GoLinks fixes that by making your most important links easy to access through a memorable, short and customised URL! **What do you dislike about GoLinks?** If a GoLink is already used, it'd be great if you could send a request via GoLinks to the owner to see if you can take over ownership e.g. if theirs is no longer in use. Not a big deal - you can see who owns it and can just message them elsewhere :) **What problems is GoLinks solving and how is that benefiting you?** In meetings, it's so helpful to ask attendees to visit go/xyz rather than (a) telling them a long URL (b) sending the link in the Zoom chat which disappears as soon as the meeting is over (c) sending the link somewhere else that gets attendees to actually leave the meeting to find it! ### 27. Doesn't sound like much, but do the math. GoLinks removes this annoyance. It really doesn't matter what the URL of the portal is, or whether it contains your company name or not, you can just use a GoLink to connect to it. It's amazingly easy to set up and works much better than setting up a ton of redirects. **What do you dislike about GoLinks?** the only thing I really dislike is that you need to install an extension to Chrome to use GoLinks. Which is a problem that can be resolved as a company, you just need to make sure the extension is installed as pat of your standard PC disk image. **What problems is GoLinks solving and how is that benefiting you?** Redirects, complex URLs, trying to "find" a portal somewhere on your intranet, all of those items are removed. It even makes it easier for me to organize my own bookmarks. ### 28. I found this is way more useful than bitly, tinyurl which forces me to keep track of the URLs manually, which mostly has hexadecimal characters - hence difficult to memorize. Also I don't have to bookmark as much with golinks. **What do you dislike about GoLinks?** I wish it had much robust autocomplete in chrome browser or a better lookup. I also really like the feature where if you mistype a GoLink it does a fuzzy search and shows you the closest one. **What do you dislike about GoLinks?** I honestly don't have too much to complain about. I also don't pay for it, my company does, so idk how their pricing works but I can attest to getting a good 5-10$ worth of value out a month. **What problems is GoLinks solving and how is that benefiting you?** Just makes it easier to store and share bookmarks around the company. It's super easy to communicate with stakeholders where dashboards are found and it makes it easier for everyone to remember where they are afterwards. **What do you dislike about GoLinks?** There really isn't anything I dislike about the product. One enhancement that might be nice would be to have the GoLink show up alongside a hyperlink in the browser history or recently opened links - not sure if that's even possible and is really a minor ask. **What problems is GoLinks solving and how is that benefiting you?** The biggest problem it's solving for us is the exact thing I mentioned above - it really helps us manage a large number of data dashboards, documentation, and reporting links. ### 35. Some of our favorite GoLinks are go/jira, go/holidays, go/allhands, go/survey, go/confluence, etc. It's great that you can create links for Google documents AND websites, and it's so much better than creating 100 bookmarks in Chrome. We create the links and distribute them to our company and it's easy for them to use. Once created, you don't really have to tweak it and it gets you important statistics. **What problems is GoLinks solving and how is that benefiting you?** GoLinks is letting us know if the websites we have are being used and how effective they are. We often linked them to documentation and this lets us know if it's being used or if we can archive it.
