"Simply great!"
4.5/5
What do you like best about GoLand?

Been using GoLand for over 6 months now and it's simply great. I have been using IntelliJ before this for around 2 years and it's very similarr and debugging in GoLand, is similar to IntelliJ. All Jetbrain products just seem great. I presonally prefer GoLand over free open source goland editors like VScode. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GoLand?

It's a bit on the expensive side and a little high on memory usage as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Generally good IDE for go lang"
4.5/5
What do you like best about GoLand?

Most of the short cuts are the same as other IntelliJ products. It works properly and has regular updates with more features. Command line is in editor. It is easy to search and find where objects are used and created. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GoLand?

Some short cuts, especially Find and Open are different between Gogland and InteliJIDEA. It's a bit annoying but can load own shortcuts. Would like darker themes or able to upload own themes easier. Would like new features to be shown off. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The best Golang editor"
5/5
What do you like best about GoLand?

I really like the IDE developed by Jetbrains, so it could not be different for this one. I especially like how it is well integrated with the terminal shell, with git and other vcs software. Moreover, Goland is also very able to handle golang packages dependencies, which for a beginner could be a bit difficult, as it works different from other languages like Java. Finally, also the auto completion features are very good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GoLand?

Despite Goland being a very powerful IDE; it still lacks all the features its big brother, Intellij IDEA, has. In fact, one could simply install the golang plugin for IntelliJ and has the same set of features for golang as in Goland. On ther other side, it is also true that whenever one does not need full set of features, using Golang is still a good choice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"GoLand For Go Langauge"
4.5/5
What do you like best about GoLand?

Auto Completion for Go Langauge, Popup and Code Generation and Highlighting everything you expect from IDE. - Debugging inside IDE, which no other Go IDE provides - Same experience as JetBrains, so don't need to learn its features again - Easy and intuitive to use Auto Completion for Go Langauge, Popup and Code Generation and Highlighting everything you expect from IDE. In IDE debugging which currently no one else provides No need to learn or configure anything else if you already use JetBrains It was still in beta when I used it but even then it just worked and I saw myself switching to other windows less frequently and therefore got less distracted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GoLand?

Sometimes it can start using too much memory and become a bit slow. Confusing to navigate, slow indexing sometimes - Hard setting extra options that I might want, like Atom easily shows add-ons for a feature but GoLand requires you to set them in the file hard to find, hard to decide - Sometimes changes don't refresh automatically, so I sit scratching head why my latest log statement isn't printing It was still in beta when i was using it so not many features had been rolled out but I am sure thats not the case anymore. "Really good GoLang IDE but needs improvement"
4.5/5
What do you like best about GoLand?

It's as easy to use as Pycharm or IDEA. Syntax highlighting in really good. Includes an integrated terminal and debugger. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GoLand?

It's not on the same level as Pycharm or IntelliJ IDEA. I think it's because it's relatively new and still needs to polish some areas but still, it's the best overall Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Go IDE with the jetbrains plugin ecosystem"
5/5
What do you like best about GoLand?

The indexing of the entire project makes jumping between files quick, streamlining debugging and development. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GoLand?

The docker integration could use some improvement. It is there, but I find it easier to just use the terminal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The best GO IDE out there"
5/5
What do you like best about GoLand?

Fantastic integration with APIs, the main reason to use GOLang at all is to use REST Architecture at coding, and the guys at Jetbrains did a fantastic job in making it easier for developers to access the resources without much effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GoLand?

I'm not a fan of go but I must admit that the IDE makes less painful to code in GOLang Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Go Development Made Easy"
4.5/5
What do you like best about GoLand?

I like that GoLand makes it really easy to jump into Go development. You don't have to worry about setting all the proper environment variables, getting a debugger etc. You download a single application and it manages all of those pieces for you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GoLand?

Because this is is an all in one solution, bundled versions can lag a little behind publicly available releases. A new version of Go might be available, but you can't use it until GoLand is updated to include it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"GoLand is great for projects involving Go, Html, Css and JavaScript"
5/5
What do you like best about GoLand?

I like best GoLand's code complete feature that generates the go code and other code you're looking for as you type it. I also like having a project directory and terminal connected to the same window for code writing. What also great is if you click a key go word the source code for it appears in a separate window. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GoLand?

I dislike how you can not drag files outside of the project directory elsewhere on the computer Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
