Being able to import CAD files into the Geo-Hec-Ras model is a huge benefit. It allows me to better understand the impacts of water surfaces on my proposed sites. I have been using GeoHECRAS on various Floodplain Mapping. I like the tools that helps to save time. Instead of going back and forth you can simply use different menu items and progress through your project with ease. It is simple to use with the interface. I like that GeoHECRAS provides speed and efficiency in creating hydraulic models and makes developing CAD files for FEMA CLOMRs easy. The organization of input parameters is also a plus. I really appreciate that all types of files can be dropped into GeoHECRAS to easily view other discipline's information and ensure my hydraulic models are as accurate as possible. The support team has been really responsive and available on the day of all our support requests. Also, the initial setup of GeoHECRAS was remarkably easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
