## About GigXchange
GigXchange is the UK's first peer-to-peer live music marketplace. It connects artists, venues, agents, and promoters in one platform — replacing emails, verbal agreements, and cash payments with built-in contracts, Stripe escrow payments, real-time messaging, and two-way reviews. Any user type can initiate an engagement. Fees are shown upfront on every listing. Every booking generates an automatic digital contract. Payments are held securely via Stripe and released when the gig is complete. Built solo by a gigging musician (rock and metal since 2009) who got frustrated with how broken the booking process is. Currently in Open Alpha with free access for the first 250 musicians and 250 venues across the UK.

**What do you like best about GigXchange?**

I like GigXchange's clean, intuitive interface and the fact that it offers features that are far more useful than those on other platforms I've tried. It's easy to navigate, and the overall user experience feels polished, as if it has been designed with event professionals in mind. It saves me so much time and makes everything smoother. The initial setup was really easy and straightforward.

**What do you dislike about GigXchange?**

I haven’t used it long enough to identify any areas for improvement yet

I use GigXchange for sourcing and managing entertainment. It saves time, makes everything smoother, and the intuitive interface feels designed for events professionals.
