**What do you like best about Gloat?**

The great thing about Gloat is the tool itself. Really user friendly, functional and it is great that Gloat´s team in continously updating and making it better on a monthly basis, they are really listening to the customers feedback.
But I would say the best thing is Gloats team - everyone is really proffesional and helpful - it is a pleasure to collaborate with them.
We are still in the early stages of the implementation but we have been enjoying working with our PM - Crispin, change management team, customer success, technical team etc.

**What do you dislike about Gloat?**

Cannot think ofmuch as of now. I am sure if the team was bigger the functionalities would be maybe updating faster.

**What problems is Gloat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Upskilling & reskilling of wokrforce, internal mobility, better internal talent pool, solving business challenges internally & better skills analytics and data.

Gloat's talent marketplace tool was one of the first on the market. It was designed with the employee in mind.

**What do you dislike about Gloat?**

We have struggled with the data made availablefor us to gain insights on our employee adoption and usage of the talent marketplace.

**What problems is Gloat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gloat is the single place our employees can go to find all types of development opportunities including postions, projects and mentors. We have amazing registration rates and solid MAU numbers so we know that they are interested in what the platform offers.

The skills management area of the platform is still quite new and therefore, my sense is that the market intelligence is not as strong as it could be. For a company to successfully use it, they need a strong career architecture and this could be made clearer.

**What do you like best about Gloat?**

Users find the onboarding process super easy.
Allowing our people to make their skills and aspirations visible, and allowing us to activate a wide range of development and career opportunities available to our people across the Group. 
Then, matching happens so quickly!

I have to also mention that our Customer Success Manager is pro-active, quick to provide feedback and superbly enthusiastic about the platform and gudes us on how to unlock different aspects.

**What do you dislike about Gloat?**

Unannounced and therefore unexpected system changes that changes the user journey, and requires our core team to make urgent changes to our approach, communications and training material - sometimes after changes have already been implemented in production (e.g. Closed mentoring "skills hack").

**What problems is Gloat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It creates visibility of a range of career and development opportunities - using AI for suggesting opportunities and candidates.
It creates a platform for our people to share their skills & experiences, as well as their aspirations, in one place.
It also allows our people to self navigate their developmment and career journeys, based on their own personalised goals.
It allows us to grow quality mentoring capability across the group.
It helps us to unlock capacity through project opportunties.
It allows our Talent Acquisition team the ability to discover candidates against Job Adverts - and gives them the ability to nudge skills-matched candidates about the opportunities, for which they might not have applied.
Ultimately this forms part of our retention strategy across the group.

It's AI, simply. The way Gloat has made it easier to bridge the demand-supply gap in an organization and with a strong portfolio of upcoming modules and features, it can easily become a "product of need" from a "product of want".

The platform meets our organizational objectives from a functionality and technical point of view.
The project implementation team was very attentive and go an extra mile to make things easier for us.
They are always improving the platform and keeping customers in the loop.

This allows employees to take ownership of their career development and helps organizations unlock the hidden potential of talent within their workforce. Additionally, I appreciate the logical and easy-to-use interface, the complete solution for employee development, and the professional and supportive Gloat team.

The amount of preparation work required at the start of the rollout to guarantee a sufficient number of projects and users. Additionally, keeping the marketplace in a state of healthy balance after launch requires a lot more work than was anticipated, including maintenance, training, and user interaction.

One of the main problems it addresses is the lack of visibility into available career opportunities within the company. Gloat's AI-based platform matches users with personalized open career opportunities in real time, making it easier for employees to explore and pursue new roles within the organization. This can benefit me by providing access to opportunities that I may not have been aware of, helping me to advance my career and reach my full potential.

Enabled me as a manager to find talent I wouldn't usually have access to. Easy to set up a project and to start seeing people apply. Really changed the way my team approached work as we started to look first at existing colleagues for help rather than hiring.

Figuring out what types of projects to post or how to break work apart so people can apply. Sometimes it's unclear if managers of employees who want to work on a project are supportive, so needed to talk to them at times to confirm.

The product is very straightforward & easy to use.  There's also a lot of flexible features that can be customized based on your org needs.  The Gloat team is very knowledgeable & professional, and provides excellent support. Even though they are a newer company, they have a lot of resources to help an org use their product. The product's feature set together work well to provide a complete and scalable solution for workplace development.

