"Generect Supercharges Lead Gen, But Needs Better Analytics and Pricing Flexibility"
5/5
What do you like best about Generect?

Lead gen and validation has been a game changer for our special projects. In my position I make a lot of things happen where I go out, identify prospects for new hotel partners, corporate wellness providers and possible furniture retailers. Without Generect, you would have to manually determine the right operations or procurement contacts at these organizations. Now with the browser extension and platform, I am able to very easily build a list of verified decision-makers with high trust that my data is accurate. Now we can enrich prospect lists of potential partner companies with key contacts including direct lines and corporate email addresses, slashing our initial research period by at least 50%.” It adds a level of precision to business development that simply never existed before. What do you dislike about Generect?

It can get slightly pricey for a company of our size, because not all members of the sales team utilize it on a daily basis instead just specific project teams. I also think that the reporting around lead source and campaign performance within Generect itself is a bit basic. Description: We have to rely on our CRM heavily to monitor the full funnel and a more robust analytics dashboard that demonstrates our journey from enriched lead to closed partnership would be immensely helpful for demonstrating ROI for us finance folk. "Generect Supercharges Lead Generation, But Needs More Social Insights for Small Businesses"
5/5
What do you like best about Generect?

The browser extension and lead enrichment tools have totally revolutionized the way I work everyday. I spend my days on LinkedIn and literally with the push of a button I get a verified corporate email and direct phone number of someone I’m looking to research. The data is so precise that if any person were to call me or email me today and ask for any kind of personal information, 50 percent of my day would not be derailed on wrong emails, bad phone numbers. Prior to Generect, I’d spend a day compiling the names of 50 contacts, and maybe 20 would be legitimate. Now I can make a list of 50 and 45ish will be right. This directly results in more conversations and a longer pipeline. The lead scoring also gives me an idea of who to call first based on company signals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Generect?

The only catch is that for very small or new businesses, the system isn’t always able to locate a corporate email so it will sometimes give you a generic address like info@ – not nearly as good for targeted outreach. I would also like to see more social media data points incorporated, such as a prospect’s recent activity or engagement on Twitter or LinkedIn, to provide me with additional conversation starters beyond their job title and company news. "Making the Experience Personal and No Data Science Team"
5/5
What do you like best about Generect?

I was the Head of Online Growth for a lifestyle brand with 400 employees and my job was personalization, but I didn’t have the technical resources. In the case of Generact you can see that as we were going live rather than rolling out campaigns, we could start with a small test but with a powerful impact. We created dynamic banners that display different messaging to people who visit from paid social ads versus our email list. The AI's "frequently bought together" suggestions are a whole lot smarter than what our initial simple solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Generect?

Our marketing ops person learned how to use the advanced segmentation builder after about two weeks. It’s slick, but there’s a lot to learn about our customer data structure for using it to its maximum potential. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"We Scaled Our Testing Without Adding Headcount"
5/5
What do you like best about Generect?

Generact has played a big part in growing the optimization side of things, as CRO Manager at a fashion retailer with 500+ employees. My team can run as many A/B tests at the same time and I don’t need our developers for it. Our marketing team now do a test every week with Generact (it can be experimenting on new product image layouts or testing a variation of call to actions buttons). The p value statistical significance calculator, on the other hand, guides us when tests are actually conclusive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Generect?

It was also a bit challenging to get our new team members used to setting things up for complex tests. We planned two onboard sessions with Generect’s customer success team to get everyone up to date. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Rapid UX Testing Unlocked Without a Full Dev Team"
5/5
What do you like best about Generect?

I’m the only UX Optimization Specialist at a quickly-scaling electronics company with 150 people in the building. I need to prove that design changes are working — fast. Generect’s visual A/B testing tool is my favorite. I recently employed it to A/B test three different layouts for product information across our most important product pages. I was able to get my own trials including the variants set up in a morning and see statistically significant results within one week. We didn’t have to involve engineering in order to test new product displays, so this was a huge win for our lean team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Generect?

