## GoodData.AI Reviews
  ### 1. Mosaic & Semantic Layer Unite Our Data, Plus Helpful AI Dashboard Suggestions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeff P. | Director of Sales, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2026

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

The Mosaic and Semantic Layer do a great job of bringing a large volume of Data together as one place to go versus jumping to multiple systems. Junior Analysts will really benefit from the AI Tool Suggestions in building visually appealing and user-friendly dashboards that meet their customers expectations. It's very loud in this room (with the espresso machine) however, the Automated Report Scheduling does seem to be working and has not failed me...yet.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

The speed issues in this application can be frustrating when trying to open Cube Data or Add Columns to Reports because it takes a long time to Refresh. We moved from On-Prem to Cloud last year, and trying to resolve some of these "small" items such as Masking Dashboard URLs or Importing Images Next To Links is taking a lot longer than expected. They are also getting rid of Command Manager, which means I need to Learn Python in order to perform things that were much easier on the backend.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using it to bring many disparate data sources together into one Governed Platform instead of having to deal with Large Excel Downloads. In essence, it provides us with a Single Source Of Truth for Reporting, so everyone sees the same Numbers when making Decisions.

  ### 2. Flexible and powerful platform for embedded analytics

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gina H. | Data Analytics Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2025

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

GoodData.AI’s biggest advantage, in my view, is its ability to bring key business metrics together in one central, easy-to-access place. As a Data Analyst Manager, I really value being able to build standard reports that can be reused consistently across different clients. The platform also offers intuitive visualization tools along with flexible scripting options, which makes it much easier and faster to locate the specific data I need. In addition, connecting it to our existing systems—such as SAP for automated financial data—has saved our team a significant amount of time that used to be spent on manual reconciliation. On top of that, it includes plenty of ready-to-use configuration options that help streamline our day-to-day work.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

Overall, the product is highly flexible and has often exceeded our operational expectations. That said, one clear drawback is that setting up the more advanced dashboards can be quite time-consuming. Because the platform includes such a broad range of features, there’s a modest learning curve when it comes to finding the most effective KPI configurations, often through trial and error. This upfront complexity can sometimes slow down our ability to deliver critical insights to our internal operations and finance teams.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before implementing GoodData.AI, our analytics were highly fragmented. We relied on numerous disconnected spreadsheets to track operational performance and financial budgets, which often led to major data inconsistencies between our finance and operations teams.

In short, we used to struggle with scattered data sources and time-consuming manual reconciliation. Now we can automatically consolidate and visualize all the essential KPIs in a single, unified platform. As a result, our reporting workflow is far more scalable, and we have complete data consistency across departments.

  ### 3. Effortless Drag-and-Drop Dashboards with Smart AI Visualization Suggestions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ivan B. | Sales Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

I enjoy the ease of creating good looking, presentable dashboards for clients/management, because I can connect to various data sources, whereas previously I needed an IT person to help. This software has a genuine "drag and drop" report creation feature. The AI generated reports are also nice. It will look at your dataset and provide suggested visualizations automatically. And I like that the data connectors available are fairly comprehensive, as well as being able to hook into a number of data source providers.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

The basic functions are okay, but the minute you try to get fancy with custom metrics or data blending you will be either attending webinars or waiting on customer support. A small pet peeve is that the pre-made chart templates don't offer much variety (especially when working with an industry specific template). Also, it takes significantly longer to load datasets and it will literally sit there trying to process the data and you will be sitting there waiting. Pricing also jumps rather dramatically after you move past the base level.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GoodData.AI solves the same problem as it did last year, however now it does so in one place, versus across four systems. Beforehand, it would take us an enormous amount of time to collect and combine all of our data in order to create a single view. With GoodData we have access to all of that information in one location and the reporting is automatic and therefore when someone asks how we are doing relative to our targets, I am not spending two hours preparing to respond.

  ### 4. GoodData Saves Time with an Intuitive, Executive-Ready Dashboard

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dibyendu G. | Business Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

So GoodData has saved me time in that it puts all my information into one place so i don’t have to search through multiple websites for my numbers. After a long day at work i really come back to the dashboard as i am able to view kpi’s without having to create a complex query each time. I’m happy to say that dragging & dropping the chart function works well and did not fail me when i needed to put together a presentation for the executive team last week. The non-technical people on my team are able to utilize this system, which was a major goal of ours.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

It becomes slow (noticeably) when trying to process larger than normal datasets which is very annoying. When exporting excel files they always appear unprofessional (sub-totals and grand totals all stacked up) and i would never send an exported file to a client without having to re-format it myself. Also, every single time you make a query you must wrap the column name(s) in quotes which may be a small pet peeve but it is certainly frustrating when doing it over and over again.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before we used good data, we pulled data from about 3-4 places and somebody had to spend hours compiling it, and it wasn't even always correct. With good data all of our data is in one location and reports reflect what is going on in real-time so we are no longer making decisions based off of last weeks number.

  ### 5. Saves Time with Multi-Source Metrics and Flexible, Customizable Dashboards

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martin P. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

The fact that I can pull in metrics from probably twelve different sources and then look at them all together in one screen (instead of having to make a new spreadsheet each morning) has saved me a ton of time. The data explorer is super-easy to flip through and I’ve even started making real-time queries directly from the dashboard settings screen; this has definitely saved me some time. Noisy in here today so I’m getting lost easily, but yes – the customization is great and as long as you’re tracking either numbers or graphs based on your needs, they don’t make you use only one layout.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

The P.L.T.V. Model stuff took me way too long to figure out. And like, there isn’t an obvious place to start, you sorta just mess around until something clicks and also, the benchmark setup is okay, but I think it could be 2 fewer steps. Petty complaint, but the default colors on all the graphs are awful, and I end up changing them all the time. Support answers very quickly, which is good, however - sometimes the response is “go check the Docs”, and the Docs… are a lot.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had all of our marketing data scattered across multiple locations and none of us were looking at the same number, which made our meetings a disaster. Now we have all of the information in one location, and the sales team and the marketing team are at least fighting over the same numbers, which is a victory. Automating the Dashboards means I am not building the same reports every week.

