After searching for many tools that would facilitate an online "gift catalog" shopping experience for a nonprofit with multiple donation funds, I found Givecloud, one of the only "do it yourself" type toools out there. In addition to the "online store" I was also able to set up a website, emails and e-cards for donors who were giving in someone's honor. The support team is very fast to respond and the chatbot actually provides really helpful answers. I have gotten pretty familiar with Givecloud and now use it almost daily as I run a nonprofit holiday gift catalog campaign. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Givecloud? We did experience some difficulties with setting up an integration between Givecloud and Zapier and our CRM, Virtuous, and the Givecloud team did their best to try to resolve. We didn't end up using the Zapier integration and are manually importing gifts to the CRM, which is an "okay" solution for the scale we are at right now. This process was frustrating through. I appreciate that the team is readily available to help! They have eased my mind many times with swift, accurrate answers. I also like that Givecloud perfectly syncs with several of our other tools and services, including DonorPerfect and Constant Contact. I can't think of any downsides to using Givecoud. For the most part it works great! There are only a few suggestions that I have come up with over the last year that would improve our user experience. Its visually appealing and user-friendly interface beautifully reflects the spirit of Franciscan generosity, while timely acknowledgments reinforce the impact of each gift. I like that I'm able to search for donors and it quickly pulls up their history of donations and information. I like that it helps mark and identify spam users, and I like the technical support team, they are always very friendly and try to help my issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Givecloud? Creating websites or other technical elements. I do not find this process very user friendly at all. As someone with absolutely no web developing experience, the website set up is not easy to learn. After almost 4 years working with this program, I am just now starting to feel comfortable with some things, and others I completely avoid. For example, when I have to make a new page for an event or some other reason for my organization, I strictly do this using the "Feeds and Blogs" section. The Pages and Menu section is beyond my scope of knowledge and I cannot figure it out. I also wish the Chat help feature was more live. I know the help team usually responds pretty quickly, but often I find I have to write the question, leave the task I was working on, move on to something else, get the reply a few hours (or the next day) later, and then return to what I was working on. The start, stop, start process is disruptive to my day, when often my question could have been answered in just a couple of minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. GiveCloud has revolutionized the way we manage and keep track of our sponsored students in Uganda. The timeline feature allows us to have an easily accessible historical record of photos, videos, letters and grade reports for each child. We have several co-sponsors (meaning two or more sponsors are linked to one child) and I wish there was a way to separate out correspondence so that both do not have to see all updates. Sponsors have also requested a way to communicate back to their student through the platform (sending their own letters/photo/video updates), but this feature is still not available. I'm a DonorPerfect user but their donation pages are dated and not well optimized. However GiveCloud integrates well with them, has many tuning options, tips, and a modern UI for conversion optimized donations. It's really easy to put together a custom flow and install it on our website or link directly to it. It's our primary donation flow that gets used by donors every week.
