**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

Givebutter offers a great value and is easy to present to board members as an alternative or addition. The interface is clean and easy to navigate, it plays well with our admittedly limited suite of other tools, and it's easy to share with both contributors and donors.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

There are some things I haven't figured out how to present well - for example a series of ticketed events that I want to create one portal for. It's not impossible, just a bit convoluted. There's also some ui for users/donors that I might critique a bit (for example the 'repeat for all' button can be hard to find for a first ticket on mobile and if users click the one on the second ticket, it clears information. These are challenges common to non-tech savvy users in general, but it'd be nice to be able to see some customizations or improvements for people who might be easily confused or intimidated by new systems.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GiveButter is giving me a portal for our non profit to promote events. I'd like to see its use expanded with our organization. I'm better able to manage donor information, get data immediately, and create custom forms. We previously used a combination of a free form builder and square which had limitations and fees associated.

Givebutter has added event functionality, custom reports (behind a reasonable paywall) and phone customer support. These features alone are enough to keep us on as customers for a long period of time. Can't say customer support knowledge has improved, but ease of access has.

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

The peer-to-peer fundraising works really well for us. It's nice that there are many ways to give and several fundraiser formats. The UI and EX has overall been positive for us. We've had no issues with performance -- though there are a few features that make bookkeeping a headache for us. But for a basically-free nonprofit giving platform, it does a solid job.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

Communication back and forth about integration issues was very slow, and we had to discuss with several departments. Other, simpler issues have been resolved within a few days. There's no email option (and phone calls are jut for Plus) for new support tickets, so resolution time can be tricky. 

Some specific things that are a headache for us: not all data transfers seamlessly to our CRM (Keap) even when using Zapier; it's not clear who opts in for communications; anonymity choices have caused several issues on our end.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GiveButter gave our nonprofit a better and easier user experience, enabled us to start collecting recurring donations, helps us keep better records, and empowered more people on our team to help with our fundraising because of its easy-to-use platform. We've been able to easily host peer-to-peer fundraisers and are looking to use it for event ticketing as well.

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

I really like the clear, easy-to-use interface, and I’m impressed by the amazing amount of tech support available. I love how you can link accounts together by relationships and track donor touchpoints and even automate some workflows.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

Some of the functionality around events is clunky, such as not being able to add guests to an event campaign from the back end without adding in their contact information again on the front end of the software. Also, the system easily duplicates donors when the purchase event tickets and use a different version of their name, etc. Also, there isn't quite enough custom reporting for my taste. I tend to get stuck trying to pull data from both the transactions and the contact side of things and it won't let you filter with both things. I love that it has a canva integration, but it's not as seamless as I'd originally thought it would be. There's a lot of clicking out of GB to Canva and then you can't save building blocks or standard pieces, like email headings in Givebutter's engage section.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are currently solving how to match contacts by email address and name so that there aren't so many duplicates created and that's streamlining my systems. I appreciate their event functionality. That was super helpful when we had our gala. I see that they're working on allowing users to create and assign comp tickets to guests which will help me next year as I comp all of our staff working at the event.

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

Givebutter makes it incredibly easy to launch a fundraising campaign quickly and share it with our community. We recently used it for a small church hospitality project, and I was able to build the page, set a goal, share the link, and start receiving gifts without needing any technical help. The campaign page looks polished, donors have multiple easy payment options, and I appreciate having the donor information and transactions organized in one place. It makes small and medium-sized fundraising projects feel very manageable.

The main thing I dislike is the tipping feature. I understand why Givebutter uses optional tips to support the platform, but the way it is presented can feel a little tricky or confusing for donors. I would prefer the option to be more clearly explained and easier for donors to decline, so no one feels like an additional contribution is expected.

Givebutter solves a very practical problem for us: we occasionally need to raise money online for relatively small church or school projects, but I don't want to pay an ongoing monthly subscription or deal with complicated payment-processing and PCI-compliance issues just to run a simple fundraiser. Givebutter lets us create a professional campaign, collect donations securely, and manage donors without adding another major recurring expense. Their standard fundraising tools can be used without a monthly subscription.

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

I really appreciate Givebutter's ease of use and the fact that it's free. The chat option for help is quick and solves my problems accurately. It's also excellent for reports, fundraising, and communications. I love the Spend Card, which makes funds available immediately and can be used directly for specific events without waiting for a bank transfer. Everything is integrated into one platform, and it was super easy to set up. We moved our donor list from our previous service without any hassle, and I can easily track donor contributions with the effective search bar.