  ### 6. GoodData.AI Helped Us To Simplified Analytics with Conversational Ease

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aslam H. | IT Support Tier ll, Internet, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2026

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

Tools that I fancy and loved to use is the AI-driven semantic layer and conversational query tools of GoodData.AI. They are incredibly well executed, making it easy for non-technical users to interact with the system without having to learn complicated report builders. You can simply type a normal question, like 'what were our top-performing regions last quarter?' and the system instantly builds the correct chart. This feature has made my work incredibly easy and saves my time, guaranteeing accuracy across the board by posting answers directly from predefined metric rules. There’s no worry about the system creating broken reports, and it's really easy, allowing anyone to use the software. Additionally, connecting the platform to our data was incredibly fast with the setup assistant securely linking to our database and helping us establish our baseline metric definitions in just a day.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

I think the learning curve for managing more advanced multitenant workspace architecture can get pretty time-consuming. While the front end user experience is beautifully simple, configuring parent-child data access rules and deploying changes as code via the extension requires a lot of heavy manual lifting from a data engineer. They really need to streamline the back end configuration tools so managing complex environments is more visual and less tedious.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GoodData.AI stops the deluge of custom SQL requests, offering a secure self-service playground. It embeds smart analytics and self-service dashboards in our app, letting clients create reports and queries without leaving the platform.

  ### 7. GoodData.AI: Empowering Data Management with Some Setup Challenges

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laszlan A. | HR Support 1, Internet, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 08, 2026

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

My experience with the agent builder environment and the semantic layer in GoodData.AI is very helpful; it's been a lifesaver for our platform administration. The AI hub allows us to spin up specific analytic assistants with tailored skills, connect them to our unstructured data stores, and lock down permission tiers so users see only their specific content they are legally allowed to access. This makes my work easier as it removes the anxiety over AI hallucination because the agents pull their answers directly from our predefined semantic logic, providing 100% accurate insights to our clients. Furthermore, the setup process for GoodData.AI was straightforward, with the system modeling our initial schema and data hierarchy within a day, allowing us to get our first functional dashboard prototypes live ahead of schedule.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

I don't like that the process for configuring more advanced multilayered workspace architecture can get incredibly time-consuming. While the no-code tools are perfect for everyday business users, setting up a parent-child best relationship or managing analytics configuration via the Visual Studio Code extension comes with a really steep learning curve. They need to streamline the back-end configuration tools so managing complex multi-tenant environments doesn't require so much heavy manual lifting from data engineers.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use GoodData.AI to manage embedded analytics, solve individual customer report reading, and centralize our metrics. It allows clients direct interaction with data, delivers accurate insights, and eases my work by minimizing AI errors.

  ### 8. GoodData.AI Is Excellent In Streamlined Reporting, Improved Forecasting Yet Lengthy Setup

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danial I. | Human Resource Assistant 2, Internet, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

It is really impressive how the forecasting capability built into GoodData.AI's dashboard. It's become something our operations team relies on for monthly planning. Instead of manually pulling historical data into Excel and building trends models, the platform provides automatic projections based on existing patterns. While it's not always perfect, it offers a solid starting point that used to take half a day to produce. This feature has saved me time, allowing me to focus on more useful tasks. Additionally, the drag-and-drop dashboard setup is genuinely assistive and speeds up the process once the data layer is ready. It helps set up quickly provided the data layer is correctly configured, making the initial data layer definition crucial.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

I don't like that the implementation time GoodData.AI gave us during the sales process was significantly off. We were told it would take three or four weeks to go live, but it took closer to four months before we had something comfortable sharing with the wider business. The team was helpful throughout, but the gap between what was promised and what actually happened created unnecessary pressure.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GoodData.AI centralized our data definitions, resolving debates about numbers' accuracy, improving data usage. We access live numbers without requests, and forecasting tools cut manual trend modeling time in half, benefiting our monthly planning.

  ### 9. GoodData.AI Helped To Revolutionized Our Reporting with Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Suhaila I. | Sales Assistant Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2026

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

What I really loves is that GoodData.AI's React SDK is something our front-end teams specifically enjoy. Embedding dashboards into our product feels like dropping in a component, which is better than integrating a foreign system. Its look and feel match our product closely enough that clients genuinely assume it's in-house. The AI assistant for natural language queries has also started changing how our less technical clients interact with their data. Instead of navigating chat, they just type a question and get an answer immediately. This shift in how people access data has reduced support queries we get about how to read reports. Additionally, I appreciate that the GoodData.AI support team was responsive throughout the setup process, which made a difference when things were not behaving as expected.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

I think the documentation for advanced features does not keep up with the platform. When our developer tries something less common, they often end up raising a support ticket because the documentation stopped short of covering the edge cases. More depth in the documentation would save a lot of back and forth. Finding skilled data developers is also harder than finding people who know Power BI or Tableau. When we need to bring in a contractor for a short project, the hiring search took longer than expected because the pool is just smaller.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GoodData.AI helped us ship analytics without burdening our engineers, manage dashboards independently, reduce cloud costs with caching, and change client data interaction with its AI assistant, reducing support queries.

