GeoWave is a field attendance and employee tracking app for businesses in India, made by Aptivix Technologies LLP. Employees check in and out from their own Android phone or iPhone with a selfie, GPS location and time stamp. While they are checked in, the app records their location every 3 minutes; tracking stops at check-out. Points recorded without network are stored on the phone and uploaded when the connection returns. Managers and admins use the web dashboard and phone app to see a live map of everyone on shift, each employee's day timeline (stops, trips and distance), and geofences around offices and client sites. GeoWave also covers shifts and breaks with automatic late marking, leave requests and approvals against quotas, task assignment with comments, files and approvals, push notifications, and attendance reports by day, department and person with CSV export for payroll. An optional face check matches each check-in selfie to the employee's enrolled face, with their consent. Pricing: free for up to 5 people; Business is ₹299 per user per month plus GST.
