False positives are the most consistent frustration, some alerts are overly sensitive, flagging things that aren't actual secrets, which clutters the dashboard and creates extra manual review work. For a small team already stretched thin, spending time validating whether an alert is real or a false flag is friction you didn't budget for. The UI could be more intuitive, especially in high-stress moments when you've just received an alert and need to quickly understand what leaked and exactly where to fix it. That's precisely the moment you need clarity, and the interface doesn't always deliver it fast enough. Pricing is another sticking point, it's not always clear upfront what features sit at which price tier, which makes planning and budgeting harder than it needs to be. The alerts are actionable, making it easy for us to act fast on affected files and rotate compromised secrets quickly when needed. It's very easy to use and set up, detects exposed secrets quickly, and provides clear, actionable alerts. It fits seamlessly into our development workflow without slowing us down. For example, if I use the keyword "Password" but I’m not using any credentials there, it still shows an issue. What I like best is the secret detection across our Git history. When we ran a historical scan on one of our repositories it surfaced real exposed credentials we had no idea were sitting in the commit history. The alerts are clear and actionable, which made planning the remediation (rotating the secrets and rewriting the Git history) much easier. Remediating secrets that are already committed to history still takes manual work on our side (rotating the credential and rewriting the Git history), which can be intimidating for smaller teams. I'd love even more guided or partly automated remediation steps directly from the dashboard. The volume of alerts can also feel like a lot at first until you tune what matters. It gives us visibility into hardcoded secrets across our codebase before they can turn into a security incident. Before using it we had no reliable way to know whether credentials had leaked into our Git history. A historical scan caught four exposed secrets in one repository, which let us rotate them and clean the repo history proactively instead of reacting to a breach.
