## About GetWhy
GetWhy is an AI-moderated research platform for enterprise consumer and market research. Its AI moderator runs video interviews in +100 languages, scored live against the industry's only documented 17-criteria framework, and every report is checked before delivery. Recruitment is automated: 300M participants, SmartMatch matching, and multi-layer fraud detection, with no cleanup. Findings become shareable Stories and compound in Boards you can query across the organization. Two ways to use it: self-serve on the AI, or a full-service team of Senior Researchers. Teams at eBay, Coca-Cola, and Heineken get decision-ready insight in 24 to 48 hours, up to 20x cheaper than a traditional agency.

## GetWhy Reviews
 ### 1. Sonar increases the source of knowledge

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rodrigo V. | Business Partner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2023

**What do you like best about GetWhy?**

Some studies require a specific audience, and by setting filters I can make sure I'm reaching the right audience. This helps me reach users who are similar to our audience. I analyze all usability tests by exporting sonar notes. However, I wish I could export multiple tests in batches. I can take notes while watching a session and I can create clips of problems or bugs that occur in the user experience. It really helps when I share them with other teams. Sonar is beneficial for large companies operating in an agile environment. If you work in a fast-paced environment and need information quickly, Sonar's method is a great help. If you are resourceful and have the ability to ask questions, you will be surprised at how quickly Sonar becomes useful. We are a small crew and we try to minimize the amount of work we carry by minimizing our workload by optimizing research operations, which is why uncontrolled testing is critical to us. However, if you have a small company with limited resources, it may be costly. Therefore, it may be more economical to purchase several tools that specialize in different areas.

**What do you dislike about GetWhy?**

I think some contributors lie about their demographics. Sometimes when I try to reach users who are native English or other language speakers, I get non-native speakers, even though I set up the demographics accordingly. Gathering data for a presentation is difficult and time consuming. I recommend testing with users how the tool can be used to organize research and present it to leaders so that the tool has additional tools.

**What problems is GetWhy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Sonar to validate product ideas, test the usability of our products and iterate on product designs. Sonar helps us find usability issues in our product that would otherwise be difficult to detect. It could be that we are biased against our own product, or that we are so familiar with it that we don't see these problems. Sonar also helps us minimize the time spent on usability testing by allowing us to run unmoderated tests using demographic data of our choice.

 ### 3. It helps organizations to properly understand market trends

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carrie M. | Group Talent Acquisition Lead, Retail, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2023

**What do you like best about GetWhy?**

Sonar allows us to involve team members in data collection, follow-up comments and video recordings of interviews, better understanding the desires of those interested in our products, and also, we can track competitor companies. Reports and dashboards are beneficial; we can rely on them to prepare future insights.
