"The first no-code platform I would recommend"
5/5
What do you like best about Glide Classic?

Most helpful: the tremendous time savings

Upsides:

With just the $25 plan:

+ Extremely comprehensive, stable, and powerful features

+ User-friendly for developers who know how to code and for those who don't

+ Ability to use custom CSS Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Glide Classic?

Honestly, nothing to complain about, except for some difficulties in visually stabilizing items in the frontend when the user clicks or refreshes the content: some elements “jump,” or even the screen itself, which can reduce the user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy No-Code with Room for Improvement"

What do you like best about Glide Classic?

I use Glide to create my app for managing property rentals. It helps me a lot with organizing all the data and, above all, the ability to have the data always at hand. I like that it is completely no-code, yet you can still make amazing apps. The ease of assembling the app as you want is also a great advantage. I would recommend it 9 out of 10. What do you dislike about Glide Classic?

The graphical customization of the app could be improved without necessarily having to modify the CSS code, and also the integrated AI which makes some errors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive, Fast, and Effortless Prototyping"

What do you like best about Glide Classic?

I love how Glide speeds up the development process, allowing us to quickly iterate through our design ideas. The speed is a big plus for us, and the fact that both the front end and backend are readily available means we don't have to set anything up from scratch. Glide is reliable and available, which takes a load off our shoulders. The drag and drop functionality is so handy for building exactly what's needed every time. The onboarding experience was super smooth due to its intuitive functionality and design. The array of components to choose from and the nice customization options are great. That's why we've stuck with Glide for so long. I would undoubtedly recommend Glide to anyone; it has been great for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Glide Classic?

I see it as beneficial for Glide to extend customization by further incorporating custom code to the platform from the developer's end for any range of specific use cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Game-Changer for Streamlining Workflows"

What do you like best about Glide Classic?

I think Glide genuinely changed my day-to-day. It helped me turn messy operational stuff into simple apps that teams could actually use, like lead intake, pipeline, or project tracking. It lets me have everything in one place exactly how I needed it, rather than trying to fit my business into software that doesn't quite match. The speed of getting from an idea to a working app is ridiculous and super fast. The UI is consistent and really clean, and a lot of spreadsheet logic can be built into this. I also like the role-based access, which is really great. The automations are robust, and it's empowering to fix broken workflows. Glide did a great job with incorporating AI into workflows, like processing images or screenshots and exporting to JSON format, which removes a lot of friction in operations. Setting up role-based access is so intuitive that not only is data secure, but I can control what users see on their screens based on their role, reducing noise and enhancing user interaction. What do you dislike about Glide Classic?

When you scale an app with Glide, you can really feel the complexity kind of creep in. There's somewhat of a learning curve learning how to use Glide. Even though there's Glide University with a lot of documentation, the initial things you set up can feel complex, especially if you weren't very thoughtful with your data model. If you don't come from a data, like, an ETL background, setting up dimension and fact tables may not be inherent, and it matters when you get really big. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Glide made it possible to turn my ideas into real apps that help people"
5/5
What do you like best about Glide Classic?

Glide allows me to transform complex ideas into functional, elegant apps without coding. I really appreciate how intuitive the interface is and how quickly I can connect data from tables to create dynamic, user-friendly tools. I use it for organizational projects and social innovation, and it consistently delivers reliability, flexibility, and great visual design. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Glide Classic?

There are a few limitations when managing more advanced logic or complex data relationships, which sometimes require creative workarounds. I’d also love to see more flexibility in customizing the design layout and integrating third-party APIs directly. However, these are minor aspects compared to how powerful and accessible the platform already is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Glide Classic?

I love how easy it is to use Glide if you have an Excel sheet. You can create an app right away, and it becomes more intuitive to update the Excel sheet through the Glide app rather than opening the Excel sheet and typing out whatever you want. Also, using it on your mobile is great because updating an Excel sheet on a mobile is hard, but with the Glide app, it becomes really good and makes getting any information easy. Another thing I like is the UI; it's very clean and easy to use. There are adequate components which allow you to make different kinds of websites, and that's really fantastic. What do you dislike about Glide Classic?

As a designer, I would love more and more components and more control over the aesthetic of my app or website. It would be better if it is much easier to work in the Glide Sheet, using simple formulas and stuff like that. For me, I'm not that technical, so it's a bit difficult, but I usually figure it out via the Glide forum and YouTube. Additionally, Glide is very slow while it's loading and it does not get ranked on any search on Google, which means we lag behind in that aspect. Logging in on Glide was a bit difficult for users. "Simplifying App Development with No-Code Ease"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Glide Classic?

I really appreciate that Glide is a no-code app, which makes it the best choice for me. It's very easy to use and really user-friendly. I love how I can come up with an idea, have ChatGPT help structure it, and then implement it step-by-step in Glide. The initial setup is super easy, and that's why I wish I could launch each app directly from Glide. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Glide Classic?

Sometimes, even with a paid membership, I had to restart Glide two or three times to get certain functions like 'Choice' to show up. I also wish I could finish everything in Glide instead of having to use Replit to send the app abroad. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Facilitate Development with AI and Excellent Results"
5/5
What do you like best about Glide Classic?

I really like Glide for being able to use artificial intelligence and for the ease of using it. This has been very interesting and valuable for my operations. Glide provides me with good moments and excellent results, especially in app development, such as for monitoring construction projects in the civil engineering sector. I found the initial setup very simple, basic, and easy, which was great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Glide Classic?

I don't believe that for him to get even better, he must be following the artificial intelligence models that are emerging every day and making human life easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Practicality, Ideal for Businesses."
5/5
What do you like best about Glide Classic?

I like the practicality of Glide, especially without the need for just programming. I also value the access to Glide from the home screen, as if it were an app, which is very easy and visually appealing. It's useful to have it directly on my screen like an app as it makes it convenient and accessible, which suits my usual way of using other apps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Glide Classic?

Honestly, for me the only thing that can be improved about Glide is its artificial intelligence. But realistically, everything works quite well. Also, for me the initial setup wasn't that easy, because I was learning and didn't know anything about programming or have any logic in applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Glide has significantly transformed how we develop internal applications"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Glide Classic?

The platform is one of the most distinguishing part of this platform in which we are able to drastically decrease incubation time from months to less than 7 days. The platform combines modern tools for brain analysis that fulfill and analyze the functions artificially as far back as it has been impossible.

One of the biggest leaps for our team has been integrating with Google Cloud. Because Google centralized data is consistent and repeatable, the speed of building custom apps to solve specific needs have gone up multiples. As a no-code platform, Coast strikes the right balance of flexibility and feature richness.

Not considering time and resources but this project has been very rewarding in terms of paying back. Highly recommend this platform for any organization wanting to expedite and fine-tune each stage in their workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Glide Classic?

Offers a lot has its pros but needs some work around security and overall user experience. Currently the interface is too rich for its own good and leads to being a bit confusing for specific functionality driven users. An important improvement is to expand the classification capability of infrastructure processes. It would make life easier for designers, who can organize parts better and manage resources more efficiently.

Furthermore, The platform must be improved in its approvals system particularly for systems that were meant to support organisations managing sensitive data in a multitude and separate systems. Today, the platform does not have application/block level granular access control for editors.

Increased need for lower-security spaces to have better approval pipelines so C-suite can set up dozens of access levels per app. Improvements that would let Coast lie at the center of an enterprise-platform, but be able breathe a little first. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
