Our clients continue to be impressed with what we're able to accomplish in this software and the way we're able to present results. What do you dislike about GeoHECRAS? GeoHECRAS has been a very reliable software for me, and I currently have no recommendations to improve it. Being able to import CAD files into the Geo-Hec-Ras model is a huge benefit. It allows me to better understand the impacts of water surfaces on my proposed sites. I really don't have any complaints. The software works great and whenever issues have occurred, the technical support team has been able to help me solve them. Because CAD dwg's can be brought into the model along with google maps it has made it much easier to know that I am correctly modeling any floodplain fill that we are proposing. It also has made creating a new model that has the correct stream centerline and sections cut at areas of interest so much easier than doing it in HEC-RAS could ever be. I have been using GeoHECRAS on various Floodplain Mapping. I like the tools that helps to save time. Instead of going back and forth you can simply use different menu items and progress through your project with ease. It is simple to use with the interface. I like that GeoHECRAS provides speed and efficiency in creating hydraulic models and makes developing CAD files for FEMA CLOMRs easy. The organization of input parameters is also a plus. I really appreciate that all types of files can be dropped into GeoHECRAS to easily view other discipline's information and ensure my hydraulic models are as accurate as possible.
