What do you like best about GMass?

I love GMass for its ease of use and simplicity, and the fact that it just works seamlessly. The software's ability to send mass emails efficiently is particularly valuable for my needs, such as informing all of my contacts about my new email. I am impressed with how well sending emails from a list works, and I think the email tracking feature is solid and reliable. Integration with Gmail adds to the convenience, and the switch from Mailchimp to GMass was motivated by its authenticity and the advantage of operating directly within Gmail. Overall, the initial setup was fairly easy, and I would rate it a 7 out of 10 in terms of ease. What do you dislike about GMass?

I find the onboarding process for GMass not entirely helpful, especially when it comes to acquiring emails for all my contacts. What do you like best about GMass?

I find GMass incredibly valuable for reaching out to multiple potential partners simultaneously, significantly enhancing my efficiency in communication. I am particularly impressed with the personalization capabilities that GMass offers, which I feel are often lacking in other mass email services. The feature enables me to maintain a personal touch in every email, crucial for maintaining strong relationships. Additionally, the analytics tools provided by GMass are outstanding—they allow me to track the number of clicks and opens on my emails and even identify the times at which they were accessed. This functionality helps me plan my future communication strategies more effectively. Furthermore, I appreciate the ease of use that GMass offers. What do you dislike about GMass?

I found the test email setup in GMass to be lacking. It didn't work as well as I would have liked because I couldn't see exactly what the recipient would receive. Additionally, although the initial setup process was okay, I wish it had been a bit more simplified. Despite this, looking back, it did accomplish what I hoped, so it's ultimately fine. What do you dislike about GMass?

One thing I noticed, and it’s worth mentioning for future users: if you schedule a campaign and later decide to make edits or stop it midway, GMass won’t apply those changes immediately. Instead, it finishes sending the current batch of 50 emails before applying the updates. For example, if 723 emails have already been sent and you edit the draft, the changes will take effect only after the 750th email is sent.

This isn’t a major issue, especially when sending thousands of emails — it’s just good to know in case you’re planning last-minute changes. As long as the campaign is actively sending, edits won’t stop it right away. But if it’s not currently firing, your changes will take effect without delay. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is GMass solving and how is that benefiting you?

GMass is solving one of the biggest challenges in email outreach — sending personalized, high-volume emails directly from Gmail without needing a separate platform. Traditionally, managing cold emails, follow-ups, and personalization required expensive and complex tools. GMass simplifies that by turning Gmail into a powerful outreach tool.

For me, this means:

I can run email campaigns at scale without leaving my inbox.

Personalizing emails for hundreds or thousands of recipients is effortless using Google Sheets integration.

I no longer worry about manually sending follow-ups — GMass automates the entire follow-up sequence, which saves me hours of work.

What do you like best about GMass?

I really enjoy using GMass, especially because it has made significant improvements in my email processing and client management for my real estate work. Makes sending mass emails for small businesses, startups, and organizations a breeze, from the comfort of your GMail browser window. Any user, from low-tech to amateur dev to more experienced dev can make powerful use of the feature set that GMass offers, for a fraction of the cost of a commercial mass-mail tool like Mailchimp. It is easy to integrate with Google Sheets, and easy to implement through the GMail extension and add-on. Maintaining an address list in Google Sheets was crucial for our organization. Online documentation is thorough, and the company provides multiple examples that should cover practically any use case that you are attempting to accomplish. Tech support is quick and efficient. What do you dislike about GMass?

This is not so much about GMass as it is about Google: You are limited to GMail's daily sending limits (500 for individual accounts; 2,000 for workspace).
