I wish there was more streamlined & automated processes in order to request tests runs. Using webhooks or API calls to launch tests would help us be more efficient and remove the dependency to several manual processes.. We still aim at getting fewer irrelevant feedback from GAT, this is often caused by reporting known issues, misunderstandings about the product hehaviours or test cases, or some guideline not being fully respected. What problems is Global App Testing solving and how is that benefiting you? - Test case execution suring weekends help us gain time. 300+ tests are run on our releases and resuts are delivered by Monday moring, so we don't have to wait extra days to get Sanity Checks reports and an overall release health status on our releases. - Any critical issue will be detected over the weekend and we can start focusing on heir resolution as soon as Monday morning! - Exploratory Tests help us find some more exotic issues, happening only in some specific conditions like on some devices or OS versions. GAT is awesome. The ability to launch exploratory tests on new versions of our software to compliment our in house QA resources was invaluable, giving us confidence to ship to prod more regularly. We also found that GAT was able to find bugs we did'n't find in house due to the large array of devices and set ups the testers were testing on. We also had a few rounds of accessiblity testing carried out which was invaluable and gave us insights in to where we needed to make improvements. The testing platform used by customers leaves something to be desired (e.g. leaving comments) and we've had challenges with the communication from the testing manager in the past.
