What i like best about GitBook is that it helps keep all information more organized in one place without making documentation work feel confusing. ease of use feels very comfortable because pages, sections, and different guides can be managed in simple way. I use it frequently for storing patient nutrition instructions, follow-up workflows, consultation notes, and health education resources. i also like features like structured documentation, nested pages, search, collaboration options, workspace organization, and content management because these are actually useful for maintaining healthcare related notes and educational material properly. Creating different documentation sections for nutrition plans, consultation progress, and wellness content feels more practical compared to keeping everything in random files. the editor feels clean and not overloaded, so writing and updating content becomes easier. Performance is also smooth during normal daily use and pages usually open properly without much delay. overall, GitBook feels like a practical platform for organizing healthcare documentation, nutrition resources, patient workflow notes, and educational content in more structured way. **What do you dislike about GitBook?** Sometimes editing and page customization can feel little confusing in starting, specially for non technical users who mainly use it for documentation and organized content management instead of developer work. Some advanced options and settings take time to properly understand. Performance is mostly smooth, but when switching between multiple pages or editing larger documentation sections, small loading delays can happen occasionally. **What problems is GitBook solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is helping me keep documentation, notes, follow-up workflows, and educational information more organized in one place instead of managing everything in different files and folders. it makes handling structured information much easier during daily work. the page organization, search system, and documentation structure are very useful because they help keep nutrition guidelines, consultation notes, wellness resources, and educational content properly arranged and easier to access later when needed. It also reduces confusion while managing different topics together. Another useful thing is that updating information and maintaining organized resources feels more simple compared to traditional notes or scattered documents. overall, it helps save time, improves organization, and makes daily documentation workflow more smooth and manageable. ### 2. You also don’t need to worry about syncing with GitHub—your progress is always safe. The support team is very helpful, and deploying the site is smooth as well. The AI tasks are really useful for formatting and designing your documents. The price is affordable, too. **What do you dislike about GitBook?** While GitBook is a powerhouse for documentation, it isn’t without its share of frustrations. A major drawback is the pricing structure, which can feel steep for small teams or individual creators, especially when you compare it with free, open-source alternatives. Another pain point is the shift away from a markdown-centric workflow toward a more proprietary, block-based editor. That change has alienated some developers who prefer full control over their source files and a more transparent editing process. It seems like you have to ask for permission for the community plan, which is simply what Gitbooks would claim is for free anyways. I'm not sure why they need you to make a formal request for something like this, but the team answered me really fast and approved my application to the community plan so it wasn't really a big problem. **What problems is GitBook solving and how is that benefiting you?** It allows me to quickly and intuitively create a website with giffs and a cool structure for good and comprehensible documentation on the software I've built. ### 4. My teams frequently need to reference our SOPs to accurately complete our work, so it is very helpful to be able to rely on more consistent searchability compared to disorganized storage in Google Docs. Additionally, the customer service and support has been quick, responsive, and helpful. **What do you dislike about GitBook?** For teams that primarily or exclusively use the web editor as opposed to local repositories synced with GitHub, I would like more documentation and features for creating a backup of my documentation that's cleaner than downloading all of the docs as PDFs. **What problems is GitBook solving and how is that benefiting you?** My team does data entry, among other things, which means we have accumulated many specific processes over the years. We previously documented these in Google Docs, but found the search capabilities in Drive lacking, which meant that folks did not use SOPs which would then eventually become out of date. Our team has found GitBook much more reliable to keep our docs organized, up-to-date, and easy to search through to find information. And we've found that the easier it is to use the SOPs, the more likely it is that they are maintained. ### 10.