There's a ton of prep work involved at the beginning of the rollout phase to guarantee a sufficient number of projects and users. There's also a lot of work after launch than was anticipated including ongoing training & upkeep .

The usability of the platform itself; the functionality, APIs + data feeds available; partnership with change experts to provide guidance; providing feature requests to co-create the platform.  Truly open and honest interactions with the client team are refreshing.

Need more client-side config options; ability to link to HTML documents within the platform, more client-side control over messaging.

**Recommendations to others considering Gloat:**

Foster an open and honest relationship with them - they are a fantastic group to work with.  This is an emerging technology - but prepared to get some cutting edge functionality, but also be prepared to iterate your rollout and solutions with them.  This is not a "one and done" launch - it continues to consistently evolve and improve - and you'll need to prep your execs and employees for that.

Problems to be solved: employees provided feedback that they want more career development opportunities through mentors, learning, short-term projects and positions; people leaders need to move people with the right skills and experiences to the most important or urgent work quickly.  Within the first 6 months of having Gloat live, we've unlocked over 77K self-reported hours of mentoring and short-term projects on the platform...that's 8.8 years of work.

The end to end journey and user experience is very intuitive and engaging. The AI recommendations are very apt and relatable. The UI is very easy to use and free flowing.

The Opportunity Database takes time to load. UpSkill feature is not thorough enough. Gloat needs to make sure that all its features are tested thoroughly and deployed.

Inner Mobility has become seamless in my organization. A user gets visibility from a talent perspective and similarly, for an opportunity owner, the AI recommends candidates based on their desired roles and helps connect people.

**What do you like best about Gloat?**

Talent Marketplace creates a way to develop our employees at scale by using natural supply & demand in the organization of work that needs to get done and work that people want to do. In a time of burnout and limited bandwidth, Talent Marketplace also allows us to unlock extra capacity and access specific skillsets to ensure we can accomplish our key business priorities all while developing talent AND saving money. Talent Marketplace has also been a big unlock for us during a time of a lot of virtual working so employees can stay connected and don't have to feel like they need to wait around to be 'tapped' for a develomental opportunity, but can pursue their own developmental projects and networking/mentoring relationships.

**What do you dislike about Gloat?**

Nothing in particular - you do need to work hard on the front end of implementation to ensure the platform is stocked with a healthy supply of projects and users. Although the marketplace thrives on natural supply and demand, after launch it does require more maintenance, training, and engagement efforts than originally expected to ensure that healthy balance continues.

**Recommendations to others considering Gloat:**

This is a fantastic platform if you're willing to put the team and resources behind it to implement it correctly and effectively - this is a big change management effort that takes time, but the payoff is invaluable!

Handing the keys over to employees and allowing them to truly drive their own development and tehrefore their career. Also, with themes of burnout across the organization, our teams can now look to Talent Marketplace to unlock extra capacity.

Incredibly logical, easy to navigate product that has a high degree of flexibility depending on customer requirements. The Gloat team is highly professional, providing a polished approach to the customer. For a young company they have a vast amount of resources to support the implementation of the product with an organization. The suite of functionality offered by the product seamlessly blends to provide a holistic solution to workplace development.

There are three pillars that make Gloat the best solution provider for the internal Talent Market Place as compared to it's competitors

1. It's AI: The Projects, Positions and Mentorships that have been the long standing offering since inception have now been trained with enough data sets for the AI to make the best possible personalized recommendations. With the addition of the new Career Planning, which utilizes multiple data sets to suggest decently accurate Career Path's, the AI has evolved more in understanding not only the immediate next step but also the next 3-4 steps in an employee's career.
2. A Holistic Solution: With the inclusion of Learning Content the platform now boasts the 70/30/10 Model for Employee development. An end to end solution for Employee development
3. Intuitive UI: The user interface of Gloat is one of the best UI's in the market which makes the employee exerience seamless and intuitive

The one room for development is the Open API's, which was a setback for integrating the product with the other Enterprise applications, but gloat has made some major improvements by creating plug and play connectors for ATS, HCM's and some other integration use cases.

We started our partnership with Gloat to improve our Employee retention numbers but now the project has reached new heights of popularity  within the enterprise and is one of it's kind when it comes to creating a mindshift change to support an Open Talent Market culture .

