## Givebutter Reviews
 ### 1. No-Code Setup That Saves Time and Money

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angela F. | Admin Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

I like the ease of having to mostly just fill out spaces with our details and Givebutter handles the rest of it. There's no coding, no having to host it ourselves and that saves a lot of time and money.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

I don't like that we can't customize it more, especially the donate button and the interface. We have had several donors complain that they were tricked into "tipping", assuming that the money was going to our nonprofit, only to realize it went to Givebutter.

Along with the donate button, we often use the event portion. However, Givebutter makes you go through with donating and then the event, which confuses some of our "users".

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's solving the problem of having a place to host our events and having a ticket system/place to capture data that we can then use. It has also helped us with fundraising, especially when we did an online auction.

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> Angela, thank you for sharing your experience! 💛

We're so glad Givebutter has helped save your team time and money while providing a place to host events, fundraising campaigns, and online auctions.

We also appreciate your feedback around customization, the donation experience, and event registration flow. Regarding tips, organizations have the option to adjust or remove them entirely depending on what works best for their goals and donor experience. We'd be happy to pass along your feedback about additional customization options as well.

Thank you again for taking the time to share your thoughts and for trusting Givebutter with your fundraising efforts! 😊

 ### 2. Lots of functions and easy access to customer service

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sara H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

I really appreciate many aspects of GiveButter Plus. Top improvements for me would be: 1. Standard fees across the different types of campaigns is an improvement. 2. Being able to tailor the portion of ticket sales that are tax-deductible. 3. Automations

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

I am still disappointed by the limitations on finding duplicate accounts. I have also found that there are several reporting needs for which Givebutter doesn't have capacity.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We need an integrated platform for monthly gifts, peer-to-peer, auction and raffle sales. In addition, our state is very particular about deposits and raffle sales. Givebutter allows us to manually transfer funds which will allow us to put the right amount in the right account.

**Official Response from Sunny Ellis:**

> This is so great to hear, Sara! We love helping you stay compliant with local and state laws! 👮🏽‍♀️

 ### 3. Easy to Use with Solid Fundraising Features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thomas M. | Executive Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

I use Givebutter for fundraising at a nonprofit school. I appreciate that it's really easy to use and I don't have to pay anything extra to use it, which saves a lot of money. The easy organization is a plus too, and the campaigns are good. Sending out end-of-year summaries to all the people who donated without having to manually do it is probably one of the best features.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

Some of the campaigns do have trouble, especially when we want to do a raffle ticket system. This one doesn't work for that, and we ended up using something else. So I'd say it's not going to 100% cover a nonprofits needs. The tip system does get frustrating for some people. I understand why it's there, and it does a good job explaining, but still, it's frustrating for some.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Givebutter does great with the database and CRM, allowing recurring transactions. It's easy to use with no extra payments, saving money. I can send end-of-year summaries to donors, eliminating manual tasks.

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> Thank you so much for sharing this, Thomas 💛 we’re really glad to hear Givebutter has been easy to use and helping save time, especially with things like end-of-year summaries.

We also really appreciate you calling this out. Totally hear you on the raffle setup, it can depend a bit on how you’re looking to run it, and we’d be happy to help walk through options that might work better for your use case.

For tips, we understand how that can feel for some donors. Just a heads up that this is something you can customize or turn off entirely depending on what works best for your organization.

If you ever want to explore setups or need a hand, our team is always here 24/7 and happy to help 💛

 ### 4. Streamlined All-in-One Hub for Nonprofits with Fast, Responsive Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Haleina C. | Marketing/Special Events Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

What I really appreciate about Givebutter is that it works as a streamlined, all-in-one platform for most nonprofits. Before signing up for Plus, I relied on several different tools—Mailchimp for email marketing, Eventbrite for ticket sales, and a bunch of spreadsheets to track donor and fundraising data. Givebutter has made my job easier by serving as a central hub for most of what I was already using. I also appreciate how fast and responsive the team is, especially after joining.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

There are some limits on customization, especially around user permissions. I wish there were a way to tailor a user’s role so they only have access to certain features, since every situation is different. I also wish there were more options for customizing emails and texts, including additional templates to choose from. Another improvement would be the ability to send text messages back and forth through the Engage tab; that would be helpful when I need to contact a donor without having to use a cellular device. Pricing-wise, I think it’s very reasonable.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Givebutter is helping me solve the problem of having to use multiple platforms like Mailchimp, Eventbrite, and spreadsheets. I’m a big believer that less is more, and from a convenience standpoint, it’s really nice to be able to handle most of my day-to-day tasks in one place. Givebutter is also helping us by providing a centralized platform to collect donations across all kinds of fundraising campaigns. Performance-wise, I enjoy using the software because it’s easy to maneuver and navigate.

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> Thanks so much for such a detailed review, Haleina. We really appreciate you taking the time to share this 💛
We’re so glad to hear Givebutter has helped bring everything into one place and made your day-to-day work easier, especially coming from using multiple tools before.

And thank you for the thoughtful feedback around user permissions, customization, and messaging. Those are really valuable insights, and we’ve shared them with our team as we continue improving.

Wishing you continued success with all your campaigns!

 ### 5. Streamlined Donor Management with Givebutter

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Info A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

I use Givebutter for donor management in our 501c3 animal rescue. I love the features like pathways, emails, and texting, which help maintain communication with donors, regardless of donation size. The organization of donors has improved significantly, as everything is now in one easy-to-access place. The ease of use and customer service stand out for me. The platform makes it quicker and easier to communicate with donors. Setting up our organization was incredibly easy on Givebutter.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

We have had a hard time getting our current contact list transferred over to Givebutter. It is difficult to translate the spreadsheet from Mailchimp to the exact format Givebutter needs, especially with 5,000 subscribers.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Givebutter organizes our donor management, centralizing donor info, and simplifying communication. It's easy to use, with great customer service, and helps us communicate with donors efficiently.

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> What a wonderful review, thank you so much for sharing it! 💛

We're so happy to hear that Givebutter has helped streamline your donor management and made it easier to stay connected with supporters of all giving levels. It means a lot to know that features like Pathways, email, and texting have helped bring everything together in one place.

Thank you as well for sharing your experience with contact imports. We know moving a large subscriber list can sometimes be a challenge, and feedback like yours helps us continue improving the onboarding experience.

Thanks for all you do for your animal rescue, and thank you for being part of the Givebutter community! 😊

 ### 6. Transparent Fees for Nonprofits, But High Card Charges

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dennis O. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

I was impressed with the Givebutter team when I signed up because there was a lot of due diligence making sure that we were a nonprofit. They also considered that someone my age might not be on social media, and I was very impressed with that.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

I'm concerned about the high fees that donors encounter when using credit cards on Givebutter. Some donors have felt that they were being charged exorbitantly, with fees almost reaching 20%. This situation causes me concern as it doesn't just affect Givebutter but also impacts my nonprofit by potentially leaving donors disgruntled about giving money.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Givebutter allows me to receive donations with the assurance that 100% goes to the nonprofit.

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> Hi Dennis! Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughtful review! We're so glad to hear that our nonprofit verification process and our efforts to make the platform accessible left a positive impression.

We also appreciate you raising your concerns about donor fees. One of Givebutter's goals is to provide organizations with flexibility in how fees are handled. For example, organizations can choose to cover processing fees themselves or hide them from supporters, and when optional platform tips are enabled, supporters can decide whether or not they'd like to leave a tip. Those optional tips also help fund Givebutter and, through the Givebutter Guarantee, can cover eligible processing fees on behalf of nonprofits.

We'd love the opportunity to learn more about your experience and help ensure your donation settings are working in the best way for your organization. If you have a few minutes, please reach out to our Support team. We'd be happy to walk through the available options with you and answer any questions.

