I teach English and I use this tool to introduce new vocabulary and create online exercises and games. You can use many tools to do that but with Genially you get the "wow" effect! The graphic is awesome, and if you use the free extensions you can create any kind of exercise that you want! It's easy to use, and if you have any problems, the support staff is always ready to help. There are also many Facebook pages that offer help and inspiration to the users. I recommend Genially to every teacher, it's impossible not to fall in love with it! It's difficult to point out what I like least about this brilliant platform, but considering the demands of the users I usually guide, there are requests for Genially to be present in app stores. Another complaint from users is that the page is still very heavy, requiring the interruption of other tasks to avoid slowness. Beginner users also often have many difficulties understanding the interface. What I like most is the versatility. Interaction with other platforms, freedom of creation, ease and versatility. I had wanted to delete my account a year ago, but it is technically impossible to delete your account yourself while a plan is active. It is clearly written in Settings / Access. So I waited until the end of the plan to delete my account. On the due date, I received a debit email of €249.90 with automatic renewal of my plan. I contacted Genially to obtain reimbursement for this unsolicited plan on a platform that I do not use, but also to delete my account permanently.

I received the same answers as the hundreds of people in the same situation as me: Genially hides behind its general terms of sale. According to Genially support, I should have canceled my plan before the due date and not on the due date. He also told me that if I wanted to delete my account, I just had to ask them.

So I sent a second email to ask them for a second time to delete my account and all my personal data, claiming the GDPR.