  ### 10. Streamlined Reporting with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Félix G. | Sales Manager, Building Materials, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2026

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

I love how GoodData.AI turns raw CRM exports and CSV chaos into useful views for my team. Now, pipeline conversations are grounded in consistent numbers instead of different versions of the truth. I appreciate the visualizations for making trends easier to explain to leadership, and reps can see their performance without custom weekly files. The dashboard replaces messy CRM exports and scattered spreadsheets, saving me hours of manual reporting every week. I enjoy the speed of pulling a meaningful view of my pipeline without needing the data team. The variety of chart types is great for showing forecasts, regional splits, or rep performance, making it easier to adapt to different conversations. The self-service features, like adjusting charts or adding filters myself, make my work easier and save me from waiting for the data team.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

The initial setup has rough edges, as getting data sources connected took longer than expected and recording new metrics feels heavier than it should. I've also encountered occasional bugs, and sometimes dashboards load slowly or filters don't apply correctly, which slows things down, especially during a live meeting. The mobile experience needs work, native CRM integrations could be deeper, and a natural-language query option would save me from building every view by hand.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GoodData.AI replaces messy CRM exports with a single dashboard, saving me hours weekly. It unifies pipeline views, making trend explanations easier. The self-service allows instant chart adjustments, enhancing weekly reviews and quick mid-meeting insights without data team dependency.

  ### 11. GoodData.AI Help To Transformative Analytics with Minor Hiccups

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wenzel M. | IT Manager Assistant 2, Internet, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2026

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

I really relied on the source wizard , it is very important and valuable. It's worth mentioning how connecting a new data source and getting it ready for the dashboard is much less painful than with previous tools we used. Our analysts can set up a new source themselves without needing engineering to step in for every new connection. The process is straightforward, easy to control, and takes less time to set up.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

The KPI chart option needs some improvement. They are limited compared to the rest of the visualization toolkit. When you want to display a single headline metric with some context around it, the available format feels basic and the customization options are thin. We have ended up using workarounds for some of our executive dashboards.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With GoodData.AI, our teams can answer questions through a self-service dashboard, reducing reliance on us. It solved version control issues by managing dashboards via CI/CD pipeline, making reporting more trustworthy and enabling easy tracking, auditing, and rollback of changes.

  ### 12. Strong Headless BI Platform, But You Need The Right Team Behind It

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ikhlab H. | Editor Assistant E3, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2026

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

Tools that I like from GoodData.AI is the data lineage visualization. It's a feature I didn't realize I needed until I started using it. When a number looks wrong in a dashboard, I can trace that specific metric all the way back through the transformation layer to the raw source data. This facility used to take hours of digging through code and documentation, but now it takes just a few clicks, allowing me to see exactly where numbers come from and quickly identify if something upstream is causing an issue. It helps me to spot incorrect values much faster.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

It needs improvement with the SQL-based data modeling interface. It's slow during early exploration, especially when testing a new data relationship before committing it to the formal semantic layer. The process feels heavier than it needs to be. A proper sandbox environment for testing data joints before they go live would speed things up considerably during the prototyping stage.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GoodData.AI solved our metrics inconsistency problem across client environments by letting us define metrics calculations in one place, ensuring consistent dashboard numbers, and reducing hours of code digging to a few clicks.

  ### 13. It saved us from spinning up separate BI instances for every big client

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leone T. | Embedded analytics solutions architect, Professional Training & Coaching, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

The self-service analytics are a lifesaver, our marketing team no longer has to bother IT and instead can create their own dashboards, getting real-time campaign performance data into their hands in mere minutes. I'm particularly impressed by the embedded analytics capability - we've been able to embed live sales data into our customer portal so that our customers can see their own sales trends without having to log into a different system.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

This is where the more advanced visualization options can get difficult to customize while they are very powerful, they can be difficult to fine-tune using JSON or CSS, which isn't ideal when it comes to making quick changes. Pricing also increases dramatically beyond basic usage levels, so there's had to be a monitoring of user licenses to prevent any surprises.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to take 10+ hours per week to stitch together reports from Excel, SQL queries, and third party tools - by the time it reached leadership it was often stale. Everyone now sees the same live dashboards, and is making decisions based upon real-time trends, rather than last week's exports.

  ### 14. Efficient Insights with Minor Billing Hiccups

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pietro P. | Senior Sales Manager, Automotive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

I love how GoodData.AI surfaces pipeline anomalies in near real-time, allowing my team to quickly catch and address issues before they escalate. It provides the whole sales organization with a single source of truth, stopping any arguments over conflicting numbers during pipeline reviews. The data lineage visualization is a real lifesaver, helping me trace any dashboard figure back to its raw source effortlessly, which makes answering my VP's questions stress-free. The native BigQuery connector is fantastic, enabling us to have pipeline visualizations running within half an hour without any middleware or ETL issues. The setup was quite easy without any major problems.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

The billing and licensing situation leaves much to be desired. The line between per-workspace and per-user fees gets murky fast in the admin dashboard. I've had to ping our account rep more than once just to make sense of projected costs as we add headcount, which feels like it should be self-explanatory by now.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use GoodData.AI to surface pipeline anomalies fast and provide a single source of truth, reducing conflicts over data. The data lineage visualization saves me time during audits, and the BigQuery connector eases setup, eliminating ETL hassles.

  ### 15. Strong Data Modeling That Keeps Everyone on the Same Page

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Volha P. | QA Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2026

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

I really like how GoodData performs with its data-modeling. Once all the metrics have been correctly defined, everyone is working off the same information and no one is disputing whose spreadsheet is correct. I am often on the couch (half) watching TV and can easily find what I need, without it becoming an ordeal. We don't have to export manually and/or receive "Can you resend that file?" emails.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

The initial setup for GoodData is not for the faint of heart. Petty complaint: When something goes awry in the defining of a metric, the error message is usually so vague it may as well say, "Something is wrong - figure it out." Minor annoyance. Documentation varies based on what you want to do.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were having five different people build reports five different ways, and numbers never agreed upon during meetings. It also allows non-technical people to view their data without having to ask for help each and every time, thus greatly reducing back and forth communication. And for clients that require visibility into their own performance data, the ability to embed our reporting into their site eliminates us from having to create a new reporting solution for them.