Thank you again for your feedback and for choosing Givebutter to support your nonprofit. 💛

 ### 7. Great for Small Non-Profits, Needs Feature Enhancements

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sara U. | Sr. Staff UX Researcher | Finance & Supply Chain Workflows, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

I like that Givebutter is free or low cost, which was a big reason for choosing it as our fundraising and donor/member CRM. The CRM is quite powerful, allowing us to see who our members and donors are and how much they have contributed over time. I find the AI insights about our donors helpful. Givebutter's customer service is incredibly responsive, and the initial setup was pretty seamless.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

There are some key features that are missing with the platform and there are some UI/UX issues that can sometimes be problematic. The platform is missing a virtual storefront for selling things like merchandise. There are workarounds by using the Events feature, but it is definitely not ideal. We have also encountered issues with not being able to move funds from the Givebutter Wallet back into our Payouts in order to process refunds and partial refunds or documenting off-platform refunds are not supported. Donors who want to remove/reduce the tips and processing fees sometimes can't figure out how to do that.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Givebutter to manage donors and collect donations effortlessly. It offers AI insights on donors, streamlines tracking, and integrates fund management. Givebutter replaces our manual processes and multiple donation platforms, simplifying our fundraising.

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such thoughtful feedback 💛 We’re really happy to hear Givebutter has helped simplify your fundraising and donor management processes, especially replacing manual workflows and multiple platforms. Hearing that the CRM, AI insights, and customer support have been helpful truly means a lot to us. 😊

We also really appreciate you calling out the areas where the platform could improve. Feedback like this is incredibly valuable, especially around storefront functionality, Wallet refund workflows, partial refunds, and documenting offline refunds. We know those use cases are important, and conversations like this help our team continue improving the platform experience.

Thanks again for being part of the Givebutter community and for sharing such detailed insights with us 💛

 ### 8. User-Friendly and Efficient, with a Helpful Chatbot

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Program Development | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

We are very happy with how user-friendly and efficient the platform is. We also like the little chat bot that helps answers questions. Also performed well at the event.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

We don’t like that the tips option starts so high; with the added fees, it feels like an extra burden. It’s also hard to see what the bidding experience looks like from a person’s perspective unless I register myself. Adding cash donations is a bit difficult as well. On top of that, it groups the total donation amount with ticket sales, which can make it seem like someone is making a bigger donation than they actually are. Also does not auto integrate into excel. Also wish bundling was easier, we did not want to make 50 different options to run a 5 for $100 option.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Givebutter helped solve our silent auction problem; it’s been hard to find a platform that can really help with that. It also allowed for more streamlined raffle ticket presales.

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> Thank you so much for sharing this. We’re really happy to hear Givebutter has been user-friendly and worked well for your event, especially for auctions and raffles 😊

We also really appreciate you calling these things out. Just to share, some features, like tip settings, are fully customizable, so you can set them up however works best for your organization.

For things like viewing the bidding experience or adding cash donations, we’d be happy to walk you through it. There are some easier ways to manage those, and we’re always here to help.

Our support team is available 24/7, so feel free to reach out anytime. We’re always happy to guide you step by step 💛

 ### 9. Easy Campaign Setup and Time-Saving Automated Deposits

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amy D. | Alumni Engagement Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

The campaigns are easy to set up, as it creates a step-by-step walk through so you cant forget anything! The automated deposit feature is helpful because it saves time and having to remember to push donations through every day/week. I also just discovered the custom field under Ticketing, so now when a person purchases a ticket, you can collect their t-shirt size or another piece of critical info.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

The only downside I can think of currently is that when money is pushed through to our checking account, the transaction doesnt list what campaign it came from. But, on the flip side it's pretty easy to find out by logging in.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been platform hopping for a while, and have finally found the right fit with GB. It was easy to implement, easy to set up, and is very user friendly. The fact that it is also a ticketing site is extremely helpful in keeping things all in one place and not having to use multiple platforms.

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> Thank you so much for this feedback, Amy! So glad the step-by-step setup and automated deposits are saving you time, and that the custom ticketing fields are coming in handy

Totally get what you mean about the bank statement—while we can’t add campaign details there, you can always log into your dashboard and pull a report to see exactly which campaign each deposit came from. Makes tracking super easy!

Really appreciate you taking the time to share this 💛

 ### 10. Versatile Fundraising Tool with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rachel B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

I like that Givebutter has an app, so I can use it with my iPad, my phone when we're at events. It's easy to just pull up and see who is present and who has paid for tickets to events. It's also easy to see what has been donated before. I like that it gives the option for the people that donate to pay the fee, because most people allow themselves to pay, and so we don't have to pay those few dollars or even more depending on how much somebody donates. That is really nice, that we aren't always responsible for the fee of using Givebutter.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

So, recently, we had an event at the farm. We used the app to do some stuff, but it wasn't super user-friendly when it came to trying to stop the sale of a certain ticket. It was very difficult to find that, and I can't remember. I might have even had to go on a desk, which was not convenient. I wasn't the owner of the account even though I'm the executive director, and I handle everything. My access was limited, and so I wasn't able to do some of the things that I expected to be able to do that I needed to do to do my job. And that could have been on my boss. Maybe he was the one that was supposed to set that up. I'm not sure. But that was a bit frustrating.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Givebutter solves tracking event attendance, payments, and expected rates. It manages donations, offers discount codes, and enhances customer relations by helping us thank donors and track everything.

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> Thank you so much for sharing this, Rachel 💛 We’re really glad to hear that the mobile app has been helpful for managing events and keeping track of attendees and donations, that’s exactly what we aim to make easy 😊

We also appreciate your feedback on ticket management and access. It sounds like this may be related to user permissions, since certain actions (like editing or stopping ticket sales) depend on the access level set within the account. This can usually be adjusted by the account admin to give you the level of control you need.

Your feedback on the mobile experience is also really helpful, and we’ll be sure to share it with our team as we continue improving usability.

Wishing you continued success with your events and fundraising! 🎉

 ### 11. Affordable All-in-One with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristi O. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

I like that Givebutter provides a central repository for our campaign page, ticket sales, and auction fundraising, which automatically integrates with our ongoing donor management. The front end user interface is very easy to use, and the campaign page setup was quite easy. I appreciate that the Givebutter team is very attentive to issues that arise. Additionally, we liked that Givebutter is an all-in-one solution, and it's the cheapest option with great customer support.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

The backend utility of Givebutter needs work. I need to be able to do more editing to subject lines on auto emails, and have bidder and ticket integration so it's not two steps. The mobile app and the desktop experience do not seem to be in sync. You can check people out on the app, but not on desktop. You can assign bidder numbers on desktop but not on app. The app was not charging fees for admin running vaulted cards. For the 'buy it now', a bidder could only buy once, not in multiples. All 'buy it now' items sent an email saying 'Congratulations on Winning', which doesn't make sense for a paddle raise or raffle ticket purchase. Tech support/updates seem hodgepodge.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Givebutter provides a central repository for our campaign page, ticket sales, and auction fundraising, integrated with donor management. The front-end is user-friendly.

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> Hi Kristi, thank you so much for your thoughtful and detailed feedback 💛

We’re really glad to hear that you’ve had a positive experience with the campaign setup, overall ease of use, and support from our team. That truly means a lot to us.

We also appreciate you calling out some of the areas that felt limiting or confusing. For example, with Buy Now items, purchases are currently processed one at a time rather than through a cart-style checkout, so supporters would need to complete each purchase individually. We understand how a more streamlined multi-item checkout experience could be helpful, and we’ve shared that feedback with our team.

You also mentioned differences between the mobile app and desktop experience. While each is designed for slightly different use cases (with the app focused more on live event actions), we completely understand how that can feel inconsistent in practice, and your feedback here is really valuable.

