"The best development platform for programmers"
What do you like best about GitHub?

The Github platform provides easier code development and is recommended for a group of developers working on a project. It also helps to track code changes that were done in different instances of time hence, making it easy to track any code bugs that appear due to any recent changes. It also helps to discuss certain issues then release Pull requests according to those issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GitHub?

The operations like merge, patch and rebase on the github repository are a bit difficult to understand and perform. If there would be a GUI version of github for Rebase and other repository functions, things would be a lot more easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"My Review for GitHub"
What do you like best about GitHub?

We can archive our projects and share them with our peers for them to collaborate on. The beauty of it is that we can have more than one person collaborate remotely on a project. GitHub has some of the best documentation ever. It provides good Backup facility which is a great thing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GitHub?

It costs to have a versioning repository on GitHub, however it is worth the investment when we are working professionally. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"project management system and code version control, social network platform designed for developers."
What do you like best about GitHub?

It is a srive platform to save files with source codes in any language and make it available to all people who are interested, even if the person who uploads all this may want to add permissions so that the person who are interested can modify it or also say what they want, besides that it has more tools where you can work with task management, statistics or a website where you can easily promote your projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GitHub?

This work platform is useful to do it with an open project but doing it with a private project is where the thing is complicated because where only a group of people work in private, a payment option must be chosen, that is, this is where this tool has certain limitations in the free version, that is, if we want our project to be public, we must choose a payment option so that it has open access to everyone. "Seamlessly Share, Collaborate, and Open-Source"
What do you like best about GitHub?

GitHub is probably one of the best, simplest, and best documented, workflow and versioning platform for development. Working on a team with GitHub is extremely easy--you can easily pull from other people's branches, see their progress, open issues, or make a request to push to someone else's branch without any issues and each individual will not be touching anyone else's, or the core, files of what you are working on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GitHub?

GitHub, although a master in its field, can be difficult at times because when using the terminal to upload it is extremely easy to get trapped in a text editor for a commit, or not having proper access rights, or SSH keys being incorrect. GitHub has been built around a bit of a shaky infrastructure and there are some small sinkholes that you can fall into and find difficulty getting out of at times.
