When I have needed help, their customer service has been great. I've worked the most with Caitlynn. Our setup is a bit unique due to how we are organized, so my questions were not the normal ones. Caitlynn is clearly experienced in the product. She understood my questions and what was behind them, and she was able to help me find solutions to all of them. There were 2 times she needed to reach out to her team to do a deeper dive, and I had answers within 30-60 minutes which was fast. We are very grateful for all of the help! **What do you dislike about GivingFuel?** It took me a bit to understand what options I had to put onto a page (like a line item) and how to best utilize actions to get the behaviors on the page that I needed. Even in the setup we are realizing how much more potential we have with Giving Fuel than in our previous option. They really know their product, and have offered out of the box suggestions. The product works great for us. One feature I like is being able to receive and enter in off line donations. Our larger donations come in the form of checks. So it is good to meld them with CC donations. Giving Fuel has saved me time, and increased efficiency. I would be happy to discuss how we use GF with you if you are interested. I am surprised that this evaluation only generated an A-. I truly feel like GF is an A+ product for our situation. **What do you dislike about GivingFuel?** So far I have not found a thing that I dislike. They might not be the cheapest product on the market. But what they offer is worth way more than saving a few bucks. There is the saying Quality, Service, Price, you can only have 2 out of 3. I love Giving Fuels Quality and Service, and their price really is not that high. **Recommendations to others considering GivingFuel:** If you are a non profit or church that needs help getting things under control, Giving Fuel is a great option. There wasn't a lot of paperwork. Credit card fees are reasonable. Text-to-give with a custom local phone number is included in paid plans. I love how it works too--just text an amount to the number. After the initial setup, it's one step to give. **What do you dislike about GivingFuel?** There were some struggles with text-to-give when mobile providers started routinely blocking business text. It took some time to work that out, but it's working well now. It would also be better to be able to edit the credit card set up for text-to-give without having to re-enter all the information again. And if you have a lot of giving pages, making a change like changing your gateway requires editing every page individually with no easy way to verify all the pages are set to the correct gateway. **What problems is GivingFuel solving and how is that benefiting you?** GivingFuel allowed us to integrate directly with our donor management system. This means that donations given online are automatically recorded for the most part reducing the time required for processing donations. It also provided an easy way (text-to-give) for members to give during worship without being distracted by filling out forms or checks. ### 25. Drag and drop interface is intuitive, and configuration options are clear. I absolutely love the conditional-logic-based actions that allow me to show or hide things, waive fees, etc. Their support knowledgebase is pretty comprehensive, as well. When I have had questions, I have used the support chat, and the responses were fast and usually spot-on without a lot of back-and-forth discussion. The support engineers are passionate about what they do, and happily throw together example pages to showcase features that might be helpful. I love not having to guess what the fees are, as the fees are tied to the donations received. And it is easy to pass the processing fees on to the donor, so the fees don't chip away at the donations. **What do you dislike about GivingFuel?** I prefer a grid layout for merchandise, but that option isn't available. I would have also liked to animate selections, but that's definitely fluff, not a dealbreaker. **What problems is GivingFuel solving and how is that benefiting you?** My client wanted to launch a virtual version of an "Envelope Challenge" (also known as a "Wall of Money"). Another vendor had what looked like a pretty comprehensive and easy solution, but they restrict the timeframe of the campaign to two weeks, which was not enough for her. Thanks to GivingFuel, I was able to quickly put together the site she needed, and we launched it three days before her desired date, when she thought that it would take another week or two after that date, based on the other vendor's timeline. For years I have had to endure multiple issues--from incorrect timestamps to records not being triggered, created, or synced into Salesforce at all. Even after having reported these issues years ago, and they acknowledging that the issues exist with promises to address them, the glaring issues remain unresolved. To put it simply, their Salesforce integration is one of the worst I've seen or experienced. **What problems is GivingFuel solving and how is that benefiting you?** GivingFuel is useful for managing our fundraising campaigns and providing an online portal for constituents/donors to give. Their forms are easy to create and giving is always easy to follow along with. They offer a very simplistic approach to looking at your giving. Somebody who is fresh-faced can step into this tool and easily pick up on how everything works and how each report can be used. We've had zero issues with giving fuels forms. **What do you dislike about GivingFuel?** Recently, Giving Fuel changed how their system works. They're now requiring an e-mail for all donors, which normally would be fine except for our monthly donors who gave years ago and have no valid e-mail. E-mails were created for them and they became a lumped group in our system instead of individuals. We also had some issues recently with Giving Fuel connecting with our internal payout system. Some gifts from Giving fuel never come over or go missing, along with some issues of fraud, even though we've taken all precautions on our forms to avoid this. **Recommendations to others considering GivingFuel:** With it's easy to use features, I don't know why you wouldn't give it a try. The forms are easy to setup and customizable. Monthly recurring gifts are processed automatically every day. Confirmation and decline emails are automatic. It's easy to export all of your data to import to a CRM, and they allow API connections. Customer service is good. It's really, really inexpensive. **What do you dislike about GivingFuel?** It's fairly basic. There are a few things that you can't customize, like when and how many times a declined recurring transaction is retried, or multi-column layouts on a donation page. It is not robust enough to be a CRM, but it does not pretend to be. **Recommendations to others considering GivingFuel:** I haven't found a better value for online donations.