We truly appreciate you taking the time to share all of this. Feedback like yours helps us continue improving, and we’re always here if you’d like to walk through any of these workflows together or explore options that best fit your events.

Thank you again for choosing Givebutter 💛

 ### 12. Effortless Silent Auction Management, User-Friendly Experience

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patrycja B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

I think I love how easy it is to access Givebutter. It's honestly very user-friendly and has all of the things I'm looking for when it comes to technology, especially for silent auctions, which have great options and features. The features are so user-friendly and make it easy to navigate through them, saving me time and effort in listing auction items. I particularly appreciate that it makes the process quick, allowing me to work during my spare time or lunch hours. The initial setup was super easy, as we could transfer things from previous years and just edit them for the new year.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

One thing I dislike about Givebutter is when I am attempting to list a silent auction item, and may not have all of the components yet such as an image of the item, I cannot save the listing as a "draft." The entire listing needs to be "complete" in order to even attempt to save it as a draft.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Givebutter to digitalize our silent auctions, making them accessible and eliminating manual bidding. It's user-friendly, saving me time and effort when listing items. The platform is easy to navigate, and I can use it conveniently during spare time or work breaks.

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> Thank you so much for sharing this, Patrycja 💛 We’re really glad to hear Givebutter has been helpful for your silent auctions and that it’s been easy to use and save you time.

And thank you for calling this out as well. Just to share, an image isn’t required to save an item, but some basic fields (like the item name and a few details) do need to be filled in first. That said, we totally understand how having a more flexible draft option, even for incomplete items, would make things easier, especially when you’re working in short bursts.

We’ve shared this with our team as helpful feedback. And if you ever want help setting things up or run into questions, feel free to chat with us anytime, we’re always happy to help 🤗

 ### 13. Free and User-Friendly, Needs Team Management Improvements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Virginia B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

I love that Givebutter is free to use and relatively user-friendly. It's great that folks can register for the event, join a team, or create a team seamlessly. The cost is a significant advantage since we don't have funds to pay for additional software services. It's exciting to have a good tool that's free of charge, or charged to our donors who can pay the fees. We switched to Givebutter for the peer-to-peer function from MightyCause, and it has been an improvement for sure. It's easier for our donors to navigate, which is important to us.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

When folks have teams, it's really hard for them to get to their own page and see who's given to them. We have to look at it on the backend and only then by pulling reports. It's even hard for us to see that. So the 'team' part of it is sort of clunky and even hidden. Some of the details were hard to figure out. We had several test sites going to get all the little pieces right.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I love that Givebutter is free to use and user-friendly, allowing folks to register, join or create a team for fundraising events without additional costs.

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> Thank you so much for sharing this, Virginia 💛 We’re really glad to hear Givebutter has been a helpful and accessible option for your team, especially with peer-to-peer fundraising and keeping things easy for your donors 😊

And we really appreciate you calling out the team experience. Team members do have the option to see their supporters from their profile, but we hear you that making this more visible and easier to access, especially publicly per team member, would be a big improvement. That’s great feedback, and we’ll be sure to share this with our team 🙏

Wishing you all the best with your fundraising efforts!

 ### 14. Givebutter: A One-Stop Shop for Fundraising with Room for Financial Features Expansion

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Austin S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

I love that Givebutter combines the benefit of social media with very smart financial accounting practices. The consumer-facing platforms are fantastic, especially the fundraising pages, which make it easy to track donor engagements, conduct live fundraising, share goals, and upload stories in progress. These features remind me of platforms like Bandcamp or GoFundMe. I also find the external-facing communications tool really, really nice. The initial setup was extremely easy, which made it simple to get started.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

I would love for Givebutter to continue to level up its financial accounting practices. I would love to be able to run and process credit cards through Givebutter manually. My organization does a lot of live events, and the one thing Givebutter does not do for us right now is allow us to charge credit cards.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Givebutter makes it easy to see all our information in one place, thank donors, and engage them through features like live auction paddle raises.

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> Thank you so much for sharing this, Austin 💛 We’re really glad to hear you’ve been enjoying the fundraising pages, engagement tools, and how easy it was to get started, that means a lot 😊

And thanks for the thoughtful feedback around card processing. For security reasons, we don’t have a way to manually enter full card details in the dashboard, but for live events, you can still collect payments using tools like Tap to Pay or a card reader/terminal.

That said, being able to add cards manually is a really helpful suggestion, and we’ll make sure to pass this along to our team as something to consider for the future.

 ### 15. Easy-to-Use, Organized Payments with Helpful Integrations and Great Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** J F. | School administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

It’s easy to use and makes collecting funds and tracking payments super organized. The UI is simple and straightforward, and everything is easy to find. Integrations are helpful and make it work smoothly with other tools. It runs well without issues, and the overall value is great for what it offers. Support is responsive and onboarding is simple and quick to get started. The AI features also make certain tasks faster and more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

It can take a little time to learn all the features at first since there’s a lot in one platform. A few areas could feel more streamlined, especially when navigating between tools. Some advanced options aren’t super intuitive right away.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Givebutter solves the problem of managing fundraising and payments in multiple places by keeping everything in one platform. It makes it easier to collect donations, track activity, and stay organized. This saves time, reduces confusion, and helps keep everything running smoothly, especially when coordinating events and fundraisers.

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> Such a thoughtful review, JF, thank you so much for sharing this 💛

We’re really glad to hear Givebutter has been helping you stay organized and making payments and fundraising easier to manage, especially with everything in one place 😊

And we appreciate the note about the learning curve and navigation too, that’s really helpful feedback for us as we continue working to make things more intuitive 🙏

Wishing you all the best with your events and fundraisers!

 ### 16. Flexible Fundraising Tool with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jess P. | Fleet Supervisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

I really like how easy it is to set up a campaign with Givebutter. I love all the options for deciding if you want to do something hybrid, in person, or virtual. I also love the fact that you can customize so many different pieces. One thing I especially love is the support. While sometimes I don't get the answers that I need, I am able to get support anytime I need it, which is very important as I typically work on our events in the evenings or on the weekends. Also, having support available twenty-four seven is really important to me and allows me to execute these events easily. I appreciate the customization options for various types of events and that Givebutter has allowed me to create visibility for members of our parent-teacher organization with live stats. I love that I can add more as time goes by and I appreciate that I can decide what I want to use, like custom fields or QR codes, and set that up. I also am pleased that Gift Butter has replaced two other software programs, creating a one-stop shop.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

Specifically, there are quite a few places that Givebutter seems a little bit behind in. One of those places is the way that things display on reporting. Another one is a very common need for auctions, like a paddle raise functionality, that has been in the works for over a year and still is not available. Right now, the way that you have to execute on that in the system is a little bit burdensome during the event. Some of the more technical needs for events are just not quite there, and we are left as organizers to do a lot of workarounds. I think better reporting and also to have better visibility into new features and functionality would be really helpful. Things seem to be dragging on, and only the most popular items are getting addressed, while some of the more impactful items are not as popular but are just as, or more needed.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Givebutter to digitize and simplify our school's fundraising, offering a one-stop shop for displaying information, selling tickets, executing events, and taking payments seamlessly.

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> This is such a thoughtful review, Jess! 💛

I’m really glad to hear how much you’re getting out of the platform, especially being able to run different types of events and have that flexibility all in one place. It’s also wonderful to know that having support available anytime has been helpful for you, especially with your schedule.

I also really appreciate you sharing your experience with reporting and event features like paddle raise. I hear you on how important those are during live events. Our team is actively working on improvements in this area, especially for auctions like paddle raise, and we’re hopeful this will be available in the near future.

