I love that Gmelius resides within Google Workspace. The last thing my team needs is another account to log into each day. Gmelius seamlessly adds so much to our gmail inbox. The shared inboxes and labels with ticketing, notes and google calendar integration is terrific. Setting up meetings internally or with clients/customers is a simple click or two right within the inbox space. But if I have to chose the best feature for my lawfirm, its the KanBan boards. We use them to manage our client cases/matters like projects, as well as in many other ways. Our team productivity and communications have improved immensely in the first weeks of deploying Gmelius. **What do you dislike about Gmelius?** Not much to dislike, but Gmelius is a relatively young application and they are adding new functionality and integrations all the time that will only make it better. I am excited to take advantage of new features and functions as they roll out. And with their new public API, there will no doubt be many cool integrations coming out in the public space. **What problems is Gmelius solving and how is that benefiting you?** Many law firms had a fast and hard pivot to creating remote team workflows. Mine was no different. Gmelius has made it easier for us to see what our teammates are doing, to make sure that there are no communications gaps and the visual project(case) management using KanBan board feature is a godsend for our firm. We can watch the progression of the case, see upcoming deadlines, confirm that tasks are assigned to proper team members and deliver an excellent client experience by always be "on top of" their case and communicating with the client at key points. ### 6. It's a bit more difficult to design your template using Gmelius but I do like that it has the ability for me to paste in an HTML code. **Recommendations to others considering Gmelius:** There's a ton of different functionalities when exploring Gmelius. You must try it within your own environment for a couple of days to really get a feel of it. You will be surprised how useful it can be, don't be shy to reach out to your support as they are always willing to help!! **What problems is Gmelius solving and how is that benefiting you?** When a colleague is out of the office, we're able to toggle as admin of their email and can reply back as them. In most cases, it has resulted in us in resolving an issue quickly for a customer without having to wait for our colleague to get back into the office. ### 8. We had an issue where one team member would respond to an incoming email but if they didn't CC the alias, no one else knew the action was done. I do wish there was a reminder feature. If something has been assigned to you for X time period, it pings you in some manner. I also really like the template function since that way I get to automate some of my more mass email batches. I never forget an email anymore and it saves me lots of time! **What do you dislike about Gmelius?** I dislike that when you get a reminder for an email that it is a seperate email. This makes my inbox very cluttered and kind of a mess. I also dislike that it has a lot of features that I don't use or that I use in other kinds of software. I do get the feeling that i'm paying for function that I am not using and would like to see that the functions you use are more tailored towards the user. So the more functions you use the more the sof6tware costs (not packages) **Recommendations to others considering Gmelius:** Do you lose jobs because you forget to something when the other persons doesn't reply? Gmelius will help you keep an eye on those emails by bringing them back in your inbox when you still didn;t receive a reply after a day, week or enything else. **What problems is Gmelius solving and how is that benefiting you?** I solve the problem of having to type every single email 10 times with the template option. Plus I get to fix the fact that when I have send an email I forget it since it is returned to my inbox when I don't get a reply back in a week or so. ### 24. I believe that for a ticketing system it is the main thing it has to offer.. it is very important that the development activities they do are not published during working hours because they block the use and often confuse the users who are working **Recommendations to others considering Gmelius:** I have no particular recommendations, ours is a small company but we work about 350/400 requests a day. for us it is an excellent solution. We use Chrome **What problems is Gmelius solving and how is that benefiting you?** we manage to better manage our work emails as if it were a ticket. this gives us a great advantage in the professional management of the client. now no email is lost. Perhaps it would also be useful for the system to assign a number to the emails exactly as if it were a real ticket. the chat that is supplied is very useful for communicating between colleagues, this has eliminated the obligation for us to have to rely on an external service such as Whats app ### 25. The shared labels really helps us to get things sorted easier. I personally have not tried the other features yet but the tool seems to have a lot that can be very useful when working in an organization. The support team was helpful and accommodating. They also try to reach out when you are a new user and give you guidance on how to use the tool. It is really helpful especially when working in an organization and you have a lot of projects that you are working with, it helps organize them and allows all the teammates in an organization have access to the important data that everyone needs to be aware of. **What do you dislike about Gmelius?