Superior user platform and ease of navigation

What do you dislike about Gnowbe?

Restrictive in terms of the number of word count and the size of image

It will be good if Gnowbe can offer digital assessment as a form of game like Kahoot! and Quizizz within the app. It will greatly enhanced the learning experience.

While curating micro-learning programme, the app will also return to last attempted programmes which makes it difficult to reference other mirco-learning programme during the curation process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We are seeing the newcomers are able to assimilate into the company's culture and work processes alot quicker than before.

The security officers are able to use Gnowbe to refer to the house rules or standing orders if required.

What do you like best about Gnowbe?

I like that it's easy to use. It is possible to design both on my mobile phone and on my laptop. More importantly, it already provides a structure to create programmes and the UI helps to give all courses on Gnowbe a sense of consistency.

The various actions available to programme curators nudges instructional designers to keep their lessons engaging for learners.

I also like the various additional features that Gnowbe has to boost learner engagement. These features include sending automated emails with additional references (for curious learners), providing a leaderboard (for competitive learners), having a group forum (for social learners), allowing compliments to be peppered throughout the course (so we can encourage learners on their learning journey). What do you dislike about Gnowbe?

"Actual Learning that Yields Actual Results"

What do you like best about Gnowbe?

Most online learning platforms are "check off" learning tools. Users can complete it whether or not they actually learned or retained anything from it. Gnowbe is different. It's interactive learning that combines academic knowledge with hand's on learning. Users can take videos and photos to demonstrate their knowledge. Our employees have found Gnowbe training to be fun, and I've seen a huge improvement in our ability to pass tests, provide excellent service, and retain people due to our change in training. The Gnowbe team is also incredibly responsive to suggestions and very fast at resolving issues that do come about, which is important to me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gnowbe?

There's not much that I don't like about the Gnowbe platform. I've had issues with the reporting function, but those have been resolved and improved upon. Curating is easy. I'd like an auto-generated certificate when completed (currently you need to click on the action), but that's pretty minor! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The world had changed in an instant, and opportunities now exist to deliver content to users cell phones in a manner that was not possible only a few years ago. Gnowbe had the foresight to position itself for this new normal, by creating a mobile-first tool that enhances a the users experience; hence, they are a great companion for a business that wishes to move to this mode of delivering learning. We are solving the problems of democratising Theological Education and Missional Leadership for the faith-based sector. For hundreds of years, this training has not changed much. By collaborating with Gnowbe, we are offering organisations and individuals cost-effective solutions for training. Additionally, we are able to help measure behaviour change (something that has been hard to measure in traditional face to face learning) thanks to Gnowbes analytics. What do you like best about Gnowbe?

The platform incorporates the "human" element as well as technical side of program delivery. It inspires readers/students/bloggers to "connect the dots" between their message and what the reader/student/viewer needs and wants to know. The app is straight-forward and easy to use. What do you dislike about Gnowbe?

While not a dislike, I would say that information has to be presented in smaller "chunks" for readers. There is a way to create a set that will allow the presenter to make deeper points. For those who are literal-minded, deeper discussions at their finite levels are often over discussed. Recommendations to others considering Gnowbe:

It would be possible to integrate Gnowbe with another software/platforms. We just haven't gotten to that stage yet since our current project is just over 1 year old. What problems is Gnowbe solving and how is that benefiting you?

Gnowbe is helping to solve an issue that plaques our country and world. It provides the capacity to allow those in rural areas to attain education who may not have the benefit of total connectivity. With this platform, we can offer educational courses that a student can take and have that information immediately upload to their academic account without the student missing a beat because they may not have access to the internet. Example: A student is studying to become a Captain on an offshore vessel. He studies on his "down time" while offshore. The rig does not have internet for general use. This student can work his way through his program and once he returns to land, stop at a McDonalds (free WiFi) and Gnowbe will automatically upload his contact to his school account. That student is now on task with other students who have taken traditional "classroom" training and he/she has continued to provide an income for their family or themselves while still meeting the rotation schedule for work. This platform will redefine education as we know it. Imagine the kids who have to stay home because of COVID. With Gnowbe, course content could be available to work on while at home (again, without WiFi), and then uploaded by going to a WiFi hotspot or connecting to an internet access point at library. Other than the fact that the founder of the company lives in Singapore so she's not readily available during our normal business hours, there isn't anything I would criticize Gnowbe about. They've been completely intentional with our programs and business model and have worked with us and empowered us throughout the entire process. And just to be clear, the founder of the company goes above and beyond when connecting with her customers so her location has no impact on her business relationships.
