I appreciated the idea of "allowing" me to share reviews based on my personal experiences at the company. The idea that I can leave one review a year, in line with their guidelines, is great because it lets me show how my feelings about the company evolve over time. Unfortunately, Glassdoor removed my personal reviews because disgruntled employees falsely claimed I was impersonating them. In reality, all my reviews were based on my genuine experiences and roles within the company. Not once did they try to contact me and let me know or even ask about my reviews. Just a removal.
Another frustrating aspect is that it seems like only those who are unhappy leave reviews. For instance, I’m leaving a review now out of frustration. This creates a skewed and biased company profile, which doesn’t accurately reflect the experiences of all employees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
