"The perfect solution to provide a shared and high available storage solution"
4.5/5
What do you like best about GlusterFS?

The best about this service is that you can build a shared storage solution without invest to mucho money, time and efforts and you will have high valuable benefits like:

- High availability

- Read/write balance

- Data striping

- Fault tolerant

Additional, just to say that works within several Linux distros like Centos, Debian, Ubuntu... (although Red Hat is the owner). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GlusterFS?

There is not anything specially disgusting about this service because the installation and up & running process is easy and fast.

Maybe, to understand how it works or what is the best configuration for your project/infrastructure could be the process which take more time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Used it to reliably move big files"
4/5
What do you like best about GlusterFS?

I liked the easiness of setup compared to solutions like CEPH, high reliability. GlusterFS really plugged in nicely in existing stack without any complications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GlusterFS?

Performance with small files, if you got like billions of small files - that's probably not the best way to do it, but other solutions are also suffering with them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"GlusterFS using Kubernetes as a persistent storage source."
4/5
What do you like best about GlusterFS?

The HA that GlusterFS provides is useful for ensuring that persistent storage is always available for stateful application running on Kubernetes. Ease of failover makes the user oblivious to changes to the storage source, making administration easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GlusterFS?

The complication in configuration and maintenance is a bit much for non technical users - this is where using a native NFS solution sounds better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