Wishing you all the best with your fundraising efforts! 😊

 ### 17. Perfect for Budget-Conscious Non-Profits

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura U. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

I like Givebutter because it's free and web-based, which is important for a small local non-profit like ours with a limited budget. The ticketing system and the ability to create custom URLs for events are features I find valuable. I also appreciate that we can easily integrate the payment portal into our website, which helps us maintain credibility with our users.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

I really don't like how the request for donation to Givebutter isn't easily understood by users. Many users think they are donating to our organization and not the platform.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Givebutter provides a free, easy-to-use, web-based platform for event management and ticketing, allowing us as a tiny non-profit to take credit cards and track attendance without a budget. We can create custom URLs and integrate payment portals into our website, maintaining credibility with our users.

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> Thank you so much for sharing this, Laura 💛 We’re really glad Givebutter has been a helpful, budget-friendly solution for your team, especially with ticketing, custom URLs, and website integration 😊

We also appreciate your feedback about the tip experience. You’re right, clarity is important, and we’re continuing to improve how this is communicated to donors.

Wishing you all the best with your fundraising and events! 🎉

 ### 18. Streamlined Fundraising with Personal Touch

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Penny N. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

I really enjoy the newsletter feature with the editing ability for buttons and links, inserting videos, which gives it a very nice personal feel. It's also great that I can send out mass emails while keeping them personal by tagging specific names or donation amounts, which makes it feel personal but also saves me time. I like its ability to track and easily manage donors and their data. The direct communication with donors is very helpful and easy to read, and I find tagging specific donors really helpful.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

I think having more robust reporting features would be helpful. The specific tags like the Lybunt and the Sybunt are very helpful in finding groups, but it would be nice if there was one big page that had all the reporting features.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Givebutter integrates communication with my team, donors, and supporters, allowing efficient management and personal feel in donor interactions.

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> This is such a lovely review, Penny! 💛

I’m so happy to hear you’re enjoying the newsletter features and personalization tools. Being able to connect with donors in a more personal way while still saving time is exactly what we hope to make possible, so it’s wonderful to know that’s been your experience.

I also really appreciate your feedback on reporting. That’s a great callout, especially having everything in one place, and I’ve shared this with our team as we continue improving.

Wishing you all the best with your fundraising efforts! 😊

 ### 19. Givebutter is Smooth Like Butter But Butter Can Always Be Better

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ann L. | Executive Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

Whenever we have questions, the chat feature is always accessible, and the human staff is helpful and quick to respond. Overall, the platform is also very easy to understand and use.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

The tip feature although I understand the purpose, we have had many donor complaints.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Givebutter helps solve the problem of high credit card processing fees. It also lets us keep all of our digital payments in one place, which is AMAZING!

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> Ann, thank you for the thoughtful review! 💛

We're so happy to hear that our Support team has been helpful and responsive whenever questions come up. Knowing that both the platform and the people behind it have made your experience a positive one means a lot to us.

We also appreciate your feedback regarding the tip feature. While many organizations find it helpful, we understand that every donor community is different. Organizations do have the option to adjust or remove tips depending on what works best for their goals and supporters, and we're always grateful for feedback that helps us improve the donor experience.

Thank you for trusting Givebutter with your fundraising efforts! 😊

 ### 20. Streamlined Event Management with Minor Form Setup Challenges

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

I like that Givebutter is very easy and intuitive. The user experience is great, and the initial setup was very easy. I used it for organizing a golf event I hosted for my nonprofit, and it helped with organizing the participants and financials efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

We hosted a golf event, and our participants had to put in four different names. Creating a custom form for this was a little difficult. I was only able to look them up by the purchaser rather than individuals. It would be nice to have a participants list that you can add on to rather than creating custom forms for it.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Givebutter helps me organize participants and manage financials for my nonprofit events easily. I love its intuitive user experience, though creating custom forms for events can be tricky as I need a participants list instead of looking up by purchaser.

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> Thank you for the thoughtful review! 💛

We're thrilled to hear Givebutter helped make your golf event easier to organize and that the platform provided a smooth experience for managing registrations and finances.

We appreciate your feedback regarding participant lists and custom forms as well. Insights like these help us better understand how organizations use Givebutter for events, and we're grateful you took the time to share your ideas. 😊

 ### 21. All-in-One Fundraising Platform with Powerful Features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cassie W. | Communications Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

I like that there are multiple features on the platform. The ability to set up fundraising pages, sell tickets for events, track transacations, keep track of donor information, and send marketing emails.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

I think there could be a few more features like the ability to add custom fields to only specific tickets or being able to change the words of the link "I'd just like to donate" in the checkout form, as we've had some people who are confused by that.

I know there are other things which I have thought, in the moment, might be a good feature, but I can't remember what they were.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Consolidating our fundraising and emailing needs. The benefit is that we don't have to coordinate contact lists in multiple systems.

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> Aww, Cassie, this is such a lovely review 💛 so happy to hear everything from fundraising pages to emails is helping make things easier for you! About the custom fields, you can actually add them to a specific ticket only, so it doesn’t have to apply to all tickets. We totally hear you about the checkout wording, too. Thanks for your love and for choosing Givebutter 💛 can’t wait to see all the amazing fundraising you do!

 ### 22. Ideal for Nonprofits, But Needs Better Setup Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maddie C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

I like that Givebutter is easy to use and is specifically designed for nonprofits, which makes it more attractive than some competitors like Eventbrite. I appreciate that it doesn't take large fees, allowing more money to go directly to charity. It also made setting up our charity gala straightforward, and I was assured that many aspects of the platform help with transparency.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

I spent a large amount of time with Givebutter setting up the charity as a beneficiary to our account. After getting the green light from Givebutter that all donations would go straight to that charity, they messed something up, and the charity was no longer the beneficiary. There was no way to reverse this, and it caused us a lot of problems, especially with donors who wanted tax-deductible receipts.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Givebutter for selling tickets and getting donations for events. It's easy for nonprofits, with low fees ensuring more donations go to charity, unlike Eventbrite.

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> Thanks so much for sharing your experience, Maddie! 💛 We’re really glad to hear that it made setting up your gala and managing donations easier, and that our low fees help more funds go directly to your charity.

We’re so sorry to hear about the issue with the charity beneficiary; it’s absolutely not what we want anyone to experience. We really appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and we’ll make sure our team continues improving this process to prevent it in the future.

If you’d like, we’re happy to chat or clarify things. Wishing your nonprofit all the best, and we’re cheering you on every step of the way!

 ### 23. Easy Setup, Clear Interface, and Fast Payouts

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

its easy to setup, the interface is clear and well laid out. i especially like the option to turn off tipping and fees for donors!

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

ive only been using GB for a few months and the two campaigns ive run have been successful. the payouts are fast and clear and i havent had any issues. perhaps a bit more flexibility in the layout of my campaign visually would help?

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it helps me create tailored campaigns quickly and also makes the thank you / follow up with donors quite easy. the costs are in line with other providers.

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> Thank you for sharing your experience! 💛

We're so glad to hear your campaigns have been successful and that you've found Givebutter easy to set up and navigate. It's also wonderful to hear that features like customizable tipping and fee settings have helped you create the experience that's right for your donors.