  ### 16. GoodData.AI Help To Unified Data Source with Drill-Down Clarity

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hamzah A. | Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2026

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

Things that is the best is the drill down features on the dashboard of GoodData.AI. It's something our team genuinely uses in day-to-day work. We can start from high-level numbers and keep clicking deeper into the data without needing to build a separate report for each level. If our region's numbers look off, we can drill straight into the specifics, like which reps, product, or time period contributed to that. This feature is really valuable for us because it makes things clear, easy to search, and work with.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

We had some problem with slowdowns noticeably when working with large datasets. For smaller reports, it's fine, but when pulling a heavy report, you end up waiting longer than you should. A few times, we had to export raw data to another tool just to get the analysis done faster, which defeats the purpose a bit. The actual connection to our data source is not the hard part, but getting our data model and metrics defined correctly takes time so that everything makes sense across the platform. If you skip that step or rush it, the reports start giving inconsistent results, and tracking down the source of the problem takes forever. It takes at least three or four weeks before your team is fully comfortable using it as a day-to-day tool.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GoodData.AI consolidates our data into a single source of truth, reducing discrepancies. It builds dashboards everyone can filter, saving our analyst from repetitive requests, and freeing her for in-depth analysis.

  ### 17. GoodData AI: Powerful BI Tool with Steep Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nacsaj I. | Human Resource Exec 2, Internet, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2026

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

I really enjoy using GoodData.AI's semantic layer because it sets it apart from simpler BI tools. You define metrics and business logic once, and every dashboard across every client environment pulls from that same definition, ensuring consistency. This is especially important when dealing with multiple client accounts at scale, as no team calculates revenue differently from another. The AI smart search feature has been surprisingly useful; our internal analyst can type questions in plain language and pull up the right dashboard without having to hunt through folders. I also appreciate the well-thought-out multi-tenancy setup. Each client gets their own isolated environment, but we manage everything from a single backend, which keeps operational overhead manageable.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

The initial learning curve is steep, especially if your team isn't already comfortable with the modeling concept. Getting the semantic layer set up correctly on the first try takes a real effort, and rushing it can lead to issues with metrics definitions later. Pricing also isn't the friendliest for smaller teams; it's clearly designed for mid-sized ones. Honestly, the setup takes time. The API-first architecture is flexible, but that flexibility means making more decisions upfront. Plan for a proper implementation phase, not a quick onboarding. Our dev team spent a few weeks getting the data models right and connecting our data warehouse before anything was visible. Once the groundwork was done, rolling out new dashboards became faster. It's not a platform you hand to a nontechnical person and ask them to configure from scratch.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GoodData.AI reduces time on custom report requests, letting clients slice data themselves via embedded dashboards, and decreases our inbound report requests.

  ### 18. Streamlined Analytics with GoodData.AI, Best Decision Ever

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jorge M. | Senior security analyst, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

It is really impressive that the analytics code workflow with VS Code and GitHub integration; it's been incredible and valuable for us. We treat our reporting structure like actual software code, allowing our development team to write data models, use version control through GitHub, and deploy dashboard updates across hundreds of separate client workspaces simultaneously using automated scripts instead of manually clicking around a visual interface.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

What the app needs is improvement in how it handles changes in the database. If a database engineer renames or drops a data column in our underlying cloud data warehouse, the platform instantly deletes any downstream metric formulas or chats connected to that field, rather than flagging them with a broken warning status. They need to add an alert state that lets us manually remap change fields instead of completely deleting our work.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GoodData.AI eliminates our custom report developer bottleneck by allowing clients to create complex dashboards without risking our core database. It powers our analytic portal, serving as our reporting layer, enabling subscribers to track usage metrics and productivity data efficiently.

  ### 19. Empowered Data Visualization with GoodData.AI Is Easy and Reliable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kazam I. | Human Resource Assistant ll, Internet, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

I really happy with my experience using the AI-powered flex query assistant in GoodData.AI because it's a standout feature. It has simplified my work, allowing nontechnical stakeholders to build their own complex data visualizations using natural language prompts. This significantly reduces the number of report requests hitting our data team's queue, giving me more free time. It's also really reliable for our business to sustain. Additionally, our analytics integration was a highlight during setup, as we can manage our entire dashboard using the same version control and CICD pipelines as our main software product. This makes the initial rollout predictable, auditable, and easy to roll back if needed.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

Some technical improvement that I think they need to do is the SQL based data modeling interface. It can feel a bit complex for rapid prototyping. I would love to see more drag and drop sandbox environment for testing new data joints before committing them to the formal semantic layer. This would speed up our initial exploration pace.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GoodData.AI solves metrics inconsistency with its headless BI architecture, centralizing data logic in a semantic layer, ensuring uniform conversion rate calculations across apps, PDFs, and integrations.

  ### 20. GoodData.AI : Efficient Fraud Detection with Impressive Data Lineage

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muaaz H. | Customer Support Agent Tier ll, Environmental Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

My Experience with the data lineage visualization very impressive. It has simplified my work by allowing me to trace any specific metric back through the entire transformation layer to the raw sources. This is essential for providing a clear audit trail during regulatory reviews. I like it because for the audit trail, I don't have to spend more than twenty hours a day making sure that the record and audit tally with the data. Setting up the native Google BigQuery connector is incredibly efficient. We were able to point the platform at our existing data lake and start generating complex visualizations within thirty minutes without needing to configure any middleware or external ETL tools.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

I don't like the billing and licensing transparency. They could be much clearer. It can be difficult to project cost when scaling, as the distinction between per workspace and per user fee isn't always intuitive in the administrative dashboard, making our budget forecasting a bit of a guessing game.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use GoodData.AI to monitor financial activity in real time, catching anomalies within minutes. It improves our fraud detection and allows our risk team to act quickly, preventing significant losses.