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

Give Butter has added the wallet feature so there is a lot more flexibility in how much money when we transfer. This allows me better reporting as I can pull the exact amount to each account that I need to. I believe this has also meant you can edit transactions to be directed to different campaigns or people, which is really helpful as well when someone makes an error they don't have to completely redo the transaction. 

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

They have added a subscription to access more of the features. I still think we can get what we need on the free platform, but I am sure much of their focus has been on the paid platform. I still am looking for targeted access for users on just certain campaigns, but it is a minor ask. Still very pleased with the product. The fees/tipping confuses our donors quite a bit so we just disable it and deal with the higher platform fees.

GiveButter allows us to use platforms like Venmo to accept donations. It also allows us to have campaign pages to add videos and content specific to that campaign.

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

The platform continues to offer wonderful free resources that help small, understaffed, and growing organizations learn and grow. They now offer a whole host of paid services that I have yet to explore because the free version of the platform is still meeting my organization’s needs; as we grow, I will absolutely explore the paid services. 

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

Would love an option to change some of the original account settings — there may be a solution I haven’t found, but would love to se it more intuitive for things like changing organization’s phone number, etc.

Givebutter has filled our needs for short term fundraising efforts like auctions, events, and campaigns which is more than we anticipated when we first signed up with the platform. We have been so happy with it that we are slowly shifting all of our donation activities to the platform.

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

Givebutter has become the backbone of our fundraising. We use a separate CRM (I won’t mention the name) that offers only the bare minimum across the board. Fortunately, Givebutter integrates with it, which allows us to actually take advantage of strong fundraising tools.

Whenever we think about embedding forms or a button on our website, Givebutter has it. Silent auction? Givebutter has it. The features are so user-friendly that even when I’m using them for the first time, it still feels like I’m a pro. It has improved my own performance and our department’s overall performance.

Givebutter consistently delivers. On top of that, their support is premium—responses are prompt, and they help fix the problem right away.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

There's one specific thing about Silent Auction feature that I'd suggest improving - the receipt. I learned that auction bidder received the same receipt as someone bought the tickets, which could be confusing. It would be great to make a separate receipt for auction.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've been in development for almost 10 years. I have a deep respect for Givebutter. One, they're free. And recently they offer a paid version, which is understandable. But, unlike other platform, they keep their free version user friendly, and only take away premium feature like text message for example. Small non-profits that may not have funding to spend on CRM can now turn to Givebutter. That's equity in Development.

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

My non-profits love that it's free outside of the transaction fees. Most of their donors cover those fees. It's easy to use and we use it for all of our campaigns.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

It would be great to add bulk tags inside of the transactions section. I can pull anyone who participated in a campaign, but I can't add tags to them as a group. In my case, I needed people who participated at a specific level within the campaign. We also had a donor process a refund due to a communication issue. The way refunds look in reports is not intuitive and we had to spend more time than expected figuring out how much they had actually donated once the refund was processed.

We are using it for ongoing fundraising and for event tickets/onsite payments.

That there is a form that can be embedded right on our site so we are not sending donors to a new place. Also the silent auction tool. It is easy to use without having a ton of experience.

The free silent auction is a bit time consuming for uploads as it is one item at a time.

embed donation forms, silent auction functionality, not sure if they have something that would allow for purchase of set price items at an event, if they do that would be great. really like that there are not fees. works well with Weebly thus far and the phone functionality for the silent auction is good (people are able to use with few issues and little confusion)

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

What we like best about Givebutter is how easy and flexible it is for our school to use for a variety of fundraising and donation needs. We have been using Givebutter for more than three years to raise money to support our students. We use it for a variety of fundraisers and events, and we also have Givebutter connected to our school website so community members can make donations directly to our school. We like that we can create separate campaigns for different fundraising efforts and easily share them with our families, supporters, and community through social media, email, our website, and other outreach. It gives us one place to manage our fundraising and makes it easy for our supporters to purchase tickets, enter raffles, place orders, or make donations. Having one platform for so many different types of fundraising has made our process much more organized and accessible, and it has become a valuable tool in helping us raise money for programs, projects, and opportunities that directly benefit our students.