We appreciate your feedback about campaign customization as well. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts, and we're excited to continue supporting your fundraising efforts! 😊

 ### 24. Ease of Use, But Needs Key Improvements

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

I find Givebutter easy to use with a low bar to entry. People can go from zero to effectively using it in little time. These features mean we spend less time managing and working with data and more time leveraging that data for effective connections, fundraising, and communicating. The initial setup was easy; even an intern who is a little tech-savvy but not a professional handled it.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

Four things that we wish would be addressed: 1. The donation receipts it sends do NOT include the full amount of the donation, just the net amount. This is NOT correct by federal tax law and takes lots of manual intervention to fix. For example, if a donor gives $100+$5 (to cover processing fees), Givebutter just gives the donor a receipt for $100. This isn't correct because the donor is actually giving us $105 and then we are choosing to apply the $5 to offset Givebutter and payment processor fees. Donors complain as they aren't credited with the full value of their donation. 2. The peer-to-peer fundraising pages include a box that automatically sets a 15% tip to Givebutter under the rationale that Givebutter is free and this tip offsets those costs. This is NOT true as we pay for Givebutter, we are NOT on the free plan. While donors can reduce this tip to 0%, it takes a few extra clicks. The biggest issue is that we think Givebutter is lying by saying it is free for us to use. We pay an annual fee! 3. The ability to import contacts and apply custom tags to them in one step. Overall the import contacts by CSV file lacks some depth and could be improved. This would further bolster to selling point of GB that is allows staff to spend less time managing data and more time leveraging data for impact. 4. This is a minor point compared to the above three... but some menus and items lack customization capabilities. For example, the drop-down menu to specify the relationship between two contacts only has pre-defined categories. It would be much more helpful to be able to customize that list and create custom relationships. We understand that there's a trade-off between ease of use and customizations, so that's why this is a minor point.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Givebutter for managing contacts, email communications, and online donations. It's easy to use and lets my team focus more on leveraging data for better connections and fundraising.

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> Thanks so much for your detailed feedback, Alex! 💛 We’re thrilled to hear that it is easy to use and helps your team spend more time connecting with donors and fundraising rather than managing data. That really means a lot to us. 😊

A few quick clarifications on the points you mentioned:
1. Our donation receipts actually show the full donation amount, including any processing fees or optional tips, plus the tax-deductible portion, so donors can see exactly what they contributed.
2. The tip is optional! You can disable tipping on your campaigns if you prefer, and donors can also opt out. This way, your org still gets 100% of donations, minus the standard processing/campaign fee.
3. You can apply tags when importing contacts via CSV, and there are bulk actions in the dashboard to manage them further if needed.
4. Some menus and dropdowns, like contact relationships, are pre-set to keep things simple, but we really appreciate your feedback and will share it with the team for future improvements.

We’re always happy to chat and walk you through any of this if you want a deeper look; just reach out anytime! 💛 Thanks again for choosing Givebutter, Alex, and we can’t wait to see your org continue to thrive.

 ### 25. User-Friendly Fundraising with Flexible Pricing

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ambar M. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

I find Givebutter's user interface very easy to use and not complicated, which is a big plus. Creating pages is simpler compared to some of its competitors, which is crucial for us as we need to set up pages quickly for different chapters. I also like that Givebutter offers options on pricing tiers, which helps us manage costs effectively. The initial setup was very easy, and the interface is friendly and user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

I think the main thing is adding a 'source payment' on the backend for easy reporting to what chapter a donation was made. Reporting doesn't seem very intuitive on the free tier.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Givebutter provides a platform to accept donations easily and has a user-friendly interface. Creating pages for our chapters is straightforward and not complicated, and the pricing tiers offer flexibility.

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> This is such a wonderful review, Ambar! 💛

Thank you so much for sharing this with us, it truly means a lot. I’m so happy to hear that the platform has been easy to use and helpful for setting up your chapter pages quickly. That’s exactly what we aim for, so it’s really great to know it’s working well for you.

I also really appreciate you pointing out the reporting experience and the need for clearer source tracking, that kind of feedback helps us continue improving.

Wishing you all the very best! 😊

 ### 26. Streamlined Fundraising, Slight Donor UX Challenge

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marin W.

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

I really love Givebutter's wonderful user interface. It's super easy to find everything there, and I don't need to contact support whenever I have a question because it's really intuitive. I'm just able to figure it out myself which is valuable when it takes a lot of time to learn how to use new software. I didn't have to spend too much time learning it. Also, using Givebutter to host auctions is incredibly easy, and it allows us to keep records of transactions in a really simple place while integrating it with our preexisting website.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

The user journey on the donor end is sometimes a little unclear. When trying to direct people to our website, the process can get a bit sticky, especially with the dropdown buttons not always being clear about what needs to be filled out. It's confusing for the donors if there are different conditional properties popping up.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Givebutter makes it easy to host auctions and integrates with our website, keeping transaction records simple. It's intuitive and user-friendly, so I rarely need support.

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> Thanks so much for the love, Marin 💛 We’re really happy to hear Givebutter is making auctions and transaction tracking easier for you!

We totally hear you about the donor experience sometimes being unclear. If there’s anything confusing with directing donors to your website or the dropdown buttons, we’d be more than happy to walk through it with you and explore alternatives. Our team also really appreciates any helpful feedback like this; it helps us make the platform even better for everyone.

We’re always here 24/7 if you want to chat or get guidance in real time! Wishing you all the very best, Marin! 💛

 ### 27. Givebutter ended up causing us more work and frustration the night of our large fundraising event.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Audrey J. | Registration Chair, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

Givebutter has excellent customer support. It is easy to use and makes sense. There are many features that are easily implemented, such as making custom reports and communicating with our contacts. Our supporters can easily access and make donations through our website. Having the mobile app available is also extremely helpful.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

There are two big downsides to using Givebutter for the type of event that we host, which is mainly sponsor tables. With over 500 guests attending, it is imperative to have as many guests registered beforehand as possible to avoid a backlog at the registration desk the night of the event. It requires several email communications with sponsor table purchasers and the people that they have invited to remind them to register. Even though we can manually register people on the laptops when they are at the venue, it still requires them to access their emails and complete the card payment option. All of this takes time, and inevitably there are people waiting longer than they should. If we continue to use Givebutter for our main fundraiser then hopefully the guests that are familiar with how this works will help alleviate the problem by registering before the event.

The second issue is much more problematic and is really going to determine whether or not we continue to use this platform. Since our event is not online, we are manually inputing and declaring all the winners. For multiple sale items this results in a tedious, time-consuming process. Instead of requiring only two clicks to record a bidder for that item and continue with the next bidder, it takes up to 8 clicks. When we have over 200 entries for one item alone all these extra steps adds up to a lot of time. We are used to a system that allows us to input a sale AND easily remove that sale if it was entered in error. Because Givebutter immediately requests payment, it does not allow us that flexibility.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Givebutter allows us to streamline our events and our supporters to donate easily..

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts! 💛 We totally hear you about the challenges with large events, managing sponsor tables, getting guests registered, and handling auction entries can definitely be tricky when you have hundreds of attendees.

We do have a feature request in the works for auctions that we hope will make guest registration smoother and help speed up recording bidders, so it should save a lot of those extra clicks and make corrections easier. For the registration side, we know having everyone registered beforehand can be tough, and we’re always looking for ways to make that process more seamless for large events.

We really appreciate your detailed feedback; it helps us know exactly where to focus so events like yours can run as smoothly as possible. Our team is always here if you want to chat through strategies or get tips to make your next fundraiser even easier.

 ### 28. Easy, Intuitive Giving with Clear Donor & Fund Tracking

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Religious Institutions | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

I really appreciate being able to view donor information and track donations to specific funds, along with detailed breakdowns by date and whether gifts are recurring or one-time. It’s also very easy and intuitive for donors to give through. The Q & A section is also very helpful, for example, with figuring out annual giving statements for taxes. It was easy to navigate, the articles were clear to understand, and it had very helpful resource links.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

Harder to navigate to get to funds, which is what I mainly track. The app is also not very intuitive and doesn't have as many details or information that I would like to have on the fly at times, like tracking donations.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking recurring and one time donations, so we can see, by our fundraising model, how effective it is and how much we made in a month. Printing out statements is very easy.

