**What do you like best about Mapal Culture Suite?**

There isnt much to like. The home screen when you can (eventually) log in, looks nice?

**What do you dislike about Mapal Culture Suite?**

Strong Recommendation Against Contracting with MAPAL Systems (Including Flow Hospitality)

We strongly advise against entering into any contractual agreement with MAPAL, particularly in relation to their Flow Hospitality system. Based on our experience, the platform and service offering fall significantly short of industry expectations and professional standards.

Key Concerns:

Lack of Account Management & Support
After securing a contract, the level of client engagement drops sharply. Sales representatives appear primarily focused on locking in long-term commitments, with minimal follow-up or ongoing support. Not easy to integrate with other system or implement into your tech stack.

System Reliability Issues
The platform frequently encounters technical glitches, including error messages, system crashes, and performance issues, resulting in operational disruptions.

Outdated and Unintuitive Interface
The user interface is severely outdated and not user-friendly. Making basic edits is cumbersome, and the support team is slow to respond to urgent queries. The system lacks basic features you find with other products on the market. 

Ineffective Training Resources
The learning modules provided are not engaging, lack clarity, and appear to be outdated — making them largely ineffective for onboarding and training purposes.

Pros:

Unfortunately, we found no notable advantages to the system or service.

Recommendation:
We urge others to avoid the financial and operational drawbacks of engaging with MAPAL. Instead, consider alternative providers such as Tayl, Peninsula, Food Alert (excluding Alert65), or Trail. These companies offer better value for money, more modern solutions, higher levels of integration, and more flexible contract terms.

Its not solving any. Use a different system.

**What do you like best about Mapal Culture Suite?**

How easy the platform is to navigate, learners can easily see the training to be completed and explore additional learning options at their leisure. I especially love the Career mapping capability, I have worked in L&D a long time and never been able to create a visual journey of career pathways available, that also curates learning opportunities

**What do you dislike about Mapal Culture Suite?**

Some elements of the platform took more time to develop as they were new and as first adopters this was challenging at times. The team were supportive in helping us to navigate and use the various elements to ensure we got the most value from them.

**What problems is Mapal Culture Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mapal allows us to host our annual performance development reviews, compliance training, development training, talent development and career pathways all within the one platform. We have also recently began using their engagement surveys for training evaluations and employee engagement pulse surveys. This has increased traffic to the system and we have seen an increase in consumption of our online learning options.

**What do you like best about Mapal Culture Suite?**

The suite allows me to create personalised training journies for my team with easy-to-follow reporting tools to manage its execution and delivery.

The library of training modules provides a wide breadth of content to create programmes that are specific to individuals and job roles, and having the platform available as a mobile application means that the team can acess their training on-te-go.

The implemtation team were very patient in guiding me through the use of the system from an adminstrational perspective, and so far the follow up customer support have been really helpful where I've had questions about further building out our use of platform.

One of the reasons for choosing the Mapal suite was its ability to integrate with our HR and Scheduling software which saves us time having to duplicate new starters on both platforms separately.

**What do you dislike about Mapal Culture Suite?**

It takes a little time to get familiar with the navigation tools; perhaps too many options that could be streamlined?

**What problems is Mapal Culture Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Mapal Suite is ensuring that we can deliver our statutory training requirements within the Licensed Hospitality field, as well as helping us to create a firm foundation of soft-skills and knowledge based training. The reporting tools allow me to monitor the progress of the team training and zero-in on those that need additional support to ensure we have a well-trained team delivering armed with the relevant knowledge to carry out their roles.

Excellent range of products to suit learning differences - knowledge checks, work books, evolve - use of audio, visual, physical training techniques.
Easy reporting, on a wide range of topics.
Great customer service.
Integrates with our products so onboarding is slick and easy.

Can be very technical to build some products, which are difficult for operationally backgrounded team members to use. 
Sometimes help centre takes. while to reply.

Tracking tem delevopment and training - allows us to effectively manage team development remotely and identify venues which need further support. We can use to send through training practises or policies to support remote teams. Allows us to tailor training to different needs of indivuduals or teams, or based on their products served at venue.

**What do you like best about Mapal Culture Suite?**

Mapal is helping organizations bring all there data needs, routines and internal comms into the same platform.

Having worked with Compliance specifically we have managed to easily distribute effective routines and checklists to more than 800 staff members on a daily basis.

Compliance has helped us align our organization and allowed us to effectively be working on the same tasks regardless of geographic location.

Imagine having one person working in one way and another in another way...Compliance ensures that all 800 have the posibilty to work the same way, so the impact of this is huge for our organization.

One of my personal favourites about Compliance is the ability it has to impact quickly. By this I mean if we need a checklist or routine implemented asap it can be done with just a few easy clicks.

**What do you dislike about Mapal Culture Suite?**

Have not worked with Mapal Culture Suite. 

One downside I have noticed... 

For existing and established organizations we do not always have the time to spend on a young developing platform. Essentially we do not have time to be the guinea pig of a platform and helping them to grow whilst compromising on our immeadiate needs.