  ### 21. GoofData.AI: Solid Analytics Tool with a Steep Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ishak Y. | Local Sales Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

I am happy like how GoodData.AI provides tools for analytics that give me a massive advantage. It makes my work easy because I can treat our dashboards and data models like software. I can version control them in git and deploy updates through our standard CICD pipeline. The integration of analytics perfectly syncs with our main application releases, which is incredibly helpful.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

The learning curve for MAQL is a big step for team members who are used to standard SQL. I would also love to see better in-use tracking for data assets, as it's currently difficult to tell which specific metrics are being used by which embedded tenants, making it risky to prune our data model.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GoodData.AI solves the hallucination problem seen in generic AI by grounding it in our semantic layer. It allows end users to ask questions in natural language and get real-time visualizations without building custom queries, improving business reporting.

  ### 22. GoodData has streamlined Data Prep but pricing is still an issue

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Donnie M. | Chief Revenue Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2026

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

The actual reason we stayed using GoodData was because of the Drag and Drop Workflow Builder; you plug in tools (like Legos) onto a canvas and even non-coding personnel can build and run their own workflows without bothering Engineering personnel. I had some non-technical personnel train on it in under a couple of weeks and they were able to do ETL Jobs independently which really surprised me.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

Performance slows down significantly when dealing with very large datasets, because it loads into memory instead of processing in-place, therefore, if you do not have sufficient hardware, you will notice it. There is no version control built-in, which in today's world, is frankly unbelievable; Collaborating on Workflows feels like it is stuck in 2012. Minor pet peeve, but annoying nonetheless: it does not allow for Notepad or Word Files to be used as input; you need to reformat the file prior to even starting.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to using GoodData, our data preparation process was manual work in Excel and custom SQL scripts that took us hours every week and caused errors every time we modified something. GoodData replaced this process with reusable, automated workflows that perform the same cleaning, blending and transformations on a scheduled basis without requiring anyone to sit at a computer manually performing these functions.

  ### 23. Automated Insights & Cost Control for Efficient Operations Is A Great Tools By GoodData.AI

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Izfar H. | Marketing Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2026

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

I am Happy howGoodData.AI has automated my weeks. The automated Slack and email digest engine makes everything clear and easy. Instead of forcing executives to log into another platform, I can set up a schedule that automatically broadcasts targeted high-level performance snapshots into specific team Slack channels every Monday morning, so I don't have to do it manually. Everything is launched automatically by the software.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

I think they have a design capability limitation because the chat widget styling facility is somehow quite restrictive. While the default chat looks clean, trying to modify specific access levels and apply custom room gradients or adjust padding for unique display is unnecessarily locked down compared to the legacy visualization.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GoodData.AI stopped our query cost explosion, keeping warehouse computing bills flat. It automates Slack and email digests, making everything easy. I can schedule automated performance snapshots to teams without manual effort.

  ### 24. Well-Structured Data and Rich Visualizations in GoodData

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kendrick N. | Technical Team Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2026

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

This platform lets us view all data analyses in one place, and the database is well structured and easy to understand. It also offers a wide range of visualization options, so we can take advantage of many useful GoodData features.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

There should be a better way to view connections, since some of the more advanced BI capabilities don’t feel very robust. The educational resources, like tutorials, could also be improved to make learning easier. Overall, there’s still room for stronger visualization options and a more polished experience in these areas.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The data is genuinely accessible across all departments, and it has integrated well with our other platforms. It addresses our data analysis challenges by enabling quick data storage. It also helps us build compelling narratives through dashboards, and we use GoodData to embed and integrate analytics directly into our platform.

  ### 25. Easier way to organize and present company performance

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark F. | Insights Analyst, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 12, 2026

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

What I love is it enhances my communication of results throughout the company. I can also deliver formatted dashboards pointing out major points, rather than using spreadsheets. I can customize what I see to different teams by the number of features which makes things relevant. This has enabled my work to be more effective, as individuals will be more dependent on the data that I present.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

One negative thing I have observed is that, developing more detailed dashboards in GoodData may be time consuming. Some rigs are more demanding and can be difficult to make quick adjustments. This impacts my job whenever I am required to act quickly to business demands. It may also cause delays as multiple requests are processed simultaneously.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The largest issue GoodData resolves on my behalf is the lack of organization of data provided to me by various sources. I would spend a lot of time doing preparations and combination of information manually. All this is now displayed in templates. This allows me to work more quickly and insight oriented rather than preparation-oriented.

  ### 26. Offering individual and safe analytics to all of our clients

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Javier H. | Analytics Engineer, Chemicals, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2026

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

The strength of GoodData is in its strong data integration features, which enables us to easily get data of different sources. I find its built-in analytics especially appealing; we can add our own dashboards to our apps and have end-users access data without leaving our platform. This offers a customized, branded experience to our clients, which is priceless to their self-service requirements.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

The first installation needs a lot of technical skills. Report generation can be a slow process with very big datasets sometimes which can affect on instant decisions. The user interface, though practical, is not necessarily the most user-friendly one to non-technical members of the team.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GoodData has helped us resolve our issue of fragmented data. Previously, our vital business information was spread across a myriad of systems and manual exports and consolidation in excel sheets were a painful experience that resulted in a dated insight. It now brings all this into real-time, interactive dashboards. This is advantageous to us in that it gives us one source of truth, enables the teams to make informed decisions within a short time, and this can greatly enhance their operational efficiency and market responsiveness.

