So, if you are thinking that you need more than just QR codes (say for your super expensive multi thousand dollar equipment) you could use a GPS tracker for real time updates. GoCodes requires and Internet connection and works great using Wi-Fi, cellular data or even satellite comms if that is available. We're working on a work offline option which should help too in situations where your Internet connection is limited. You mentioned having to take too many pictures of the same thing. The reason for this is your company has created a policy requiring the photos and has set up GoCodes to work in this way. I suggest you talk to your manager to see if they can adjust those settings for you.
