**What do you like best about GENESIS?**

GENESIS brings visualization, alarm management, and historian data together in a single platform. The asset-based alarm organization, along with the built-in historian, reduces setup time and helps speed up troubleshooting when issues come up.

**What do you dislike about GENESIS?**

The learning curve can feel steep for new users because the platform includes many modules and configuration options. While the documentation is helpful overall, some sections could be clearer, and the initial setup—especially for more complex integrations—can take longer than expected.

**What problems is GENESIS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We previously relied on disconnected tools for visualization, alarming, and historical data, which made troubleshooting slow and forced us to maintain several separate systems. With GENESIS, those functions are unified in a single platform, so tracing an alarm back to the underlying asset and pulling historical trends now happens in the same interface—significantly reducing diagnostic time. The UI/UX takes some ramp-up, but once it’s configured, day-to-day navigation is straightforward and efficient.

Integrations with our existing devices and control systems worked well overall, although a few legacy protocols required extra configuration. Performance has also held up as we’ve added more data points; for larger deployments, some tuning is helpful. From a pricing/ROI perspective, the unlimited licensing model made it easier to scale across more clients without having to renegotiate costs each time. Support and onboarding were solid during rollout, and while the AI/intelligence features are still maturing, the core platform already delivers clear time savings for monitoring and troubleshooting.
