There are constant errors, and they keep changing the interface. The contact list has data errors. It's also too expensive, and I feel like I cannot leave. The initial setup was difficult. Sequencing is so intuitive with Genesy, and you can add LinkedIn connection invites, messages, and emails to your sequences. We use it every month for cold outreach and have been enjoying the comprehensive features. Integrating my LinkedIn account was easy and seamless and it has helped me make high-quality connections. I set up an outreach workflow using Genesy's visual builder. I like the Campaigns dashboard, which lets me quickly check on the progress of all our team's campaigns. There is a slight learning curve to setting up your account, lists, and campaigns. But their support team is hyper-responsive and super helpful - they make me feel like a VIP customer, because they know what my pain points are and remember my previous queries and what I want to achieve with Genesy. The AI text generation isn't very good for long-form text but works well for short-form. We used it to add the job roles our prospects were hiring for based on their LinkedIn Job Ads. We don't believe in the "spray and pray" approach to sales. Each and every person we reach out to is a researched prospect that we feel would be an excellent addition to our partner portfolio. Genesy helped us create dynamic databases with exactly the contacts we want to reach. It also makes contact management super easy with its flexible database tools, namely custom columns and filters. Our team was using Clay and Apollo for some time to automate outreach but we had a hard time to onboard the team for both tools and combine the campaigns. Proved unsuccessful for us. Then we found out about Genesy AI, did an outreach experiment (their team and customer support helped us along the way and very quickly) so within 4 weeks were were able to close 4 new partners. Just like that. Also the team found it easy to be onboarded and launch the campaigns on their own using their own identities through the platform. Highly recommend it! Not a big downside but we struggled for some time to do something extra with the automated outreach - attaching personalized loom videos.
