## Gerrit Reviews
  ### 1. Robust Code Reviews with Clean UI and Strong Git/Jenkins Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ayush M. | senior software engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Gerrit?**

Gerrit has a robust code review workflow. It makes it easy to manage changes and ensures that only reviewed code gets merged. We can track revisions and leave detailed comments directly on the code. There is strong integration with Git and Jenkins. It also has a clean UI. Additionally, we can manage user-level access to control who has the ability to merge code.

**What do you dislike about Gerrit?**

The integrations with some modern tools feel limited compared to other code review platforms. There’s also a steep learning curve for new team members, which can slow onboarding. On top of that, the initial setup and configuration can be time-consuming and technically challenging, especially if you’re trying to get everything aligned from the start.

**What problems is Gerrit solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It ensures that all code changes are reviewed before merging, which helps improve overall code quality. By enforcing a structured peer-review workflow, it reduces errors and bugs and encourages more consistent standards. It also provides clear accountability by showing who made each change and why. Tracking revisions and the full history is straightforward, making it easier to understand how the code evolved over time. It supports collaboration across distributed teams as well, helping everyone stay aligned throughout the development process.
