Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) 9/4/2024 "Goldcast Is Continually Raising the Bar for Event Software" 5/5 What do you like best about Goldcast? Goldcast customer support gets an A+++ from me! They're extremely responsive and will continue to proivde daily updates until problems get fixed. I think it's rare to find a company that proactively provides updates on problems. I often have to keep hunting down answers with other software companies. I also love the platform itself and how smooth the user experience is for attendees and speakers. I continually receive positive feedback from speakers saying that it was a breeze and they enjoyed all of the engagement features within the platform. I could go on and on about Goldcast, but I'll end with highlighting their innovation. We signed a year contract in 2023 and signed another multi-year agreement in 2024. Throughout the time I have been a Goldcast customer I have seen so much positive change and innovation on the platform. They're also really great at providing updates and making sure customers have the resources they need when changes are happening. We've had some issues from time to time with integrations, but the Goldcast customer support team was able to help us resolve them. I will also add that sometimes settings can be in weird places, so it takes a little figuring out to remember where indivdual things are located. What problems is Goldcast solving and how is that benefiting you? We've been able to consolidate a lot of our martech stack down because of Goldcast's added services. We no longer need a platform to edit and host a gated webinar and an AI video editor on top of our webinar hosting platform. We've gone from using three different pieces of technology to only one! Goldcast is easy to use. It's customizable, so I can make my events match the brand and experience I want to create for my customers. The support is great. We have a dedicated rep who is very helpful and listens to our thoughts and feedback. The reporting is great and has everything we need to continue to learn from our events and make them better. The product and CSM team! I truly feel like the voice of the customer is their top priority. Their ability to listen and bring new features to market is incredible. Goldcast has a comprehensive set of features that enhance both the presenter and attendee experience. The platform offers seamless integration with important tools like Marketo, SFDC, and Slack, which simplifies the process of managing webinar logistics and follow-ups. Additionally, Goldcast's interface makes it easy to navigate through different sections. Overall, Goldcast provides a robust and user-friendly platform for hosting engaging and interactive webinars. I love that Goldcast's backend is extremely user-friendly. We can easily standup and repeat webinar templates without any support from the Goldcast team. While the customer support is great, we rarely need it. I appreciate that the Goldcast team continues to check-in with us and sends us monthly updates about product features. Our webinar attendees also have positive feedback about the platform experience. The attendees especially like the live Q&A funtion and the polls. It helps to make webinars interactive! You can upload the slides ahead of time so that all speakers can move the slides but they have to be static slides and can't have video. Goldcast allows us to stream to thousands of people in our target market and see the anayltics behind each person's Goldcast experience. We can see how long they stayed in the session, which resoureces they clicked on, what their poll answers were, which gives us more information on our audience and what they are looking for. The ease of use of Goldcast from an attendee, organizer, and speaker perspective has been hugely beneficial for us. Since moving to Goldcast, we've seen an increase in our live attendee conversion and more engagement via chat, Q&A, and polls. I also love all of the AI features being built into the platform. After an event, we're able to pull summaries, top insights, and more directly from the speakers with the click of a button. We do feel like there are minor improvements to backstage that could improve the speaker experience - for example, noise filter for speakers, rich speaker notes. We've also had a couple instances where the live attendee count hasn't properly updated during a live event. But again, these are minor and not show-stopping concerns. As someone who works on at least a webinar a month, the ease of use and automated event features saves me time and headache - allowing me to spend more time on what matters (content, aud dev, etc). My personal favorite are the reminder emails that go out one hour before and five minutes before an event. People are busy, and it's easy for them to forget what they've got going on the last thing I have on my mind are the reminder emails as I'm getting ready to launch the webinar. I don't see many negatives at the moment besides the price point. We are currently negotiating for year two, and it's been tough getting under a $ threshold so it didn't have to go through an entire chain of approvals - which we explained to our account rep. So now due to the account manager not bringing down the cost to under 20K, we are now having to jump through hoops within our org to get it approved with a potential for not getting it to the approval phase. So I think the renewal process has been the worst part of goldcast so far. There needs to be more tiers so smaller organizations can actually pay for the product. We trialed almost every major virtual events tool and what we love about Goldcast is how seamlessly everything works out-of-the-box. The templates and event setup is so easy to use, yet so customizable. The setup and implementation was very straightforward and the customer support and account management has always been top-notch. Their live chat is very helpful when you need answers quick and the team is always receptive to product feedback and new feature requests. I am also impressed by how quickly they add new state-of-the-art features. Whether its AI tools to create social-friendly snippets, or it's multi-event functionality we have been thoroughly impressed with Goldcast's ability to scale with our partner marketing activities including most recently our in-person events. I have yet to see another software that makes in-person event check-in SO EASY. The tool also easily integrates with Hubspot and Salesforce giving us all the data we need on our audience and how they engage with our events. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