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> Aww, thank you so much for sharing this! 💛 We’re really glad the donor tracking and resources have been helpful for you. We totally hear you about navigating to funds and getting info quickly, our team is always here round the clock if you ever run into anything tricky or hard to find. Thanks for your love and for choosing Givebutter 💛 can’t wait to see all the amazing things you accomplish!

 ### 29. User-Friendly Platform, Perfect for Nonprofits

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sofia W.

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

I use Givebutter as an admin for our nonprofit, and I enjoy how simple it is to use for both admin users and those donating. It makes it easier for us to track all donations and is very user-friendly for donors as well. I also appreciate how organized the website is for tracking purposes, and it helps because people are more inclined to donate to our cause if the platform is easy to use. Plus, having the ability to track past donors and reach back out is a great feature.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

I personally haven't run into anything quite yet. Possibly not being able to add more than one payment, is what I have heard previously. When people are added to a silent auction apparently they cannot change or add payment options.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Givebutter makes it easier for us to track donations and is user-friendly for donors. People are more inclined to donate if the platform is easy to use, and it allows for tracking and reconnecting with past donors.

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> Thanks so much for sharing this, Sofia! 😊 We’re so happy to hear the platform is making things easier for you and your donors.

Just to clarify about payment methods, bidders can absolutely add more cards if they want! They just can’t delete a card once it’s linked, especially if the auction is ongoing, but they should be able to select the card they want to use for a payment.

Feel free to chat with us anytime. We’d be happy to go over this more so you can relay it to your bidders and supporters. We’re always here for you! 💛

 ### 30. Smooth Donations with User-Friendly Interface

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristen L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

I like that you can integrate Givebutter into our organization's website, allowing us to keep people on our site where they can read about the work we are doing without having to navigate through multiple sites. Additionally, I think it's relatively user-friendly, which allows new staff members to use the platform with relative ease.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

One of the things we really struggled with the event was that we couldn't issue tickets from the back end. We would have liked to have been able to do that. Instead, we had to make tickets publicly available to issue them. We also struggled with integrating into salesforce the people who attended the event but didn't purchase their own tickets and had to do that manually.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Givebutter helps us process donations smoothly with website integration, and collects payments for event tickets and auction purchases in a streamlined manner.

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> Thanks so much for sharing, Kristen! 💛 We’re thrilled that Givebutter is helping make donations smooth and easy for your team, and that the platform is user-friendly for new staff. 😊

We’re super grateful for your feedback; it’s already in our pipeline as we continue improving. Wishing your organization all the best and cheering you on to succeed in everything you do!

 ### 31. Givebutter Made Campaign Setup Fast and Hassle-Free

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Doug K. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

Givebutter is simple to set up. I was able to get our first campaign up and running quickly and no hassles.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

We did experience some user interface issues but they were quick to resolve without any downside to our campaign.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Givebutter gives us a platform where we can run multiple types of campaigns.

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> Thanks, Doug! 💛

We're thrilled to hear your first campaign was easy to set up and running in no time. We also appreciate you sharing your experience with the UI issues and are glad they were resolved quickly.

Thanks for being part of the Givebutter community, and happy fundraising! 😊

 ### 32. Easy Engagement Emails That Connect with Donors

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chanterries R. | Founder, President/CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

That I am able to create engagement emails to send to my donors.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

Cost. We are nonprofit and like to limit our costs as much as possible.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping me to track donations and donors. It is also giving me a crm to engage with my donors and create campaigns

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> Thank you, Chanterries! 💛

Building meaningful connections with supporters is so important, and we're glad the platform has been helpful in that effort.

We appreciate your feedback and thank you for trusting Givebutter with your mission! 😊

 ### 33. User-Friendly and Reliable, But Event Tools Could Be Stronger

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Missy S. | Funding and Communication Liaison, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

Givebutter is a solid, user-friendly platform that works really well for what we need. We use it for event ticketing, online silent auctions, and website donations, and it’s been reliable and easy to manage. It’s straightforward for both our team and our donors, which saves a lot of time during busy event seasons.

I also appreciate that it integrates seamlessly with Stripe, making payment processing simple and transparent. For a free tool, it offers a lot of flexibility without being overly complicated; everything works the way it should.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

Overall, Givebutter is a great free tool, but a few areas could be improved. The tip function can be confusing for donors, often making fees look higher than they are, which sometimes causes frustration unless we explain how to adjust it.

On the administrative side, the event management tools are somewhat limited. I was glad to see the new table seating feature added, but for larger events like galas, more robust planning and tracking options would make a big difference.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Givebutter has streamlined many of our fundraising and event management tasks by providing a unified platform for online donations, event ticketing, and silent auctions. Because everything is integrated and uses Stripe for payments, we avoid juggling multiple tools and reduce errors in processing and reconciliation.

The ease of setup for campaigns and events means our team spends less time on technical logistics and more time engaging with donors and executing mission-driven content. This improved efficiency allows us to focus on telling the story of transformation at Western Michigan Adult & Teen Challenge rather than wrestling with tools.

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> Thank you so much for sharing your feedback! We really appreciate your thoughts, Missy!

Regarding the tip function, admins have flexibility; you can choose to hide it or not show it on checkout at all. As for event management, we hear you! While our table seating and ticketing tools aim to make planning smoother, we know larger events like galas can benefit from more robust tracking and planning options. Your feedback helps guide our improvements, and we’re always working to make the platform even better for everyone. 💛

 ### 34. Centralized Platform with Room for Data Management Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lydia P. | Private Luxury VIP Host & Luxury Event Broker

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

I like that Givebutter had an all-in-one setup, which made it really helpful to manage tickets, donations, and a fundraising page all in one place rather than juggling multiple tools. I also appreciated the promo codes and tracking feature, which allowed us to track and create outreach accountability by giving leaders and host committee members the option to distribute promo codes individually. The flexibility in allowing guests to donate during checkout, or choose a donate only option, made it easier to capture donations. I found the user experience to be cleaner, with a simple checkout flow and understandable confirmations. Additionally, sharing links was simple, which made promotions straightforward. The centralization of everything in Givebutter streamlined operations so we didn't have to check multiple places to access information, which we definitely appreciated.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

Uploading our personal list of data into the system was very difficult. Keeping the data clean was challenging too. Handling refunds or repurposing money that's already been donated after the fact was cumbersome. It would be helpful to apply funds internally without needing to cancel or fully revise records.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Givebutter centralizes ticket sales, donations, and promotional tracking, streamlining our charity event processes in one place. It simplifies promo code use and tracking, and offers flexible giving options, enhancing donation capture and user experience.

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> Thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback, Lydia! 💛 We’re really glad to hear that the all-in-one setup and flexibility have made managing your events and donations easier. We also appreciate your notes on where the process could be smoother, like importing data and handling refunds. Your insight is super helpful as we keep working to improve things. We’d love to learn more about how we can improve, especially the importing part, so please feel free to reach out to us at feedback@givebutter.com. We’re really grateful for you!

Wishing you continued success with your fundraising! 🌟

 ### 35. All-in-One Fundraising Platform for Tickets, Donations, and Auctions

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

I like that its an all encompassing site for fundraising. We used it to sell tickets to an event, promote donations and do an online auction. We also had an auction and it was fairly straight forward to upload items/links etc. . Specific to auction, it was easy yo edit items after the fact when we caught mistakes. Also, one of the bidders accidentally overbid and we were able to troubleshoot easily.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

Parts of it feel less intuitive. I was trying to pull a report showing all sales and donations, and then break down how much money came from each ticket type versus open donations, but I couldn’t figure out how to do that.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm a volunteer chair for a PTA fundraising event. It allowed us to sell tickets very easily as well as set up an online auction.

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> Thanks so much for sharing your experience! 😊 We’re glad to hear the event, auction, and ticketing setup went smoothly and that troubleshooting was easy.

