"Aleph Supercharged Our FP&A Reporting with Seamless Excel and PowerPoint Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about Aleph?

Aleph has been a great addition to our FP&A toolkit. The Excel integration is especially intuitive—most of the functionality feels natural right away, and it requires very little training to get up and running. That ease of use has made adoption across the team very smooth.

One of Aleph’s biggest strengths is its flexibility. It’s highly customizable and can be adapted to fit a wide range of workflows and business needs, rather than forcing you into a rigid structure. That’s been a big advantage as our processes continue to evolve. I especially love using the Aleph formulas in Excel. Instead of having to use a cookie cutter template or a system generated report, I can set up my files however I want. This not only made creating new reports simple but also allowed us to leverage existing reports as well.

The other Excel feature that I'm a huge fan of is the drill down function. This has allowed me to quickly drill down by the dimension of my choice. For example, if consulting expenses are high, I can drill down by department to figure out which one is driving the variance.

Another game changer has been the Aleph charts/dashboards. Not only can you set up charts to be easily refreshed each month, but these can be inserted directly into your reporting deck through the Aleph Powerpoint plug-in. To refresh each month, all we have to do is update the month filter in the dashboard that is connected to all the charts, then click 'refresh all charts' in Powerpoint. Huge time saver versus having to re-insert charts each month.

Performance-wise, the speed and reliability have been excellent. We’re able to work with data quickly and confidently without worrying about lag or system issues.

The price point is excellent for this product. Especially since the implementation time is so quick and you have a dedicated person on your account.

Another standout aspect is the support. Having a dedicated point of contact who I can work with directly when questions or issues come up has made a huge difference. It’s responsive, personal, and genuinely helpful.

Overall, Aleph strikes a strong balance between usability, flexibility, and performance, backed by a high level of support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aleph?

Table customization features within the dashboards tool are somewhat limited. However, the individual assigned to our account has been incredibly helpful and has been working with the engineers to get the additional features we are looking for added. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible, Self-Serve Finance Data Pipelines—Fully Integrated with Excel and GSheets"
5/5
What do you like best about Aleph?

Aleph is very easy to use and fully integrated with Excel and GSheets, which lets us build data pipelines from our ERP (NetSuite) and data warehouse (Redshift) and put that data directly into the hands of our analysts and other non-technical staff.

It also supports extensive flagging and tagging of data in its cloud DB, where you can store your mappings so everyone is working from the same summaries and pivots. Overall, it’s very flexible and truly self-serve. Highly recommend. The AI gives us a head start on variance reporting and mapping suggestions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aleph?

There isn’t much to dislike. It’s not a full planning tool; it is more of a component of your finance tech/data stack. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible, Intuitive, and Fast to Implement—with Amazing Support!"
5/5
What do you like best about Aleph?

It's flexible, intuitive, quick implementation, and the support team is amazing! We've had nothing but a great experience from the multiple demo sessions to speedy implementation. The team was incredibly responsive before we signed on with them, and continued that same level of support and care after we were engaged with an SOW (HUGE shoutout to our support Michael Kang!!!). They were clear on expected timelines based on review of our files and were always available to help in a timely manner when we had an issue. Michael was not only incredibly helpful with anything we had issues or questions on, but he felt like an active partner who understood our system and files to help suggest improvements along the way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aleph?

Honestly, nothing major. It has been nothing but a huge improvement for our process and how we report/forecast. Their reporting and dashboard features can use some more work but we are actively working with them to get that in a better position, and it's looking hopeful! "The FP&A tool I've been waiting for!"
5/5
What do you like best about Aleph?

Aleph is an unbelievably intuitive and easy-to-use finance tool. Implementation was smooth and straightforward, and it quickly became our tool to house our single source of truth across data systems. I love that I can model with confidence, always using the most up-to-date and accurate information. It’s made financial analysis faster, cleaner, and far more reliable. Also, there team is incredibly attentive and communicative whenever I need help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aleph?

Some of the more complex dashboards can slow down my computer at times, especially when working with large datasets. Optimizing performance for heavier models would make the experience even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Modern, Automation-Driven Workflow That Feels Cutting-Edge"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Aleph?

The product feels very modern, and is integrated with a lot of modern technologies. It also incorporates strong automation features with helps with workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aleph?

I feel that some features are still sometimes not as smooth as expected. IE. When I use "Push All", the UI may sometimes not alert me that it was updated, despite the data being pushed due to some tabs with "Push" built in not having any data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Platform with Powerful Mapping and Time-Saving Calculations"
5/5
What do you like best about Aleph?

The platform is user-friendly and easy to navigate. The mapping features are especially useful when working across multiple clients. Automatic calculations and calculated fields across tables help cut down our workload, reduce working time, and make day-to-day tasks more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aleph?

Sometimes, refreshing data can be a little slow. Also, it’s not very efficient that the chart of accounts isn’t fully loaded until the accounts begin to have activity; this feels a bit inefficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Excel Add-In That Makes Modeling Easy"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Aleph?

The best thing in my opinion is the functionality within Excel. The add in is very intuitive, and the aleph function makes it easy as well to incorporate into models. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Aleph?

The biggest downside is that although everything in excel works great, it would be helpful if you were able to make live changes in the web version as well without having to push. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