  ### 27. Building and customizing powerful, interactive dashboards for our business users is very fast

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Admir M. | Data insights manager, Internet, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2026

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

The inbuilt analytics of GoodData are a revolution. We adore interactive dashboards being embedded in customer portal and providing clients with self-service insights. Its sophisticated data modeling also allows us to model some complex metrics to fit well in different business units. I like the possibility to design very customized reports. This actually gives our users actionable information where it is most required without having to keep on requesting our team.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

The only drawback of GoodData that is practically feasible is the learning curve, particularly when non-technical users are getting into custom metrics or the analytical language. Although the dashboard creation interface is powerful, it is not always the most user-friendly, and it may involve too many clicks to make some quick changes. In addition, loading of very large and complex datasets may be at times slowed down. It is quite strong, yet it needs some dedication to master it completely.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The issue of slow, manual data sharing has been completely resolved by GoodData. Our clients and internal teams have always demanded custom reports before, which kept the analysts occupied hours of the week. Today, all people have access to self-service real-time dashboards that fit their requirements. This has changed the nature of data accessibility where insights are instant and decisions are made at all levels. Our team can now afford to do more in-depth analysis, not necessarily report generation.

  ### 28. Brings scattered information together for clearer business visibility

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Armado M. | Revenue operations manager, Newspapers, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

The key features of GoodData that I like are the possibility to centralize information and present it in a convenient way when the data come in many different sources. With the integration of it with Salesforce and Sheets, I will be able to handle data in a systematic manner. Its visualization, dashboard, and automated alerts capabilities are quite convenient. It enables me to move swiftly in response to the tendencies, maintains the alignment of my staff, and eliminates the stress of handling disjointed information.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

In my experience, the software is not necessarily easy to use when it comes to the set up of exact dashboards. Personalizing of the visualizations and filters may require additional time, which may affect the productivity. Although it has a broad range of features, sometimes it may need additional effort and attention to use them effectively to create customized reporting.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GoodData assists in the consolidation of data across different platforms into the easy to understand dashboards. I am able to monitor key indicators, identify trends and share information with ease. This is of advantage to my work in that it minimizes errors, accelerates decision making, and keeps the team updated. It is also useful to my colleagues as it forms a coherent picture of data that all people can rely on.

  ### 29. Seamless Database Integration with Powerful, Customizable Reporting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Toby S. | System Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2026

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

This tool integrates seamlessly with a variety of databases and delivers a wealth of information drawn from the data. It also makes it easy to extract and visualize data in different ways, and what I appreciate most is the extensive report customization it offers. On top of that, the user interface is simple, clean, and intuitive.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

I think it’s the perfect platform for managing everything in one place. It’s very efficient for handling large amounts of data, and overall it makes staying organized much easier. Honestly, I haven’t found anything negative so far.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This product is very efficient for managing our reports and offers plenty of options to fit our needs. It has helped us build an analytics module for our clients, and I’ve also used it to create custom reports. Overall, it gives us a variety of perspectives on the data, which makes analysis clearer and more useful.

  ### 30. A solution which teams understand store performance during planning

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erminia C. | Online retail optimization manager, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2026

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

What I like the most in GoodData is that it enhances business outcomes visibility within our online retailing business. With platform review, we can present straightforward pictures when we look at the results of campaigns and leadership teams have an easy time reading them. I also enjoy relating the knowledge derived in other systems such as Salesforce and Google sheets such that our marketing and sales teams can communicate about the same performance perspective.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

A limitation that I have realized about GoodData is that it can be limiting at times to modify existing dashboards, when the business needs a different one. We often change the manner in which we package the campaign results in our e-commerce department and sometimes even updating those layouts takes more time than we anticipated.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In my day to day work as a supporter of an online retail team, the issue that GoodData addresses is the common one: when teams were meeting, they used various spreadsheets and produced inconsistent findings. Taking the common dashboards everyone can now view the same information when comparing promotions or performance of the stores. This has simplified communication with marketing and management.

  ### 31. Easier to understand operational results

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephane P. | Strategic planning coordinator, Real Estate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2026

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

The best thing about it I like is the ability to have a glimpse of the performance trends among different sections of the business. It simplifies the process of determining what should be attended to and utilize resources in the most efficient manner. Connecting it to our CRM and accounting systems, I will be able to view the relationship between various metrics.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

The aspect I do not like about GoodData is that it may be difficult and time-consuming to create new dashboards and data views when the unusual cases arise. Although, the insights are valuable when ready, they have to be carefully made to avoid making mistakes.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Major issue that GoodData addresses is uniting business data of various sources in a manner that it can be comprehended easily. This has enhanced my work since I do not spend much time balancing reports and I am able to put information into action. My team is also a beneficiary of this as we all know what is occurring, therefore, organize our activities and concentrate on the most important goals.

  ### 32. Clear visibility into customer trends and campaign results, good tools for us

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Saradha T. | Insights Manager, Internet, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2026

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

The most desirable aspect of GoodData is that it enables data to be comprehensible in various systems. We apply it along with Salesforce and our online sales tools to be able to monitor the trends and the results in a single place. I like the fact that I can create a report on each team and I can see the exact report that the team requires. That transparency allows us to strategize campaigns, track progress and pass information effectively between the marketing, sales and product unit.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

One of the weaknesses I have observed with GoodData is that it is not always easy to develop sophisticated dashboards. When we require customized visualisations to use in campaigns, it might require a number of attempts to have it in the way we desire. This may slow down reporting in the busy seasons. The platform itself is powerful, and the additional time is required to set it up, which occasionally postpones the availability of insights to make decisions.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GoodData eliminates the issue of distributed data systems. Our team had to manually extract the numbers of Salesforce, e-commerce platforms, and spreadsheets before it could be used, which occurred to be time-consuming. At this point, everything is integrated in the form of dashboards and is simple to use to track performances and identify trends.

