"Goldcast's Interactive Features and Cost-Saving Benefits for Your Business"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Goldcast?

I like Goldcast's ease of use and has a lot of settings and features that are constantly being updated and improved, as well as the platform allows you to conduct all stages of the event on one platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Goldcast?

I like everything, just there are some details that Goldcast needs to set up. For example, There is no way to template events on Goldcast. The buttons for going on stage and watching live look the same, which can lead to random errors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great product, easy to use and integrate"
5/5
What do you like best about Goldcast?

The integration was very easy to set up with Marketo, their support team is extremely helpful and willing to solve problems that come up. The user interface is also great, and we have received better feedback from webinar registrants using GC than when using previous competitors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Goldcast?

There isn't much to dislike with GC. One improvement they could make would be a native launchpoint integration with Marketo, but even without it the integration & data transfer is smooth and never causes many issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"I've tried many event platforms and GOLDCAST is the one that wins, over and over."
5/5
What do you like best about Goldcast?

I love the platform experience. Both in the backend but even for our attendees that come. There is a variety of options from just a webinar to a 3-day event. Lots of customizations, branding options and they are CONSTANTLY updating and improving. I know first hand that they take our feedback personally and implement it quickly. Support for every webinar is also amazing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Goldcast?

I do wish the library area was a little different. Currently, you put all your assets in one section. It's in their roadmap to have the library section by event. The emails are a love/hate. I wish I could customize the emails per event, vs. having to use the templates. I also don't love their blur and virtual background features need some work. I'm glad they have it, it's just not as sharp as i'd like it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Goldcast?

Customer support is incredible. Between the live chat and our customer success manager, someone is always there to help if and when needed. The platform is intuitive (example: setting up the calendar invite) is so much easier than other platforms I've used in the past. They have amazing features such as tech support and even an event check-list where a Goldcast member will review your set up and let you know if it's compelete or if there are any missing items. The integration/connected apps piece is also an easy set up for us to Marketo. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Goldcast?

Not a dislike, more of a feature wish. I wish the email templates could be edited within your event set up. You can change the subject line, but not the copy of the email template itself-you have to get out of the event tab and go into the library and email tab to make those changes. "Intuitive, comprehensive, seamless event management"
5/5
What do you like best about Goldcast?

Goldcast integrates every part of hosting an event into one easy-to-use and well-designed platform. We used Goldcast for everything from registration, email reminders, attendee management, day-of-event coordination, hosting, presenting, and attendee follow-up – Goldcast has thought of everything. We especially liked that we could customize everything to reflect our branding. The layout of the platform on the presentation side was sleek and beautifully designed; the admin side was straightforward and easy to navigate. The backstage setup was incredibly helpful for coordinating among 10+ speakers. The media library was key for a smooth run of show, since we had videos, decks, pdfs, and images. Finally, the team at Goldcast who helped us with our event was also a huge pleasure to work with – friendly, helpful, timely, and energetic. We can’t say enough about how much we like Goldcast! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Goldcast?

There wasn’t anything we disliked but a few suggestions for features that could have helped us manage the speaker and attendee side. We realized that attendees were sharing each other’s event sign-in links and without realizing they were attempting to enter the event as the wrong person. Maybe an additional tooltip that warns them who they are logging in as could help (Goldcast has the name of the person filled in when they sign in to the event, so that should tip off the attendee already, but just in case they miss that). We also noted that the button backstage to go live on stage and the one for watch live are similar in color and made it easy for a speaker to click the wrong one by accident. "Seamless and engaging for speakers and audience alike"
5/5
What do you like best about Goldcast?

The speaker experience is top notch - having a virtual back stage that features live video in addition to speaker chat made the facilitation of the event very smooth. It was easy to coordinate and switch between backstage and live stage for presenters. The user experience was intuitive and frankly, fun to use! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Goldcast?

Very little to dislike about the platform! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A modern, intuitive platform to run virtual events, with data easily synced to your CRM - top choice"
5/5
What do you like best about Goldcast?

We ran dozens of live and simu-live events on Goldcast, both medium (100-200 attendees) and large (1500+ attendees). The stability of this platform is impressive! Let's start from the beginning - the Goldcast team was extremely helpful in driving our platform adoption (documentation, training, etc.); they are also always available for any questions, and solutions were delivered very quickly. We were able to easily onboard the whole marketing and GTM team to use the platform without an issue.

The next one is definitely innovation. There were lots of features on our wish list, and during the past year, we saw the majority being implemented. That doesn't happen with other classic event platforms. This really comforted us to renew the subscription after 1 year of use.

Of course, functionality. It is very easy to set up your events in Goldcast, ensure consistent branding of all events, and sync data to your CRM (HubSpot for us). It's intuitive to use the platform for live events: it's logical, sort of mimicking the offline events — you have Backstage, Going Live functionalities. Engagement options are numerous (both text and video Q&A, chat with reactions, polls, etc.) You even got break rooms as of recent. For simu-live events, it's even easier — all you do is upload the video and it runs as live, while you can focus on Live Q&A with your audience.

Plus, you can create your own email templates for reminder emails straight in Goldcast - easy & quick. You can set up the email flow (i.e. 7 days, 1 day, 1 hour, 5 min before the event) - and it will ensure your registrants actually get to your event. Another platform we used before did not allow 5-minute reminders (only 1 hour in advance), but Goldcast allows it, and this way we're always hitting a higher attendance rate (over 50% for sure).

And one more - the platform is available in lots of languages, (at least the most we need), so you can easily support regional event needs, too.

For our organization, it really is a reliable choice of a stable, yet modern and innovative solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Goldcast?

Being a customer for now almost 1.5 years, I can be sure to say there aren't many downsides. Most of the technical questions were solved quickly every time. I'd say, we'd love more visibility on registration sources from within Goldcast. We do have Google Analytics integration with Goldcast (a big plus) but would be good to deliver source info to Goldcast itself and sync that to the CRM. But it's not a deal-breaker and it's probably somewhere in their roadmap, knowing how progressive they are. And the last one - I send speaker links manually to my team, so would be great if that part is automated, too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A great product with a mission in the virtual industry"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Goldcast?

I don't have long-term experience using Goldcast, but as long as I have used and seen the different features of the tool, I must say all of them are well up to the mark. The most favorite aspect of Goldcast is getting the detailed analytics of the event at the end and also the feature of inbuilt webcasting of the event does the job great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Goldcast?

The creation of branding for the organization during virtual event setup is a little bit tricky. The overall functions and tools available with Goldcast are impressive and works perfectly for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
