GitProtect provides a ready-made solution for protecting our intellectual property against accidental or malicious loss. At times updates to the SaaS product can impact running backup jobs. However, we have always been able to fix any issues thanks to the excellent and responsive support of Xopero. Unfortunately, Github itself does not provide customer-specific backups and doesn't allow customers to initiate corresponding restores on their own. This is the gap in our disaster recovery strategy that GitProtect is filling. Thanks to the features provided by GitProtect we now have recurring encrypted backups of our intellectual property that we can control ourselves. This is the second time I've chosen and implemented GitProtect, and it's been a fantastic solution once again. The reason I came back is simple: it works. The setup is a breeze, the pricing is clear, and it integrates without any fuss. Just like my first experience, we went from proof-of-concept to fully operational in just a week. The core product is solid. My only wish is for more detailed error logs. Sometimes when a scheduled backup has a warning, it's tough to figure out the 'why' on your own. This leads to opening support tickets, and while the team is quick to respond, a final fix can take a while. More detailed, actionable logs would be a fantastic improvement. What do you dislike about GitProtect.io? I have faced some bugs while using the tool, there was an incident where while taking the backup it only backup up my main branch and not the other branches. So we use it on day to day basis to take backups of our GitHub and GitLab and their team is very professional we actually had person who setup an online meeting with us and helped us setup everything. GitProtect.io, the easy way to say it is that it is a backup solution that is most helpful for DevOps engineers and App developers where they are able to backup their Project files from multiple platforms such as Github, BitBucket etc., and is most sure too. The one thing I'd like to point out is these backups can't be accessed from mobile as it doesn't have a separate app and is not mobile-friendly.