  ### 33. Easy Web Access and Highly Customizable Reports

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ricky S. | Sales Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2026

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

Web access is incredibly easy to use, and the data is genuinely accessible across all departments. It provides a wide range of helpful dashboard options, and I really appreciate how smoothly it adapts to our methodology. What I like most, though, is just how customizable the reports are.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

The default display options aren’t very varied, and some of the self-service dashboard features feel limited. On top of that, responses can sometimes be delayed.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’ve used it to analyze metrics, and it helps me make business decisions faster. It’s also helped our team better understand the data by making it easy to visualize key metrics. Overall, it provides a simple, straightforward way to explore and visualize data.

  ### 34. Consolidating data makes decision making faster and more accurate

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Reina O. | Strategic Finance Analysis, Health, Wellness and Fitness, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2026

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

The feature I like the most about GoodData is that it enables our team to view important business metrics in a single location without having to use several systems. I apply it often in financial transactions to monitor performance of the budget, expenses and KPIs by the departments. The trend can be easily comprehended since the number of features of dashboards, visualization and segmentation is small. We also integrate it with SAP to ensure that financial data is updated automatically and hence a lot of time in manual reconciliation is saved.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

The first weakness I have identified about GoodData is that some of their advanced dashboards are time-consuming to set up. This occasionally makes insight delivery to our other departments delay in our finance and operations teams. The platform has many features, which makes it possible to learn through trial and error what specific KPI configuration would be best.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GoodData addresses the issue of dispersed businesses data by giving a single perspective of such data to make decisions. We used to use different spreadsheets in order to rely on the finance and operations departments, which led to inconsistencies before usage. We are now applying it regularly with regard to tracking budgets, operational performance and campaign results.

  ### 35. Easy-to-Use Dashboards with Seamless Data Source Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ajay D. | Sales Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

I love how easy it is to understand and how smoothly it integrates with various data sources. It offers real-time activity tracking and makes it simple to connect different databases. I also appreciate being able to explore the data directly within the dashboards, which makes it easier to dig into what’s happening without switching tools.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

Sometimes the data doesn’t refresh automatically, and adding filters can be a little tricky. It can also take a while to load at times, which slows things down.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me create dashboards tailored to my needs and makes it easy to connect to key data sources. It addresses my data analysis challenges and simplifies how I present the results. It also saves me time by automating reports.

  ### 36. Well-Designed Dashboard with Custom Plugins and AI Agents That Speed Development

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex T. | Senior Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

I really like that it’s well-designed and lets you create custom plugins for the dashboard. I also appreciate that its toolset includes AI agents that I can work with every day, which significantly speeds up development.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

While unit testing and automated testing are both flexible, setting up the full testing workflow can still be time-consuming and take a fair amount of effort upfront.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has been a great, modern platform for us. We were looking for a BI solution with integrated, scalable AI, and GoodData is an excellent choice. It’s useful and beneficial for solving problems, and overall the experience has been mostly positive.

  ### 37. It delivers data visibility inside our SaaS platforms

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Janusz T. | Customer Insights Specialist, Education Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2026

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

The most significant difference is that it liberates our engineering team of developing internal data pages. It is frequently used in the planning process. Its comprehensive feature list in relation to access controls and presentation profiles enable the process of making decisions in a structured manner. Planning was required to implement the same, but there was customer support when required. This has led to us spending more time in product innovation as opposed to building data infrastructure on our own.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

In my opinion, the most significant limitation is the reliance on structured setup in the case of expanding the usage. The stages of implementation should be planned, and one can expect unforeseen changes that add to the workload of engineers. The high number of features is potent but introduces administrative headaches. Guiding customer support is not immediate, and sophisticated cases are resolved. Such issues have affected our release date and compelled us to allocate resources in different ways.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GoodData will address the dilemma of providing a structured data view to our customers without the need to create everything in house. Our engineering team had spent much time developing dashboards before using it. The frequency of use is currently high in terms of product and sales teams since we have information available in our platform. Governance is improved by the number of features surrounding controlled data access. This has lessened the development pressure and enhanced our credibility among the clients who require professional presentation of data.

  ### 38. Powerful, Flexible Tool with a Great GUI and Real-Time Performance Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tearlac C. | System Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2026

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

It’s a very powerful tool with an attractive graphical user interface. It provides real-time, graphical performance analysis, and I really appreciate the flexibility of its user roles as well as its support for multiple data sources. I also like the intuitive drag-and-drop designer; overall, it has been an excellent addition to our application.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

Performance may need some tuning when working with large datasets, since a few features feel limited in that context. It would also be helpful to have additional tools for managing user authentication.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The software lets us generate these reports in an intuitive way, and we’ve implemented it on numerous occasions. It’s easy to use for both administrators and end users, and it helps resolve data recovery issues. It also makes it simpler to create information and share it with others.

  ### 39. Our reliable platform for connecting CRM and database insights

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nela M. | Digital marketing manager, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2026

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

My favorite thing about GoodData is that it is integrated with tools that we already have and, in particular, Salesforce and our internal database. I use it in my day-to-day practices as an e-commerce marketer to generate sales and performance of the campaigns in a single platform. It has an impressive assortment of dashboard building capabilities. The IT had to be coordinated with in order to implement it but once that was implemented we began using it daily since it had become part of our routine reporting.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

The disadvantage I identify with GoodData is that it is complex when setting up especially when connecting a number of systems. The IT team was required to take a considerable amount of time to create data models. When the structures of the databases change, it does not change immediately, and that influences the frequency of relying on it to make fast decisions. The platform has numerous features and this at times complicate new users hence slowing down productivity during the initial weeks.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GoodData solves the problem of unintegrated reporting. Calculation of metrics was different in various teams. We also created single dashboards that all believe in after implementation. The quantity of features enables us to set up definite data rules, and the connection with Salesforce keeps updated figures. This uniformity enhances coordination and minimizes discussions among the units in regard to figures. Consequently, my daily work process becomes streamlined and meetings have been more action-oriented rather than data verifying.