I would love more visualization options for heatmap and scroll-depth data. The data is all there, but if I had the ability to customize color schemes and overlay options I could make great looking reports with more context for our product team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Cut down on Headcount While Scaling Our Personalization Program"
5/5
What do you like best about Generect?

Generect has been one of the more impressive ways I've scaled personalization as the Head of Online Growth at a 500 person lifestyle brand. The AI recommendations dynamically tuned placements of the products for customer behavior and segmentations. We’ve created rules based on visitor type that dynamically display hero banners and product collections for new vs returning. It was so easy to integrate with our Shopify Plus store and we were getting results within the first week. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Generect?

Simple customer segmenting was easy, however the variables and logic to create more complex lists did take some maneuvering using their support team who I do need to say are highly informed and very responsive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Bridge Between Marketing and Development"
5/5
What do you like best about Generect?

In my capacity as Head of Online Growth at a dynamic lifestyle brand, I needed tools to give my marketing team greater freedom while also retaining site independence. This capability Generect kb going for a Song. The rich visual editor and template system enable my team to independently create and launch landing pages for joint promotions and campaigns. Approvals are also very good. can review and approve any changes before they go live, so you can rest assured. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Generect?

I can't be pleased enough want---. A direct Asana integration system, that would allow us to auto-generate requests from within Generect whenever a member of our team asks for new templates or features requiring dev work, would be highly beneficial. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The Data Link From Our Strategy to Our Clients Execution"
5/5
What do you like best about Generect?

At Barrel, in our agency work with many lifestyle and fashion brands on the Shopify Plus platform, my main responsibility has been translating high-level strategy into measurable, testable hypotheses. Generect is the one that enable this. We leveraged the platform's A/B testing module to validate a new navigation structure we had recommend for a recent client in the activewear space. The granular performance data is my favorite though; I can see how a change to a layout on a category page specifically impacts scroll depth and add to cart rates by audience segment. This takes our client conversations from a position of "we think" to one of "we know." Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Generect?

It can be a little disjointed, especially if you are dealing with several client accounts at the same time. I want a real agency dashboard to have all client storefront health scores in one place, without the need to log into each one individually. A small workflow interruption but a timesaver nonetheless. "Reduced Our Promotional Time-to-Market by 80%"
5/5
What do you like best about Generect?

I manage Shopify storefront conversion and agility as the Ecommerce Manager for Summit Outfitters; a (litterally) small outdoor gear retail shop with nearly 200 employees. The thing I loved most about Generect was how it freed us from reliance on a developer for almost all of the merchandising. Last quarter, for instance, we completely redesigned our "Camping Essentials" category page using the visual A/B testing module. Having the ability to view performance stats like scroll depth and CTAs on a product tile level in the Generect dashboard in live time is a complete game changer for our day-to-day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Generect?

Please note that the first configuration of our catalog rules was kind of complicated. The customer has a lot of SKUs and wanted to organize dynamic collections by margin and inventory levels. We worked through a couple calls with support to get the logic dialed to fit our internal logic, but ultimately the customer success team was very responsive and stuck with us through it. "The Primary Method We Use to Examine Client Originals and Develop a Action Plan"
5/5
What do you like best about Generect?

Generect provides us with a data-driven basis for all of our client recommendations. Rather than relying on best practices or shooting darts in the dark, I have the power of the platform analytics available to me telling me exactly how the client's product catalog is doing on their actual living and breathing storefront. The ability to analyze visual hierarchy and to point out underperforming sections on a website are extremely useful for us to create an appealing business case around our suggested strategies too. Itis like having an X-ray of the customer journey. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Generect?

Since we are an agency, we have different clients on different ecommerce platforms that we manage. In principle, the core integration is seamless, however switching from client through client within the Generect dashboard can be a little clunky at times. And also, I would love to see a real agency dashboard, where you can get a health score or salient metrics for each of your client storefronts in a birds-eye view.
