"We use Gitbook for OpenThaiGPT Opensource Documentation."
5/5
What do you like best about GitBook?

GitBook's web-based editor is intuitive and easy to use, allowing users to quickly create and edit documentation without the need for any technical knowledge or coding skills.

Another advantage of GitBook is its collaboration features. Users can easily invite other team members to collaborate on a document, and changes made by different users are automatically tracked and merged together. This makes it easy for teams to work together on documentation projects and keep everyone on the same page. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GitBook?

It may not be as customizable as some other documentation platforms. While it's easy to use and has a clean, modern interface, some users may find that they are limited in terms of the customization options available. For example, there may be restrictions on the design and layout of the documentation pages, which could be a problem for users who want more control over the look and feel of their documentation. "Excellent Experience with Gitbook So far for Bay Valley Foundation & Bay Valley Tech"
5/5
What do you like best about GitBook?

As a director and instructor for a code academy who has to work on many different projects with many different teams of students, staff, and interns, I love the version control features of Gitbook. This allows us to have many drafts in the works from team members and then edit and post/update content as soon as it is ready. By having the advantage of version control in our documentation, we can have the best of both worlds of quantity and quality of work, and give students and interns opportunities to improve their writing and communication skills, as well as provide valuable help to other students who are learning web development. The pricing options are fair, and it was a big help to be able to apply for a free plan upgrade as a Non-Profit org! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GitBook?

I have not really run into much that I dislike about Gitbook so far, I feel like the platform is pretty straightforward (as someone who already uses Git and GitHub for software development). There is a little bit of a learning curve to learn how to create all the sections that I need but that is the same issue with any documentation or collaboration platform. "Very good tool to share your team's FAQ & Tools tutorials"

What do you like best about GitBook?

Sharing gitbooks to large scale of users (+1000 employees) , with illustrations and sub menus is a nice way to share without loosing the readers. Better in UX than Notion Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GitBook?

one of the only thing we were facing issues is the versioning : we wanted to know what version users used to have 3 months earlier, without possibility to export it. A Really nice improvement would be to have a changelog. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Gitbook is Intuitive to use, well organized, and looks great"
5/5
What do you like best about GitBook?

The organization of the pages is great. I like that pages can have there own subpages, rather than everything needing to be in a folder. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GitBook?

I wish there was a keyboard shortcut for code blocks, and that the code blocks didn't have " // Some code" inside because it only has to get removed every single time I use one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The excellent help docs for GitBook are a lifesaver"
5/5
What do you like best about GitBook?

If you do not have a strong development background, helping an internal team for a huge tech giant can be daunting. And its a weird area to try to find help. I used GitBook to create user docs for a new iternal platform and the help docs from GitBook made it possible. Thank you! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