** There are just some minor glitches here and there but it was resolved anyhow so still good. It is nothing that cannot be improved I believe. Though the resolution provided did not really help, we just tried to redo a few things and it worked as a workaround. **Recommendations to others considering Gmelius:** Good tool. Their support team is also accomodating. **What problems is Gmelius solving and how is that benefiting you?** Collaborating with my teammates and helps us get a common picture on a project. It is really helpful especially when working in an organization and you have a lot of projects that you are working with, it helps organize them and allows all the teammates in an organization have access to the important data that everyone needs to be aware of. ### 27. A real asset when it comes to teamwork The board function allows us to associate several emails with a precise project and to follow up and to manage the project in a clean and professional way The "follow up" feature is also great : send a price proposal to a customer and never forget about it, just remember yourself your own email in 1 week or so. Even better : put a read tracker on it and "hot call" your customer when he re-openend your email even months later. We signed several offers that way :) **What do you dislike about Gmelius?** I have the impression that this plugin slows down the Gmail interface ; when i "compose new mails" the mail creation process is slower than before. Not very annoying but still... Also, the screen focus is not the "content window" when you create a new mail, forcing me to "click" on the main window when create a new email. That's only a detail, but it's annoying when you write a lot of emails in the row... **Recommendations to others considering Gmelius:** If you use "google for works" and are looking for a clean manage projects and to keep track of numerous emails as a team, this is a great tool. It allows me to track what is already done (call put on date X, missing Y etc). Notes can be searched which is also great. On some project managements, the "share label" and the "Board Function" allows a clean project flow. Also, it's a real asset to be able to track the reading of emails even months later because some tenders just need time to be signed and it's not easy to decide "when" to call a customer... the tool answers that need :) ### 28. Gmelius allows for variables and not just ones created by Gmelius but ones that the user can create as well. Assigning email is something we have started using more and more as well and that is much handier than I originally gave it credit. Gmelius has been instrumental in helping our team become much more efficient. I don't want to think of a time before Gmelius when I had a billion drafts because that was the only option for templates that you could quickly get out with little customization. This was also before I was introduced to Variables in templates and my world changed. I have been trying to find ways to use other features Gmelius offers as well such as campaigns or sequences. And I LOVE the tracking it allows us to know that our invoices have arrived and have been opened. The integration with Gmail is nice as well but that you can also go to a dashboard in a window to have a choice is very nice. The feature that we use every day without thinking about it is the rule for CCing, When this is set up you never have to worry about a team member forgetting to cc the team on an email (we do not use a shared Inbox currently we use Google groups for all team email address). That is a wonderful "set it and forget it" feature that we each use every day!!!! **What do you dislike about Gmelius?** I wish the integration with Gmail was a little more in-depth. I also wish that there were more examples of how I could use certain features. For example, our team is the Accounting Department, I would like to utilize as much as possible through Gmelius but I am not sure how I can use sequences or campaigns. Maybe examples of how a department like ours could utilize something that was not necessarily created for our department would be cool. **Recommendations to others considering Gmelius:** I think with the ability to test drive Gmelius that alone is AMAZING, you are given the chance to get your hands dirty with all the features. Once you try it you will not be disappointed and you will never want to be without it again, It makes team work environments so much better and more consistent. **What problems is Gmelius solving and how is that benefiting you?