has all the relevant fields there. If you need strictly ticket data from Zendesk and don't need to cross-reference it with other databases, this acted as a good tool for us.

Getting data on customer contacts and agent productivity.

I love the ability to customize metrics and reports.  I did have quite a few issues at the beginning of my reporting, but with time, I have developed the knowledge and skill to function easily in the program. My company has now become mostly reliant on information that I can provide based on information obtained in GoodData.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

Some metrics/reporting are unavailable, this is mostly caused by issues in what incoming information is available.  This can include agent available states/times.  I would love to see that information available, however, I believe that stems from an issue in the transmission of information into GoodData.

**Recommendations to others considering GoodData.AI:**

Take the time to learn the program.  If I could change one of my experiences, it would be to take the class to learn the program.  That would have helped my transition and ability to implement move much faster!

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been able to identify points in our business where automation could alleviate pressures on teams.  Also, we have been able to determine where some of our shortfalls are in customer service, including, but not limited to, staffing hours for phones, quality assurance, and weekly time spent on issues.

GoodData can be extremely useful if the right reports are set up. Creating the reports might need some "expert" support.

Initial ease-of-use for setting up pipelines using ETL processes can feel tedious. In part this is due to the deprecation of CloudConnect and so there's a mix of old and new resources in GoodData's documentation.

With Zendesk rolling out it's move to BIME/Explore, don't forget the potential to use GoodData via API here!

Great documentation, great interactions with their support team, reliable integration to Zendesk, reliable data, easy to build custom reports/metrics and dashboards. I guess once you get hooked on using GoodData, there is no turning back. My company actually also uses a different Analytics tool company wide to pull data from all sorts of tools we are using but I've been resistant to using that because it's nothing compared to the ease of use of GoodData.

I guess that MAQL is unique to gooddata and can take some time getting used to, but also it is not a big blocker

I like the metrics explorer and the ability to create custom metrics. Building dashboards with all of the pertinent data you need allows for easy trend analysis and reporting to leadership.

It can be very cumbersome trying to display different charting on the same report. You need to save each visualization of the report as it's own unique report. This can take some time. Ex: If I want to see a pie chart, a table, and a total roll-up count, I would have to create a report with the data points, then change the type of report and save each one separately.

We have driven costs down by analyzing our workflows using weekly reporting in GoodData. I have setup daily leadership reporting to be emailed out.

This is not going to be your end solution if you need complex visualizations, but it is a quick and easy application to learn.  Thus, it is fast and easy to roll out to an organization.  Expert users will not be satisfied.

We can focus our development efforts on our core competencies.  Our customers were using our API and building their own analytics solutions with Power BI and Tableau.
