The Pycharm community plugin adds support for python in goland, after this, it provides the best of both workloads use the same IDE for python + golang development, on top of that it has excellent support for database, VCS/Git operations like stash, compare, push, rebase, etc Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Goland is best because it has smaller syntax, easy to learn, We can use different style in syntax. Goland is faster because it is complied into machine code. API's are complied in seconds. What do you dislike about GoLand? You won't know until after the programme has been compiled. Need to more libraries, currently has less. The problems solved by the goland is mainly the concurrent garbage collector, Has got strong library, It has got good architecture, It's more productivity, It's efficient and binnary compiling helps faster execution. In my suggestion, the app uses a lot of system resources and it can ask the user to turn off features which one doesn't use quite often based on user's usage pattern. It gives recommendation, create strut from json, it is a pleasure to use this ide. We can easily create function of receiver type or simple it will show suggestion. We can assign data to nested type of struct. By simply using alt + enter it will create your nested struct automatically. The debugger in goland is the absolute best. I've been using it as my primary golang ide for long I don't think there is anything I dislike other than it being slow and heavy on system resources at times, it also takes a lot of time to start the debugger. Goland has debugger built in natively unlike other code editors which need additional extensions like godelv, using cntrl+ shift+ alt +L we can quickly oragnise the code.