** For getting to CC the rest of the team was the #1 problem we originally got Gmelius for, Templates were and continue to be a lifesaver. Sharing a template that your team can use takes all the guesswork out of emails but still allows us to personalize the email with variables without eating up a lot of time. Shared labels is a newer feature we are starting to really use, I think assigning emails solved a big problem with time management for the overall team. We would sometimes have multiple people answering the same emails because we didn't know someone else was already working on it. You would have 2+ team members doing this multiple times a day and that was a huge time-waster for us. ### 29. I wish Gmelius could be used in other browsers besides Chrome and I also wished there was a mobile app. I think they are working on it, but I would love to see that soon. We are using this platform for more than a year and it really evolved from mainly Gmail extension to almost Communication Hub for other platforms, which include Slack, Trello, Zoom, Meet and thanks to API and soon Zapier almost all other any you like. When it comes to emails, Gmelius is in fact Sync Server, that can Sync emails across many separate Gmail accounts and solve this by using Labels and it works surprisingly good, with some very smal issues very occasionally. It has some built in automation you can use for emails, which I hope will be also extended, as well as mailing solutions. You can delegate emails, add notes to emails and notify certain users about this note. You can also use Kanban Boards that you can sync on the fly with Trello. I really like Gmelius University it helped us with on boarding new employees. It is very easy to get in touch with Gmelius Team (Intercom), and support is really fast and good. **What do you dislike about Gmelius?** Gmelius Chrome Plugin requires very decent PC configuration and eats significant PC resources, I mean you need at minimum 8GB RAM memory, preferably more, so we had to upgrade all users. There are sometimes problems with (lest than 1 per 1000 emails) single emails, that lost their sync across mail boxes (they status is 'closed' on some accounts, while not on others). With number of users it takes bit longer to wait for support than a year ago (but I understand that number of Users is increasing). But honestly nothing that would really stop me from recommending it. **Recommendations to others considering Gmelius:** Before you will move to Gmelius, take the Demo and ask all questions you may have, this will help you to move flawlessly if you decide to do so. **What problems is Gmelius solving and how is that benefiting you?** We manage to move to Gmelius shared email boxes from old style IMAP shared account with Thunderbird. The learning Curve for our team was high, but after a year they are quite satisfied with solution. We don't have any issues with communication now, we manage to integrate notes with Telegram, so each time someone was mentioned in a comment he gets notification directly on Telegram. In fact it helped us to improve in many areas, response time, delegating task and emails and so on. ### 40. I don't know of another service that offers as many options and remains integrated as fully. The Trello integration (in beta) is a great addition to the features as well since it adds two way instant syncing. Being able to comment on emails instead of replying/forwarding for internal discussions is a very welcome feature that I had searched for for many years. Using Gmelius to keep up with actionable emails is also something that I'm very pleased with. Being able to assign an email and see it's status has helped to keep us from letting things "fall through the cracks." The shared labels is also a big time saver since it automatically shares an email with whomever you have shared the label with when you add the email to a shared label. **What do you dislike about Gmelius?** One of the biggest pitfalls I have noticed with Gmelius is that the notifications don't stand out enough in Gmail itself. Many times coworkers won't notice when there is a new comment or assigned message. Sometimes the Gmail extension doesn't update when you share an email and so you have to refresh the whole Gmail window in order to see the options such as setting the status of the message. Another thing that happens is when you want to select multiple messages to perform an action on you have to select them before clicking to view any messages or else the action buttons disappear and won't reappear unless you refresh the Gmail window. One thing I don't like about the Trello integration (which is in beta) is the fact that attachments do not sync. **Recommendations to others considering Gmelius:** I highly recommend Gmelius to those looking for a way to better organize your communications under one system. The features already present are numerous and quite beneficial and additional features are added frequently enough to give added value throughout the time you will be using it. The notification system is a little lacking but once you get used to it it becomes much easier to notice when there are new items that need your attention. I haven't found another service that integrates with Gmail with quite as many useful features. **What problems is Gmelius solving and how is that benefiting you?** Gmelius allows us to share our emails instead of forwarding them to each other. This makes for much cleaner looking emails and allows the proper person to respond to an email in the first place. Being able to assign an email and see it's status has helped to keep us from letting things "fall through the cracks." The built-in sync to Trello (in beta) has also been a nice addition recently. Being able to put an email into a board within Gmail and have it instantly appear in Trello saves a lot of time. I haven't used the automations much but I can see where they could be nice to have things automatically assigned to someone when you move it from one status to another. ### 45.