As a school nonprofit, we cannot afford to upgrade to the paid platform, so losing access to text messaging has been difficult for us. Text messaging was an effective way for us to reach our supporters and share our fundraisers, and we saw it help bring in additional donations and participation. Losing that direct connection has made it more challenging to reach our community and has impacted our ability to generate the same level of fundraising support. We would really like to see text messaging remain available to organizations like ours that rely on Givebutter to raise money for our students.

Givebutter helps us solve the challenge of managing multiple fundraising efforts throughout the year while making it easy for our families, supporters, and community to participate. This saves us time and keeps our fundraising efforts more organized instead of having to use different platforms for each fundraiser. It also gives our supporters an easy way to contribute, which helps us raise money for programs, projects, and opportunities that directly benefit our students.

The only thing that I've found so far I don't like is that sometimes the sort function doesn't properly alphabetize names in the contact list or in an event attendee list.

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

Givebutter is very easy to use and offers a robust suite of fundraising tools.

Their onboarding and support are truly terrific. Between live training events, guidance from expert fundraisers, helpful articles and video resources, and excellent customer service, I feel like our organization is genuinely valued and set up for success. I also appreciate that the product roadmap is prioritized by user votes.

We also value the flexible pricing models, including the "Free Forever" suite of tools, which helps me sleep at night knowing our CRM is safe and not held hostage by an expensive bill or contract. On a per-campaign basis, you can choose to enable optional donor tips, which allows your org to keep using all features for free, or you can be charged a percentage fee to avoid asking supporters for tips.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

I’m genuinely very happy with Givebutter. The default donor tip to Givebutter changes dynamically based on the contribution amount, but I wish the default percentage for smaller contributions was a bit lower. I think Givebutter does a good job making it clear that credit card fees and the platform tip are optional, but some donors move through checkout too quickly and end up surprised by the “fees” shown in their cart.

I understand Givebutter needs to make money, so this is the compromise that helps keep the platform free for our organization. Platform fees can be avoided with a simple setting on a per-campaign basis, but then your org absorbs the fees instead of asking they be covered by your contributors. Luckily, you have the choice.

In the past 2 years we've been using Givebutter, I've seen the CRM features mature quite a bit. They're rapidly developing and improving the platform and provide regular updates with new and improved features.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Givebutter, we can use a single platform for dedicated campaign and donation pages, website widgets, email and SMS outreach, our donor CRM, spending cards and rewards, and more. It’s genuinely terrific not having to manage separate platforms and payments for all of these different tools.

Before Givebutter, we were on a legacy platform that charged a truly exorbitant contractual fee based on the number of constituents in our database. At times, our organization simply couldn’t afford it, and it was daunting to think we might lose access to our history and contacts. Givebutter has pledged to keep the core CRM features free, which makes a big difference for us.

It's great for managing information, like donors names and contact info, which makes writing yearly thank you cards a breeze. One of my favorite things is the flexibility it provides for doing fundraisers. You can display campaigns on a TV or monitor so people can see fundraising in real time. We find the ability to manage all our separate campaigns very useful since we can easily toggle between different campaigns depending on the season. It's really easy and convenient to update them as needed.

The PRICE! We were dubious after looking at a number of similar fundraising tools. So many of them had hidden costs. We are a very small non-profit and needed a very affordable tool to introduce us to the world of fundraising. Givebutter allowed us to create and host an auction with no hidden costs.

I had difficulty figuring out how to use the tool. I watched and rewatched all of the tutorials and still had to ask for help more than once. Some of the features are not intuitively accessible. One example, after creating the auction catalog, I could not figure out how to view it! I had to ask for help. Crazy.

I love that Givebutter makes giving easy for my clients' donors, with its seamless embedding on various websites. The technical support is amazing, and I always feel heard, plus the community forums are great for upvoting new features. I like the visual representation on the campaign pages that represents community support. The peer-to-peer experience is fantastic and is one of the best I've used. The polished look and user-friendliness of Givebutter are phenomenal. I appreciate how Givebutter integrates with platforms like Squarespace, Chariot, Bloomerang, Little Green Light, Stripe, and I'm impressed with their feedback loop, which feels like one of the best I’ve encountered. Lastly, setting up Givebutter is incredibly easy, which makes it very efficient for my needs. I also like the automatic upsell message options for monthly donor conversion.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

One area Givebutter could improve is its functionality for events, particularly in combining donations and ticket sales on a single event page. It would be great if the platform could save credit card information during ticket checkout for live events, allowing for a smoother checkout process post-event. This enhancement could make Givebutter more competitive for auctions by facilitating an easy auction payment experience at live events without requiring guests to wait in lines to check out. Additionally, while the platform is set up well for online auctions, some improvements for in-person or hybrid events could strengthen its offering. Integrating seamlessly for both in-person and online components would broaden its appeal as more robust auction software. I have heard feedback that the pages aren't customizable enough and end up looking more like a Givebutter template than a bespoke microsite for events. GoFundMe Pro has lots of issues but the front end is great looking. I also like the ability that GoFundMe Pro has to remember if someone is making a gift and remind them when they return to a website where the form is embedded.