It has now become a Go-to tool for employee's for their Development Journey.

**What do you like best about Gloat?**

Unleashing the potential of our people using an AI powered, digitally enhanced solution that is user friendly, effective, proven.  Gloat has taken the 2-sided marketplace to new heights and helped our organization develop and engage employees in new ways and deliver business results.  The platform is easily integrated into our systems and creates an unparalleled employee experience that allows us to work with #speed in delivering on the needs of our consumers and customers.  Gloat has a hands-on approach to implementation and has partnered effectively to help us not only launch the tool, but expand its reach to other parts of our organization.  The dedicated team has the experience and leadership to drive to our vision and supports the change management journey with proven solutions and practices.  They are eager to improve and consistently seek feedback and input to help not only with the solution, but to further develop the capabilities as part of their longer-term roadmap.

**What do you dislike about Gloat?**

As the platform evolves, Gloat should continue to enhance capability areas that are important to organizations, including real-time feedback for gig assignments, etc.  In the future, I'd like to see continued enhancements in the reporting functionality so we can continue to drive better decisions and ensure our ROI is captured effectively.

**What problems is Gloat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gloat has helped our organization unleash the potential of our people and is a differentiator in helping us live our employee value proposition.  The capability spans beyond development...it unlocks potential, unlocks capacity, and connects our people through networking and does all of this with speed.  We have seen engagement rise, financial savings captured, and development soar in our partnership with Gloat.

**What do you like best about Gloat?**

With world of work changing at an unprecedented speed and business becoming more flexible and structures fluid , linear path to career is becoming irrelevant. Gloat platform enables agility, talent relocation and helping organizations shift from talent attraction to talent creation strategy. The Projects feature is one of the best products of Gloat wherein the employees get to work in agile teams which can be global and in a completly different function while being in their current roles, giving an opportunity to employees to "Live their Purpose" through development opportunity and even pivoting their careers.

**What do you dislike about Gloat?**

Everthing about gloat is amazing and it is bringing a revolution in organizations the way we manage talent and making them future fit. The only suggestion would be if there would be a simpler way for system integration between gloat and Unilever so that information and data flow can be easier to analyse at both ends . In depth analytics study can be done to understand user trends so that organization can work on strategy accordingly and identify opportunities.

Gloat is an amazing platform which is bringing in culture and mindset change in the organization and how we see our talent today. It is helping leadership teams develop their teams and dynamically plan their future in the company.

Gloat has helped us in providing access to untapped talent across the organization providing immediate visibility into skills, aspirations and availability.  Gloat has supported Unilever in unlocking capacity by providing quick redeployment solutions to line managers and building agility of our workforce while providing learning and development opportunities for the users.

It enables to unshackle themselves from old norms and build agile future ready workforce. It matches employees and internal opportunities autonomously aligning talent capabilities and aspirations with the needs of the business.

Not everyone can be picked up in this process. People might have talent but it depends on the skills they have mentioned and the hiring manager looking for

Gloat has different platforms for opportunities. It included part time project, full time move, mentorship and even learning experiences. So different opportunities for different type of employees. Managers gain access to talent within the organisation instead of looking external hiring.

The most helpful thing about Gloat, is that employees will be able to view opportunities that would not have been as visible to them in other departments within the organization.

The downside of Gloat, is that some of the opportunities will not show to those employees that have not filled out their skills or profile completely.

The benefits of using Gloat is that we can use the application to source candidates within the organization for special projects across teams.

**What do you like best about Gloat?**

We are currently piloting using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to match the supply and demand of talent at Schneider Electric using InnerMobility. 

Gloat has been a trusted partner in this process, offering our employees a smooth and intuitive user experience as well as curated and verified AI-recommended matches. 

Overall our employees have been raving about the experience and the new transparency and ease of finding their next full-time role or part-time project using InnerMobility.

**What do you dislike about Gloat?**

For now, InnerMobility is only available in English - which for us as a global company is not ideal. Gloat is working on releasing InnerMobility in French, Spanish and Mandarin in the near future.

**What problems is Gloat solving and how is that benefiting you?**

InnerMobility answers to many of our challenges, namely employee attrition due to not finding their next role at Schneider Electric; employee engagement, motivation, etc. We also unleash the internal gig economy by using InnerMobility.
