What do you like best about GeoHECRAS?

Being able to integrate AutoCAD makes 1D bridge modeling much quicker. The software interface makes models easy to edit and visualize. Models can quickly and easily be updated. Technical support is very helpful and available when needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GeoHECRAS?

Nothing at the moment. Some models take a while to load and analyze, but that is likely caused by working off a remote server. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about GeoHECRAS?

The flood elevation animations are very helpful in showing our clients the impacts of the storm events over a duration of time. They are easy to export and share with our clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I still wish there were a quick way to export multiple cross-sections of a model that include flood elevations and velocities at a given location. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about GeoHECRAS?

Uploading surface files from Civil3d has helped a lot to streamline the inclusion of data into the software compared to previous methods of manually inputting the data for cross sections in older software's. I also enjoy knowing I can ask the support team to help with any troubles I have with the remote help feature offered at Civil-GEO. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GeoHECRAS?

What do you like best about GeoHECRAS?

My favorite thing about GeoHECRAS is the ability to visualize large sets of data over a large area. The program is user friendly and can be easily learned using the helpful videos they have on their website. Their customer service team is also great whether its about purchasing the software or when handling specific engineering questions. They're always eager to help. What do you dislike about GeoHECRAS?

The only downsides of using GeoHecRAS is that sometimes, with larger sets of data, it can take quite a while to run the models. Also I wish that there was a way to plot all profiles in one click, rather than having to do each one individually. Overall, great product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive hydralics tool makes hydraulic analysis simple."

What do you like best about GeoHECRAS?

Every time I use GeoHECRAS I learn something or find another tool that saves me time in my hydraulic analyses. I've found that not only does this software reduce our time analyzing hydraulics, but it also makes it easier to teach young engineers how to model hydraulics because it's more, dare I say, fun. The visuals and easy-to-navigate command ribbons make it easy to find what we need to model. GeoHECRAS includes many features Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GeoHECRAS?

I would like to see GeoHECRAS be able to output all cross-section geometry data (STA & elevations namely) concisely. I think that this would save some time during certain modeling scenarios that come up more frequently than I used to assume. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about GeoHECRAS?

In GeoHECRAS, there are many features that make it easy to obtain the information required for most standards. When you have a question or trying to understand the features that are implemented, the program have a question mark that will direct you to their Knowledge website that will give you a brief description on what the function is used for. If you still have questions about the program or any issues, the engineering team is always responsive in reasonable amount of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GeoHECRAS?

Saving is sometimes an issue, especially when working on larger projects. It is inconvenient that we need to save everything on local drive then archive or save as onto your shared drive. Every other feature has been amazing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