Focus on basic tools optimization before expanding features that are often not used as much. Also, simplify the way people can choose to leave a tip for the platform or not. As is, it's slightly misleading and requires too many steps to adjust.

The customer service is, so far, what sets Givebutter apart from other platforms. Once the donor management aspect of the platform is fully fleshed, this will be the biggest competitor to current services already in the market if they manage to keep costs low and support stellar!

I continue to love the options that Givebutter offers.  As a person who is not overwhelmingly tech-savvy, so many of the functions on Givebutter are super intuitive.  Any time I have felt "stuck", it's been easy to get answers and resolve my challenges.

Not at this time.  I am loving GB! If anything, it might be the length of time it takes to "cash out" but other than that, I am enjoying using this tool.

Totally hear you on the campaign color choices. Just a quick tip: if the color you want isn’t showing up in the options, you can actually use a hex code! That’s a six-digit code (starting with a #) that represents any color you want. You can look one up online using a color picker and paste it to get the perfect shade.

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

I like the ease of having to mostly just fill out spaces with our details and Givebutter handles the rest of it. There's no coding, no having to host it ourselves and that saves a lot of time and money.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

I don't like that we can't customize it more, especially the donate button and the interface. We have had several donors complain that they were tricked into "tipping", assuming that the money was going to our nonprofit, only to realize it went to Givebutter. 

Along with the donate button, we often use the event portion. However, Givebutter makes you go through with donating and then the event, which confuses some of our "users".

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's solving the problem of having a place to host our events and having a ticket system/place to capture data that we can then use. It has also helped us with fundraising, especially when we did an online auction.

Givebutter continues to provide valuable and impactful fundraising options both at the no-charge tier and the Givebutter+ tier.  I continue to be impressed with Givebutter's commitment to continually improving its already robust no-charge basic platform.

Givebutter is doing a much better job of beta testing new enhancements and modules before release.  I would like Givebutter to consider offering the marketing and communications features of Givebutter+ (paid tier) as stand-alone modules available to basic Givebutter users for a flat fee.  I feel that would encourage no-charge tier users to eventually upgrade to Givebutter+.  Especially since the donor data is already captured, I'd rather pay Givebutter for marketing and communications than to the stand-alone solutions like Mailchimp or Constant Contact.

Givebutter allows me to easily create professional-looking campaigns at a low-to-no cost.  The Goodbutter's "tips" option is a very unique way to make their solution affordable and was the option which made me decide to partner with the company.

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

It’s amazing that nonprofits can avoid paying card service fees. Since I started using GB, it has saved me a lot.
I also like having the ability to sell tickets.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

I don’t like having to learn yet another program. That said, their support is excellent, and they offer a Bootcamp to help you get started.
The other thing I struggle with is that it can be difficult to see all of the information from submissions in one place-without printing it out as a csv.

The number one reason I switched to GiveButter is that it gives me a platform where I can create forms that accept payments. My previous go-to is Google Forms and then send an invoice. I work with a lot of government entities that can’t access Google. GiveButter has been a great alternative for that. It is more easily accessed and cuts out the invoicing step.

I have not found any features I dislike in using.  The only "trick" is explaining the tip functionality to new users.  And its a wild name!

The software is really easy to use and has tons of features that are useful for many different situations (events, auction, general fundraising, private, public etc). The integrations are great and the pricing cannot be beat. Customer support is really fast and fantastic.

The only thing I don't like is that entering items into the auction can feel tedious and in any mode you need to be sure to hit save a lot or you lose your updates.

Since I started using give butter, they have updated quite a few things one specifically that I am happy about is the email communication templates have more flexibility.

I think give butter should work with Canva so that we can create our email templates there and import them to give butter to have a more fun email to send out to our supporters and families.

