What do you like best about GlassWire Firewall?

Glasswire provides the facility to individually block the internet connection for different software applications. It can display the current network traffic. The updated version has the graphs visualization for network activities. The glasswire application has the ability to alert the possible threats, abnormalities that can occur to the PC. Since also manages the firewall it provides the basic services to protect the PC from network based problems. The user interface is very interactive and colourful. What do you dislike about GlassWire Firewall?

The only problem occured to me was I was using the Glasswire in my personal computer to limit internet connection from individual different applications. But with the recent updates they have removed that feature from the free package. and included is as an premium service.

It is a great network security tool, that has a very unique user interface. To get the best features users need to get the premium membership. But with the free version also users can get some great features. The developers give constant upgrades to the software. For the bandwidth limiting applications and when the internet connection is very slow unwanted applications that are consuming the bandwidth can be restricted from using the internet connection. What do you like best about GlassWire Firewall?

This is related to my experience in using a previous version of GlassWire. I mostly used the software to moderate the data usage by different apps and background processes in my computer. The software provides a firewall that can block certain processes from using data packages. Further it shows the amount of the data amount been used by each process. These two features helped me to recognize the processes that drain my data packages and block them. Apart from these two features, GlassWire provides comprehensive visualizations of your network usage. This helps to identify the peak time of data usage and if mobile data or WiFi was used for those usages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GlassWire Firewall?

With the new updates, the aforementioned firewall feature was made a premium feature which makes the users to upgrade themselves to premium level to get the benefit. This change may have discouraged a considerable number of GlassWire users. Yet, it still is a very useful product for monitoring data usage of your computer. What problems is GlassWire Firewall solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before I started using GlassWire, the data package I was using, started to drain very quickly. I could not find the cause for this rapid drainage. This was because my data package was used by Windows update processes in the background. With GlassWire, I could prevent such processes use mobile data and use only WiFi. This was a huge benefit in terms of the reduction of cost for multiple data packages within a period. GlassWire Firewall could save you!!! It has for me. GlassWire identifies suspicious internet activities, taking the weight of cybersecurity issues off your shoulders. What do you dislike about GlassWire Firewall?

This software takes some getting used to. For me, it required some serious research and training to be able to fully understand the offerings of the software. I do not have an IT background so it took a while to understand even the basics. The software is also at a higher price point than competitors who offer similar services free of charge. We are able to recognize malware & suspicious activity before they cause problems. We are able to keep our personal information private as well as our customers. I am also able to prevent using mobile data, which is not a reimbursable expense at my company, and only use WiFi when available. The best thing is that how smoothly it works. It gets downloaded and starts working in just a couple of minutes! It really make your network safe by analyzing each and every program accessing your network. The 'Block all' feature is really awesome and you can block all programs and go relax till the time you are away from your computer! UI is very smooth and easy to understand. Great design! I love how user friendly this program is. The colors and real time activity tracker is SOOO cool. I have never used a product like this and best of all it is free! You will be able to upgrade, but I am sure what the extra features are. It shows all the internet websites you are connected to in real time and the usage of different apps and traffic. What do you like best about GlassWire Firewall?

I like how simple this program makes it to monitor traffic on your network. The interface is very well-laid out, and it is easy to find lots of information, such as how much traffic certain products are using, which programs are communicating over your network for the first time, and what external addresses they are connecting to.
