What do you dislike about Glew?
Everything. This platform feels like it was derived as a way to rebrand first-party data and present it as its own. The information is wrong half the time, which they're aware of and will proceed to say "that is a bug that our engineers are currently working on". The data can't be configured in any functional way. You're stuck into using what are essentially pitiful segmentation tools and that's about it. If you're using this as a data tool for Shopify Plus and a Klaviyo/Recharge/Facebook stack, the information gathered from Shopify + Google is 100% of the time more accurate. This is also the case with almost every single other platform.
The worst part is they seem to be aware that their platform has no purpose and their only way to make money is pushing you through a shiny demo process, which turns into a year-long contract @ approximately $250/month -as the only option- and then slotting you into the dumpy platform.
At that point you'll have realized what a grave mistake you made. This contract doesn't just go for 1-year. It'll automatically roll into a second-year contract with absolutely no notice provided; seriously, 0 notice. This information is not present in their dashboard and there is no way to access it without reaching out via their "chat" widget (aka: email).
When asking to cancel you'll receive the following responses (verbatim):
Email Response #3: "Glew runs off of an auto renewal process please see section 6:6 in our terms and conditions."
Email Response #4: "Unfortunately, my hands are tied when it comes to editing subscription length or price once it is locked in by the auto renewal."
Do not use this platform under any circumstance. Take our experience and look at something like Report Pundint or just hire a dev to setup Data Studio for half the cost of their yearly contract.
The name "Glew" really says it all: "you're stuck with us". Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