  ### 40. Streamlined Metrics with Easy Integration

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Moaffaq M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

I like that GoodData.AI offers safe, real stable analytics without having to build everything from scratch every time. The embeddable dashboards, APIs, and database are great because they allow our technical users to explore metrics directly on the screen. It provides a stable and straightforward platform for analytics.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

I like the type of editor, but it needs more development for mixed teams. Some security settings and menu options feel a bit hidden. It would be more practical if those areas were more clear and self-explanatory.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GoodData.AI solves my reporting problems by replacing Excel files and complex exports, providing a clean, single source of truth for metrics.

  ### 41. Effortless Analytics with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gemma S.

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

I use GoodData.AI for running analytical queries, visualizing, and generating automatic reports on sales, data, and ops metrics. I appreciate the analytical designer feature for quick drag and drop dashboard correction. The AI assistant for natural language helps with critiques, and I find the data interface useful. The implementation was straightforward and I found the setup process easy. The connectors could go live quickly with minimal effort, thanks to the out-of-the-box integration.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

I would like GoodData.AI to improve mobile responsiveness for on-the-go dashboards and add more integration for predictive analytics.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use GoodData.AI for running analytical queries, visualizing data, business intelligence, and generating automatic sales and ops metrics reports.

  ### 42. Trustworthy solution for daily operations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martin M. | Corporate financial analyst, Outsourcing/Offshoring, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2026

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

The positive aspect of GoodData that I like most is that it helps build confidence in decision making. Being aware of the fact that the numbers will not change overnight makes me talk to the teams better. I apply it on a regular basis, and it has minimized tension during reviews and executive meetings. I do not need to defend figures since I can be more effective by concentrating on the explanation of implications, which has led to my better performance at work.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

What I dislike about GoodData is that change can be really sluggish in cases where business questions change. Even minor changes can involve additional procedures, which influences my performance when it is essential to meet a strict deadline. This can at times translate to take longer than anticipated before updates are made to the business particularly when the leadership requires fast clarification in situations where it is needed most.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The issue of discrepancy of numbers between teams is resolved by GoodData. It brings about uniformity that is advantageous to my work since it minimizes debates and reworks. My colleagues use less time to query figures and do more of what they are told. In the daily life, meetings are briefer, decisions are clearer and I no longer have to go out of my way to get answers to the discrepancies in the results given by various sources.

  ### 47. Empowered Our Data Team with Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nick C.

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2026

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

I like GoodData's flexibility. We can create metrics that reference other metrics, and it handles all the SQL for us. Creating reports is easy in the UI, but we can also make changes via code when needed, so we're not forced into one way of doing things. The metrics language MAQL, although it has a bit of a learning curve, is quite powerful once you get the hang of it. It allows us to build metrics upon metrics without writing SQL, as it is all handled by the data model. Switching to GoodData has allowed the Data team to create or update reports in hours or minutes instead of weeks or months, which was the case with our in-house platform. Plus, the initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

While the data model is generally good, I think it can be inflexible when you have a complicated data model. You can't add a custom field to a table without changing the entire table to a SQL definition, for example.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GoodData lets us provide customer analytics seamlessly and empowers the data team to autonomously create and update reports quickly. It's flexible in metric creation, handles SQL automatically, and supports software engineering best practices.

  ### 48. It's a reliable platform for business data projects

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marco T. | Analytics Manager, Telecommunications, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2026

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

The factor that I like best about GoodData is its flexibility once it has been established. I am using it on a daily basis to create dashboards that integrate with our CRM and SQL database and it fits well in our existing stack. The features count also allows me to make sales and ops views without changing tools throughout the day. It spares time in projects that require much implementation and integrating with other software is not imposed, but rather practical.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

The biggest negative aspect to me is that certain features are too complicated to use with smaller requests. It may be more work than I expected when I am in a hurry and require changing clothes, and this influences my working process. The implementation adjustments are at times demanding of additional effort, which slows down the process during the busy weeks. Their usage is frequent, and thus these minor problems contribute to the cumulative effect and may affect productivity in case of deadlines.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The primary role of GoodData is to bring the data that is dispersed together in a single location so that we no longer have to have teams quarrelling over numbers. In the past, we were using spreadsheets and manual updates which consumed hours. My day to day activities are more directed and team work is easier. It works to the advantage of the business as it minimizes errors and allows all to be on the same line of reference which has enhanced decision making and also reduced redundancy.

  ### 49. Flexible, Powerful, and Easy to Customize for Rapid Dashboard Prototyping

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Olusegun E. | Senior Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2026

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

The platform is very flexible and easily customize, allowing for the simple creation of dashboards and reports. I appreciate its ease of use for quickly developing dashboards, it facilitates rapid prototyping. The software is very powerful in terms of functionality.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

I’d like to see more contextual help for the fields, as more features of that type are needed. I’d also like to have additional integration options, since it sometimes feels like certain features are missing.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The product is regularly updated with new features, and we generate reports for our customer base. It's used to generate reports in various applications and has allowed us to quickly integrate analytics into our product. It has also enabled us to deliver large amounts of data to our clients.

  ### 50. Robust Integrations and Highly Customizable Reporting for Large Datasets

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Flavio P. | Data Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2026

**What do you like best about GoodData.AI?**

Large datasets are handled well, and I appreciate the ability to combine multiple data sources. Its robust integration capabilities make it ideal for incorporating analytics, and it offers a high level of customization. Reports are highly customizable, and it allows data access across various applications.

**What do you dislike about GoodData.AI?**

The user interface could be better and more modern, it's a bit slow when running large reports. We've had difficulty integrating the analytics tools.

**What problems is GoodData.AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It simplifies how we filter our data and helps us get through most of our daily reviews. It saves a lot of time when we’re building complex dashboards, which in turn support our quality control and evaluation work. It has also helped us explore different ways to integrate analytics into our system.
