Goldmine is an incredibly snappy and easily understood piece of software. It provides essential information for a prospect's contact details, such as name, email, phone number, etc. It allows users, such as a recruiter like myself, to very easily create leads based on a prospect's information, schedule calls for them at any point in time, take notes based on our interactions, and easily save and organize that data for future use. Goldmine is extremely functional, which makes sense given its age and number of updates. Its autosave function is extremely useful, especially when comparing it to other CRMs such as SugarSell, which are far newer and yet lack this basic, quality of life feature. Goldmine is hardly flashy, but its user interface is extremely simple to understand, quick to load and function, and more than functional for categorizing data on prospects. Goldmine is not web-based, so it can go down and be completely inaccessible even if your internet connection is completely stable. Additionally, while the software itself is snappy, the initial loading process when opening it can take around a minute or so. However, the pros far outweigh the cons with Goldmine.
