"A seamless virtual conference experience" 4.5/5 What do you like best about Chati? I'm actually glad that I was asked to write a review. I think it's one of the few virtual conferences I attended via Labroots because a lot of cool topics were being discussed in the area of proteomics. I actually expected the experience to be somewhat boring and clunky, but it ended being very user-friendly. I even felt encouraged to invite my friends to attend labroots conferences because of how well-designed the user interface was. I found it quite intuitive to use, and the networking hub feature was a useful one. I liked how the exhibit hall was designed, and I this sort of format kept me engaged for a longer time as I get easily bored in webinar-based/ zoom-based virtual events. I found no problems with links or in moving from one part of the event to the other. Would definitely recommend this platform to anyone I know who's organizing an online event with multiple dimensions/ interfaces of interaction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Chati? I think I felt the atmosphere was a bit too sombre, which is expected for the formal event (conference) that I attended. Perhaps a chat box or a forum would be interesting to see real-time chats from multiple participants on certain topics, and a moderator could be available for the day. I think it would make a lot of difference and make the experience richer and meaningful as it gives the participants a space to be candid and demonstrate their views on the day's lectures and related topics. I'm generally an introvert and in the last few years have been diagnosed with a chronic health condition that restricts my ability to travel as much as I would like to. I find it amazing that I can listen to some very inspiring scientists whose work is cutting-edge via this easy-to-use platform. The best part is that my life has been a rollercoaster professionally and personally the last few months and I had missed 2 talks which I had actually looked forward to listening live, but that didn't happen. I'm really thankful to you guys for allowing me to access the saved lectures later. And as someone who's into virtual experiences due to my chronic health condition and reduced ability to travel, it feels pretty awesome to be able to use the interface to access the lecture than just go to a basic, boring video link! The different aspects of the software that allow you to create a customized 3-D environment really help with immersion compared to other online formats. The interface is helpful and simple.