For breaking down sales by ticket type versus donations, we actually have a transaction report that gives a full itemized breakdown. We’d be happy to help you get set up with that so you can see exactly what you need. Feel free to chat with us anytime, we’re here around the clock and always happy to lend a hand!

 ### 36. Effortless Campaign Replication with User-Friendly Interface

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erin G.

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

I like that the interface is useful, easy to use, and easy to share. The areas where I can add donations are helpful, especially for any offline donations we received, not through the Givebutter platform.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

I wish we could have a dedicated link on our website that's our organization's website address and not have it be Givebutter's website address. I think for the branding, it makes it seem really nice to have the link be able to be on our page and be more integrated with our website's architecture. I would like to use it with QuickBooks, but we're not a member of the right level of Givebutter, so we can't integrate easily with QuickBooks.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Givebutter makes it easy and quick to replicate and create fundraising campaigns year after year.

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> Erin this is such a lovely review 💛 so happy to hear creating and sharing campaigns has been easy for you! Regarding the link on your website, you can set it on your campaign page so that when supporters click your campaign logo, it routes straight to your website. If you ever want a hand setting that up, our team would be happy to walk you through it. Thanks for your love and for choosing Givebutter 💛 can’t wait to see all the amazing campaigns you create!

 ### 37. Efficient Donor Tracking with Givebutter

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hades H.

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

I like the ability to do a year-to-year comparison with Givebutter, as it helps me see if we're on track with our fundraising goals by comparing how much money we raised at the same time last year. I also appreciate the email feature for new donors and donations, which reminds me when I need to write thank-you letters.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

I wish I could mark in Givebutter when I send a thank you letter on someone's profile. I wish I could add a note in Givebutter to say this person has received a thank you letter so I could keep track of it.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Givebutter to keep track of new donors and donations. It allows me to compare yearly fundraising and sends emails that remind me to write thank you letters.

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> Hey Hades! Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts 💛 So glad the year-to-year comparisons and email reminders are helping you stay on top of fundraising and donor outreach.

About tracking thank-you letters, we totally hear you! One workaround is that if you’re sending your thank-yous via email in Engage, you can track them there. We also have a feature request that lets you export contact activity, which can show when someone got an email or interacted with a message. Hopefully, that helps make things a bit easier while we continue looking at ways to improve this.

Thanks again for sharing your feedback, and wishing you all the best with your donors and campaigns

 ### 38. Seamless Fundraising and Event Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mariam M.

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

I like how seamless the process is with Givebutter. It's great that anyone the organizer wants to add as a volunteer can be included to help with collecting funds during the event. I also appreciate that getting tickets for events can be done through Givebutter, so all funds collected from tickets to donations can be tracked within the organization's account. The initial setup was simple, which made getting started easy.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

For now, I feel like it has a pretty good user experience, but I feel like if I use it more, I will definitely have more areas to critique. Adding better editing options on the admin side.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Givebutter helps us go paper-free, simplifies counting funds after events, and allows seamless addition of volunteers for fundraising. It streamlines tracking all funds, from ticket sales to donations, in our organization's account.

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> Mariam, thanks so much for sharing your feedback! We’re so glad the platform has made fundraising and event management seamless for you and that adding volunteers and tracking funds has been easy. Totally hear you on wanting more editing options on the admin side. We’d love to learn more about what we can improve, so feel free to email us anytime at feedback@givebutter.com. Feedback like this really helps us keep improving.

Really appreciate you taking the time to leave a review and wishing you all the best with your upcoming events 💛

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

probably the reports, while it feels user friendly it feel very basic

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

cheap and easy donor database management

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> Thank you for the review, Ozzy! 💛 We're so glad to hear you've found Givebutter easy to use and a cost-effective solution for managing your donor database.

We also appreciate the feedback about reporting. 😊 Thanks for taking the time to share your experience, and we're excited to continue supporting your fundraising efforts!

 ### 40. Streamlines Donor Management Despite Data Import Challenges

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pete H. | N/A, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

I appreciate how Givebutter helps us streamline the donation process, offering easy access to campaign progress and analytics tools. It really helps keep track of communications with donors. I find the usability of its CRM interface to be top of the line compared to others I've used in nonprofit management.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

I would always love more analytics data and easier ways to view it over time, and the variety of criteria we are allowed to use to design queries of our data could use some improvement. The initial setup was long when it comes to the import of data, but straightforward for the most part.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Givebutter helps streamline donor donations, offers easy access to campaign progress and analytics tools, and tracks communications with donors.

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> Such a lovely review, Pete💛 so happy to hear donor management, campaign tracking, and the CRM are making things easier for you! We totally hear you about wanting more analytics and easier ways to query data. Thanks so much for sharing that feedback; it really helps us keep improving. Thanks for your love and for choosing Givebutter 💛 can’t wait to see all the amazing fundraising you do!

 ### 41. Cost-Effective Tool with Email Limitations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angela R.

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

I find Givebutter cost-effective and easy to use for receiving donations at the non-profit I work at. I like being able to use mass emails and see the stats, like how many people open them and how much was donated. It lets me see what's working and what's not, which helps with receiving more donations. The initial setup was straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

I don't like that you have to pay to use email templates, and that the email options are limited. For example, you can't control the spacing and you can't keep an email signature saved.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Givebutter is cost-effective and easy to use for receiving donations. The mass email feature and stats help me understand what's working and enhance donation collection.

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> Such a beautiful review, Angela! Thank you so much. We hear you about the email signature; that’s something we’re actually tracking as a feature request, so you could save a reusable signature in the future. Our team is always looking for ways to improve, and we’re hoping to roll that out someday

Thanks also for sharing your thoughts on the Plus subscription and the email templates. Rest assured, our core features will always stay free, and we’re hoping to add even more templates for the free plan down the line 💛

We really appreciate your continued support and your thoughtful feedback, it helps a lot!

 ### 42. Empowers Non-Profits with Robust Features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike J. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

I really appreciate Givebutter's robust features. The mass email, mass mail, and campaign functionality are particularly useful, making it easy to effectively and efficiently communicate with our donors. These tools help us share how the ministry is accomplishing its vision and secure partner support, which keeps us moving forward. I also found the initial setup very easy, and the Givebutter support team was critical in helping us set it up.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

I think the annual statement functionality on Givebutter could be easier to perform. Producing giving statements is a bit complex and could be simplified.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Givebutter improves our communication processes, boosts campaign visibility, and simplifies fund processing. It enables efficient communication with donors, helps share our ministry's vision, and supports receiving partner backing.

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> Thanks so much for sharing, Mike! 💛 We’re really glad the features and support have been helpful for your campaigns and donor communications. We also appreciate your feedback about annual statements. If you have a moment, we’d love to learn more about how we could make it easier. You can chat with us here or email feedback@givebutter.com anytime. Wishing you continued success with your ministry and fundraising!

 ### 43. Good Interface, Features, and Smooth Website Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jimmy E. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

Good interface, features, integrates with websites

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

Asks for too much extra from donors at checkout

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Professional donation platform and pages

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> Jimmy, thank you for your feedback! 💛

We're glad to hear you've enjoyed the interface, features, and website integrations. Making it easy to create professional donation experiences is something we care deeply about.

We also appreciate your feedback about the checkout experience. Many elements of the donation flow can be customized based on an organization's needs, and we're always looking for ways to make giving as seamless as possible for donors.

Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience! 😊

 ### 44. Modern Look and Easy Donation Entry with Helpful Details

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

I like GB’s modern look. I also like how simple it is to add donations, and I appreciate the details it asks for during the process.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

As a bookkeeper, I’d like to be able to pull a report by deposit date so I can attach that report in QBO. Right now, I have to manipulate the report to get the numbers to match the bank deposit, and this is specifically for physical checks that I receive.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest benefit is being able to add pledges, and we can break them out over time.