I could be wrong,but in my opinion Mapal Culture Suite would be ideally adapted to startups where they can grow with the business and both parties are happy to spend time on developing together, atleast in the early years.

Mapal Culture Suite through Compliance helps align our organization and ensure that daily routines and tasks are being completed.

We only currently use Flow-Learning and have had great success with it. There are lots of different elements that can keep learners engaged and removing the need for paper documentation

My regular catch ups with Hugo are great and I always feel heard

It would be great to use the tools but we already have systems in place which seem to be slightly more advance than what Mapal can offer.

One of the things I like most about Mapal Culture Suite is how user-friendly and intuitive the platform is. It makes managing and organizing employee training, engagement, and performance tracking incredibly seamless.

**What do you dislike about Mapal Culture Suite?**

The system can occasionally be slow, particularly when handling large amounts of data or generating detailed reports. 
While the mobile experience is functional, it could be more polished.

Before using Mapal, tracking training progress often required juggling multiple platforms or manual processes, which was time-consuming and inefficient

hard to correct a test once published without a full reset.

It has a wide and further develping range of ways to support our team to learn. The off-the-shelf content remains the best in class.

It could do with an easy search function at the top of the log in for team to find multiple methods of learning interventions.

We are not using the system to its full potential, but as we are starting to use it more and more, be able to provide our team with access to SOPs at the moment of need is very handy.

The support team are extremely straight forward to work with and support is always there when required.

**What do you dislike about Mapal Culture Suite?**

The least helpful part of the Mapal Suite ( We are only really using Flow LMS and Mapal One) is that the reporting offered is extremely limited. I have fed this back numerous times over the years but have yet to see any real progress.

Developments are often in the pipeline for quite a long time but we don't necessarily get to see them straight away if at all. It is only when we ask about something that we get offered it. 

Inconsistencies with communication too - doesn't seem to be a regular schedule of when and how things happen for the customers.

Mapal culture suite is great for having oversite of what training has been completed and what is still left outstanding. The sysyem is really easy to use. It is great for feedback and ongoing training to support all areas of our teams.

One of the things that is slightly frustrating is that if someone has used Mapal with a different company is can sometimes be difficult for the original account login.

easy to use and integrate, a nice mapping tool, and very easy to implement additional learning, we will be using the full extent of the platform and use the platform as often as possible.

no access codes to reset passwords and 3 3-hour waiting time for the password set.

autmation of learning and 1 click soultion, give employee a full description of whats need to be done to progress in their cairee

The Customer Success Manager really works with you to ensure you are getting the best out of the product. They are on hand for any queries or support you need. The platform itself is easy to use with helpful online guidance for those features you dont use as often.

The time it takes the help/support team (Not the assigned customer success manager) to acknowledge/respond to issues/queries needs work, but i know that is something they have been improving on.

It allows us to house all our learning and development in one place, ensuring consistency in message across all our sites.

Configuration currently don't sincronize with Flow. If you put inactive it still shows on Flow. There is not a filter bottom on every window. The dashboard does not show what I really need.

Whith Mapal our workers do all the compliance training and external training calendar. We use it for appraisals.

Confidence in compliance. Creativity and engagement of components.

Sometimes components don't behave in a way as a business we want them to, however the Mapal team are great at taking onboard such feedback and developing updates.

**What problems is Mapal Culture Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently solving our probation and annual review process, with more effective functionality, and reporting enabling better accountabilty and tracking of trends. 

Course authoring tool is fantastic and is enabling us to create on-the-job modules which facilitate consistency of learning as well as relieving time pressure on trainers.

We use Mapal internationally.  Having all compliance training and reviews in one place is very convinient. Easy to use and integrate, and very easy to implement additional learning.

**What do you dislike about Mapal Culture Suite?**

The customer support is friendly but can sometimes be very slow to get back to issues/ queries. Reporting is very limited. There's room for improvement on the engagement part. Some of the issues are repetitive, meaning the bug is not fixed.

Tracking training progress is efficient using one platform for all.

Having all solutions in one place has been extremely helpful. We had several different systems before, some used more than others. Now, all in one place no one has an excuse or misses out on important information.

Easy to do business with. Great communication from reputation.com. Respond to customers quickly and alert us quickly as well. Support has always been a great and fast help also. I really like the alert notifications as well.

Could be a bit more cutting edge and do more to attract reputation.com compared to its competitors. The responses are a bit repetitive as well. If they added more features, they would be number 1.

Userfriendly and easy to keep track of your to do´s and other structure to your everyday work and weekly controlls of a work place.

Since its so easy to use and build it can easily get to much boxes to tick on an every day basis. Make sure you narrow down what you want. If you like lists you can easily get stuck in makin to many. There is no stop. 
Also takes a lof of battery on your phone if you use it a lot.

We use the same tool all of us at the workplace. To follow up same things week after week with my colleagues and share imporvments or problematic areas.
