With its best-in-class features and seamless integration with popular code hosting platforms such as GitHub or GitLab, Tower grants you all the power of Git in an intuitive interface. Available for Mac and Windows. ## Git Tower Reviews ### 1. Pricey and Only Worth it for Some **Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** December 23, 2021 **What do you like best about Git Tower?** You can use tower on both your laptop and desktop on same license. Using a DIFF in tower is far superior to using a DIFF in something like Sourcetree. This is an upgrade to the free version of git. **What do you dislike about Git Tower?** Many will stick with the free version of git as it gets the job done. Unfortunately, it's also not better or maybe only slightly better than Sourcetree. Sourcetree customers will not switch to git tower. **What problems is Git Tower solving and how is that benefiting you?** Things that take a while to go through on the command line take mere seconds on git tower. The Interface is straightforward to operate by using a commit. And the changes are reflected as soon. UI looks very clean and sleek. **What do you dislike about Git Tower?** The price of the Software is a little bit on the higher side which makes it reconsider purchasing the software. It is easy to see all the changes that have happened from different users and the timestamp. **What do you dislike about Git Tower?** It's very slow, difficult connection process and can have issues when pushing/uploading to Github. Sometimes takes a while to send the update to Github and so you have to wait for the visual update on Github before having confidence that the work you did has been fully uploaded **Recommendations to others considering Git Tower:** N/A **What problems is Git Tower solving and how is that benefiting you?** The ability to complete multiple tasks for one project in one go rather than doing it one by one on Github **Official Response from Julian Rothkamp:** > Thanks a lot for your feedback, Harsh! Regarding "issues when pushing/uploading to GitHub": we haven't heard that from other users so far. Tower is very robust in these matters (which makes sense when keeping in mind that it is using pure Git in the background).