I really appreciate many aspects of GiveButter Plus. Top improvements for me would be: 1. Standard fees across the different types of campaigns is an improvement. 2. Being able to tailor the portion of ticket sales that are tax-deductible. 3. Automations

I am still disappointed by the limitations on finding duplicate accounts. I have also found that there are several reporting needs for which Givebutter doesn't have capacity.

I would have to reassess the platform since we have transitioned to GiveCampus as our giving platform.

We have transitioned off of GIVEBUTTER to GiveCampus. GiveCampus provides much more functionality for receiving gifts, tracking events (newer functionality), managing giving campaigns and overall donor relations/stewardship related to correspondence & Solicitation in our field.

the ability to collect donations on behalf of the University and Alumni very quickly and easily.<br>UPDATE: We transitioned to GiveCampus about a year ago. We currently still have the platform because we had a few remaining recurring gifts that are processed through G.B.<br>We attempted to contact those donors on multiple occasions to migrate the recurring gift but have been unsuccessful. Our needs expanded past what we could accomplish on G.B., but as a starting point the platform was very helpful.

What I like best about Givebutter is its intuitive interface and all-in-one functionality. The drag-and-drop builder allows us to create donation pages quickly, saving hours of work. We also benefit from real-time analytics and built-in donor management, which help us better understand and engage our supporters. Having fundraising, events, and peer-to-peer tools in one platform has significantly improved our workflow and reduced the need for multiple services. The transparent pricing model and responsive support team are also a big advantage.

The event ticketing system could be improved. It would be helpful to have fully generated PDF tickets and Apple Wallet support for a better user experience. Also, at event check-in, support for external barcode scanners connected to a computer (not just mobile app scanning) would make entry faster and more efficient. Additionally, donation form embeds need more customization options, such as flexible sizing and the ability to disable recurring donations in specific placements.

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

I like Givebutter because it's simple and intuitive to use, which is great for managing events, ticketing, and donation campaigns for my nonprofit dance company. It solves the problem of losing a percentage of our ticket sales because Givebutter doesn't take a cut, and patrons can choose to donate to the platform. I find it beneficial to have one place to do CRM, track donors, and manage emails. I also appreciate Givebutter's feature of duplicating past campaigns, as it reduces my workload when creating new campaigns. Even without upgrading to premium, the free account meets all our needs.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

The email newsletter options at the free level are very primitive. They don't have a lot of design options. Making different segments of my audience has been limited but seems to be improving. It's just not as beautifully curated as some of the email newsletters I've done through Mailchimp.

Givebutter prevents losing ticket sales percentages to platforms, as it doesn't take a cut, and allows patrons to donate extra. It's a unified space for CRM, donor tracking, and managing ticket buyers, tuition payers, and registrations. It's also intuitive to use.

 Givebutter has an excellent interface to embed on our website, responsive customer service, and helpful resources. The webinars are fantastic! 

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

We had a couple of missteps transferring contacts from our previous software, and we had to make a couple of attempts at uploading clean data - it was a challenge to delete the first upload, but the customer service team was very helpful, and ultimately, we got it sorted out. Since then we had no issues. Highly recommend!

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

I like using Givebutter for fundraising campaigns for my nonprofit organization. It makes conducting a fundraising campaign much easier. I like the aesthetics of the platform, and it's very convenient because we can easily post it to social media or send out the link via email. I appreciate the ease of using the software, and I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to transfer funds from the Givebutter account to my checking account or the association's checking account. The initial setup was also very easy.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

I think there needs to be a little more transparency in the optional fees. It seems like it just defaults to giving a tip to Givebutter, and that takes some of our donors by surprise. Maybe if it was just a little more upfront as to how the tip would be added and how they can calculate that, what their final donation amount will be. That would be appreciated for our members.

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

I use Givebutter for fundraising at a nonprofit school. I appreciate that it's really easy to use and I don't have to pay anything extra to use it, which saves a lot of money. The easy organization is a plus too, and the campaigns are good. Sending out end-of-year summaries to all the people who donated without having to manually do it is probably one of the best features.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

Some of the campaigns do have trouble, especially when we want to do a raffle ticket system. This one doesn't work for that, and we ended up using something else. So I'd say it's not going to 100% cover a nonprofits needs. The tip system does get frustrating for some people. I understand why it's there, and it does a good job explaining, but still, it's frustrating for some.

