After years of using this hosting, I guess the only thing that is somewhat good is the support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about GoDaddy WordPress Hosting? Just about everything. The hosting is very bad for WordPress sites and when WP updated and required the new PHP, GoDaddy did not update their servers, they just put a note in your hosting for a website that you need to manually update by choosing. This caused many issues on all sites because they auto updated WordPress to a version that their servers could not handle. When we manually updated the server, one site was completely wiped out (all database erased) and we tried reverting to a previous backup with no luck. When we called customer service they said it was up and working (they must have done something while on the phone). When we had an issue with another site, they told us that it would cost us money for them to fix it. And on top of all that, all WordPress sites on this hosting are very slow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering GoDaddy WordPress Hosting: Do not use GoDaddy to host WordPress sites. There are much better options out there and for the same price you can get hosting that has less downtime and much faster. Do your research. It is a waste to get bad hosting and have to switch again.