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> Thank you for the thoughtful review! 💛

We're happy to hear you're enjoying the platform's modern design and how easy it is to enter and manage donations. It's great to know that pledge tracking has been a valuable tool for your organization as well.

We also appreciate your feedback from a bookkeeper's perspective. Suggestions like this help us better understand the day-to-day needs of our users, and we're grateful you took the time to share it. 😊

 ### 45. Great for small nonprofits!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melinda R. | Development Associate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

I like the ability of having all my donors, partners, contacts in one place. The ability to add financial donations from other sources (like cash or check) and to accept a variety of payments from ACH, credit card, PayPal, etc is also great for our clients. I appreciate that I can look at a donor or household and see how much they have given in the past and which promotions / fundraisers are most effective. And - if everything is in put correctly - GiveButter saves an enormous amount of time in January, as it can prepare my tax contribution letters in just a few minutes!

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

Even with the training videos, I feel as if there is a lot of experimenting necessary to figure out how something works. For example, I didn't realize that there is a limit on how many text to give taglines we can have (only 3 for the free version) AND when I asked the chatbot for assistance, it just sent me in circles without an answer. Frustrating.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I appreciate having all my donor information at my fingertips. It's easy to see how much someone gives and which campaigns are the most effective.

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> Thanks so much for your thoughtful feedback, Melinda! 💛 We really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. Totally understand that learning the platform can take a bit of experimenting, but our support team is just one chat away and available 24/7. O , you can email us anytime at support@givebutter.com. Whenever you need a hand or have questions, we’re here to help. You’re never alone navigating the platform! Thanks again for being such an awesome part of the fam! 🌟

 ### 46. Effortless Payment Management for Nonprofits

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Seth K.

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

I find it really easy to take payments with Givebutter, which is great for managing things on a CME level. I like how we can keep track of our donors and relate to them well; it's great for all that kind of stuff. The setup of Givebutter was super easy for us, and it works really well. Plus, it's free, which is a bonus.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

I definitely think that being able to customize the actual donation page would be really awesome. To kind of make it look a little bit more like what we would want it to be would be really great.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Givebutter makes it really easy to take payments and manage on a CME level.

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts, Seth! 💛 So glad taking payments and managing donors has been easy for your team and that the setup went smoothly. We’d love to hear more about the customization you’d like to see on the donation page. Please feel free to send any specific ideas to feedback@givebutter.com
.

We’re here to listen, and your input really helps us improve. Wishing you the very best with your fundraising journey!

 ### 47. Easy to Use, Great for Donations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emily G.

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

I love that Givebutter provides an incredibly easy-to-use platform for processing donations and serving as a campaign landing page. The low barrier to entry is fantastic, as it means we don't have to dedicate time to complex training for our staff. It's also a breeze for our supporters to make donations without needing to log in, simplifying the donor experience significantly. Additionally, Givebutter acts as a central hub where we can direct donors to find relevant and timely information about our organization and campaigns, creating a seamless and engaging user experience.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

I find that additional segmentation of notifications for supporters could be helpful. This would allow for more targeted and relevant communication with our donor base. Additionally, the feature of sending automated thank-you notes with auto-filled information isn't as robust as I would like, which would improve donor engagement following contributions.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Givebutter provides a user-friendly platform to process donations and campaign details, reducing training needs and simplifying donor interactions.

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> Oh wow, Emily, this is such a beautiful piece of feedback. Thank you so much for sharing this! 🥹 Knowing that it helps lighten the load on staff and makes donating a breeze for your supporters is exactly what we hope for.

And thank you as well for the thoughtful notes on what could be better. Your ideas around more segmented notifications and stronger automated thank-you options are genuinely helpful; those are the kinds of improvements that make a real difference for organisations, and I’ll be sure to pass them along to the team. 🙏

Really appreciate you taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review, Emily. Feedback like yours helps us keep growing in the right direction. 💛

 ### 48. Givebutter is simple to use, but lacks realtime updates.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eduardo Delgado C. | Marketing Analytics Intern, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

The upsides of Givebutter are how user friendly it is, building campaigns and auctions is really easy, no prior experience or knowledge needed.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

I dislike how Givebutter’s auction setup is a bit confusing in terms of setting it up for a campaign. The save feature wasn’t working which was frustrating.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Givebutter is solving the issue of knowing how much revenue the company I work at is making, which makes it easier for me to create strategies based on that.

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Eduardo! 💛 That’s absolutely not the experience we want you to have. We’d be more than happy to help if something seemed off. Our support team is here around the clock to troubleshoot in real time so you don’t have to go through that frustration. We really appreciate your feedback and hope your future campaigns and auctions go smoothly!

 ### 49. Versatile Crowdfunding Platform with Opportunities for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tasneem M.

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

I love using Givebutter for its modern, simple user interface, making the event page look appealing and professional. This interface enhances the overall user experience and presents our events in a visually engaging manner. Additionally, I greatly appreciate the flexibility the platform provides with exporting data. This flexibility allows for a more tailored experience in managing and analyzing data post-event, making it seamless to integrate information into our existing systems like DonorPerfect. These features collectively enhance our ability to manage our events and fundraising efforts.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

I found the crowdfunding feature on Givebutter to be extremely complicated to use, which may have discouraged our donors from attempting to crowdfund. The process with teams was confusing, and donations made to a team member didn't automatically credit their campaign, causing discrepancies in the final amounts. Additionally, there were numerous software glitches that took a long time to resolve. Our pre-filled narratives for donors didn't appear as intended, and our story didn't show up correctly on the event page. Lastly, although the initial setup was relatively simple, certain aspects didn't feel intuitive, particularly regarding how all the components of the event page fit together.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Givebutter to manage ticket sales, crowdfunding, and donations seamlessly on one platform, offering flexibility with data exports. However, I struggle with its complex crowdfunding feature, causing confusion and discrepancies, and encounter software glitches impacting user experience.

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> Thank you so much for sharing your detailed feedback, Tasneem! We’re really grateful you took the time to do so. I’m so sorry that the crowdfunding feature felt confusing and that some glitches impacted your experience. Please know our team is here 24/7 and we’d be more than happy to walk through this with you. We’re just one chat away! 🤗

Regarding team members not getting credit right away: this usually happens when a donor doesn’t select a specific team or member at checkout. To help avoid this, we encourage team members to share their direct links with family and friends so their name is automatically selected when someone donates. We’d be very happy to show you examples of how this works to help ease any confusion.

We want to make this right for you and ensure your crowdfunding experience is smooth and seamless. 💛

 ### 50. Seamless Donation Platform, Cost-Friendly for Nonprofits

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristen R.

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Givebutter?**

I really like that Givebutter has no added costs outside of processing fees. This is especially important for our nonprofit organization, where we want all the money to go directly to the children for healing. It's also extremely easy and manageable to set up, which is a big plus.

**What do you dislike about Givebutter?**

I would enjoy the donor management side of things to be a little bit easier. I'd like it to be integratable with QuickBooks, ideally with no cost.

**What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Givebutter for a seamless platform to accept donations without any added costs outside processing fees, helping our nonprofit direct more funds towards healing children affected by trafficking.

**Official Response from Shiella D:**

> Thank you so much for sharing your experience, Kristen! 💛 We’re thrilled Givebutter is helping your nonprofit accept donations seamlessly and keep more funds going directly to the children you support. 😊

We hear you on donor management and QuickBooks integration! We always try our best to provide as much as we can on the free platform, and I’ll make sure to share your feedback with the team. While QuickBooks is now part of the Plus plan, we really appreciate your thoughts and are always looking for ways to make things even easier for nonprofits like yours.
