The metrics language MAQL, although it has a bit of a learning curve, is quite powerful once you get the hang of it. It allows us to build metrics upon metrics without writing SQL, as it is all handled by the data model. Switching to GoodData has allowed the Data team to create or update reports in hours or minutes instead of weeks or months, which was the case with our in-house platform.
