I like how they build their analytical research reporting the best out of their competitors. There was some dropoff during their time when they were either being acquired or sold, but it looks like that has settled down. GigaOM has new owner and content as of 8/2015. The site is easy to read and well designed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about GigaOM? Since the new owners took over, the new articles are not as good as the old ones. Before being sold, the content was much better and provided more current information and original news and content. The do not provide any deep insight into a company and don't profile emerging to new companies. I would like to learn more about what's on the horizon versus a rehash of Apple's latest OS. Their reports require a lot more detail and need to include a larger number of smaller and emerging companies in emerging areas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering GigaOM: There are other companies that provide much better reporting of than GigaOM, I was very impressed with the work they did in the beginning but it seems to have declined greatly over the past year or so.