Givebutter does great with the database and CRM, allowing recurring transactions. It's easy to use with no extra payments, saving money. I can send end-of-year summaries to donors, eliminating manual tasks.

What I really appreciate about Givebutter is that it works as a streamlined, all-in-one platform for most nonprofits. Before signing up for Plus, I relied on several different tools—Mailchimp for email marketing, Eventbrite for ticket sales, and a bunch of spreadsheets to track donor and fundraising data. Givebutter has made my job easier by serving as a central hub for most of what I was already using. I also appreciate how fast and responsive the team is, especially after joining.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

There are some limits on customization, especially around user permissions. I wish there were a way to tailor a user’s role so they only have access to certain features, since every situation is different. I also wish there were more options for customizing emails and texts, including additional templates to choose from. Another improvement would be the ability to send text messages back and forth through the Engage tab; that would be helpful when I need to contact a donor without having to use a cellular device. Pricing-wise, I think it’s very reasonable.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Givebutter is helping me solve the problem of having to use multiple platforms like Mailchimp, Eventbrite, and spreadsheets. I’m a big believer that less is more, and from a convenience standpoint, it’s really nice to be able to handle most of my day-to-day tasks in one place. Givebutter is also helping us by providing a centralized platform to collect donations across all kinds of fundraising campaigns. Performance-wise, I enjoy using the software because it’s easy to maneuver and navigate.

As someone who has fundraised professionally and used many donor platforms, Givebutter is easily the best. It’s easy to use, it’s intuitive, it allows me to do everything I need, and it’s free tier allows my small nonprofit to keep the funds we raise and put it toward the work we do rather than to overhead.

I haven’t found much, to be honest. I’d love to be able to customize the event pages a little more, but I am using the free version of Givebutter and certainly do not expect that kind of functionality for free.

We used the platform for a peer-to-peer campaign. It was super easy for our volunteers to set up their pages. This is what make GiveButter fantastic - easy enough for non-tech people to use but sophisticated enough to securely capture all the data we need for donors, donations, and reporting.

The check-out process for donors can be a bit tricky. If they prefer not to leave a tip they need to unclick the box. However, the GiveButter support staff has been spectacular anytime I called asking for help in refunding the tip.  Great service.

I really like that Givebutter consolidates everything we need into one place. Using it as a CRM, a donation tracker, and an email platform is incredibly convenient. We moved away from using separate tools like Mailchimp and spreadsheets, which makes our processes more streamlined. Having our CRM connected to our email platform and donation tracking saves us a lot of time and keeps everything organized, particularly for managing financial transactions our donors make.

The email editor can be hard to use and not intuitive, which is a bit of a pain. Also, there are certain features they haven't built yet that we're waiting for, like better tracking on emails and a sense of how we're performing with our sent emails. I would love features that proactively suggest improvements using AI. Another issue is that the data maintenance can be clunky, which makes it harder for us to handle better.

We continue to use Givebutter for all of our events and general donations. Setting up new events is very easy and I like that it generates a QR Code that gives the donor options for payment.

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

Givebutter is super user friendly and has great AI tools and customer service to answer questions about what you want to use the software for. I have found places where there are gaps in its abilities, but it gives you the power to vote for an addition to the software and I have been using GiveButter long enough and it changes often enough that I have seen things I voted for be implemented. It feels like the updates are always useful and I rarely if ever encounter bugs or oddities. We have added a newsletter sign up to our website interconnecting GiveButter and our other systems and it has worked flawlessly. I would love to connect it with other systems too. I think for the price and the charging model it is absolutely the best system out there for small non-profits who want to keep all their information in one place, email from one place, and continue to grow with this great tool.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

It is a more limited tool than some fundraising CRM systems, but it is covering more things a little bit and in my mind it's workable and helpful. Especially as a non-profit with razor thin margins it's been so helpful to eliminate multiple more elaborate systems in exchange for it all being in one place. But I know there are things still missing that I would like to take advantage of, especially in the reporting category, but I have seen GiveButter grow and improve and believe it will continue that way.

GiveButter is putting all of our contacts into one place and as a small school that helps me communicate with all of our different audiences in an easier way. It's work flow ability is making it so I can connect with people on their level without having to always be reinventing the wheel or remembering what I need to talk to them about next. I love that GiveButter is now thinking more about who its serving and schools being one of them. I am excited to see what other problems it will be able to solve for us in the future.
